I didnt have plans for the ICONS line originally but having them in hand they are fantastic. It will be a series I continue to buy since the Arkham line is slowly coming to an end. I have tried to be a nazi about displaying DCD/DCC seperately from DCUC stuff over the years. But i just kind of gave that up the last couple weeks. Its an OCD breakthrough for me....lol....now i just want a superhero display with everything from Marvel to DC and the other indy lines (LCBH/Indie Spotlight) and have it look nice. The ICONS series doesn't really "blend" in perfectly, so I've tried to avoid them. But the bottom line is they're just too nice to ignore. Plus, I've found with some creative posing, i can fudge the scale to fit in with the rest of the collection.

I finally took the plunge on a couple of ICONS figures this week. A local Hastings distributor, MovieStop, is going out of business and they've got a ton of figures on clearance. A lot of DCC stuff included in that, so I'm going back to get more stuff after payday. Anyway ,i went ahead and picked up an ICONS Batman and Black Adam on this go round. Obviously the big deal on the scale is disappointing. Wish the Bats was more 6.5" than flat 6". But ,that aside, he is a really nice figure. Just add an upper thigh swivel and I'd consider it nearly perfect. The Black Adam though....wow.....he's scaled taller and fits seamlessly with DCUC figures, which works out great for me as he's one of the few main villains i do not have from the Mattel line. Again, add thigh swivel and he'd be the perfect Adam for me. Even though i do not want to start a sub collection right now, its pretty hard for me to pass on this line. I've got a line on Flash, Arrow, Lantern and Luthor during this sale. I may have to grab them, but looks like I'm out of luck with Deadman and Miracle if i decide to do so. Also, according to TNI, thr 3rd series with Supes, Harley, and Aquaman is supposedly hitting in June. So, if DCC has their shipping together, those should be imminent.

Was seriously underwhelmed by these 2 and had every intention of passing them up, especially because the Giant Man BAF has ZERO interest for me, but -- for $27 for both of them via the Bay, I couldn't pass em up, and I'm glad I didn't. They're both quality. Red Guardian has a paint app problem at the edge of his glove, but -- nothing major. Can't wait to wrap up this series with Fury and Panther. MAYBE Cap. We'll see. ![](http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm179/directorrobertthompson/pic_zpsss1ah3y3.jpg) I'm still thinking Nuke will end up being my "sleeper" hit figure of the wave. I've been tempted to pull the trigger on him online, but it seems that if the wave ever gets to my retail area, he (and Guardian) probably won't be too much of a problem. Both are welcome additions for me though. They were both fairly frequent characters during my comic reading heyday.

On the topic of Hulk figures, my favorite and definitive Hulk will always be either of the FO figures from Toybiz. But those pics have semi sold me on the Select Hulk too. I say "semi" because i don't have a burning need for another MCU Hulk. But the scale on that guy vs the ML Hulkbuster is a thing of beauty. I'm not gunning for that particular Hulk, but i DO want the comic version from a few years back and his Red Hulk counterpart/repaint. I've been on the fence about both due to the scale questions, but after seeing the pics, I'm down to get both soon. Thanks for posting those. I love the shading, the veins, and the detail on him. It was between him (the "Unleashed" version) and the classic "Incredible Hulk" w/ purple pants for me, but I'm wholly glad I went with this one. Like I said, if it had an ab crunch it would be my favorite action figure I owned -- at all. But even with doing stop motion it's not like Hulk REALLY needs an ab crunch, so -- I'm more than happy. I'm going to pick up Abomination, maybe as soon as this weekend after I rent one of my cameras out, And I can't wait to see them in comparison with one another, given A-Bomb is supposed to be one of the largest, and heaviest, figures. And yeah, I'm planning on picking up a Red Hulk, too. I want a Thunderbolts team to display eventually. Although, next on my list of Selects has to be: Abomination Colossus Red Hulk Sabretooth 5x Chitauri (eventually) Seriously, so far I've bought: Hulk, Thanos, Ultron, Juggernaut and Lizard -- and the only one I was displeased with was Lizard. Didn't suit my stop motion needs (but he LOOKS PHENOMENAL. -- particularly the larger selects go so damn well with the Legends, I love these bigger guys. I've got a chance to pick up that Colossus, but I'm a worried he may come off a bit too tall with Legends. Obviously he's supposed to be taller, but its a tough call here. I think he has pretty decent articulation and i love the detailing. Looks better than the series 5 ML all around. I'm just on the fence about his size. I'm afraid that instead of standing tall over ML figures, he may dwarf them. Same for the Sabretooth as well. Any thoughts/opinions?

I'm totally planning on getting that Select Ultron to make my default Ultron. Thats probably going to remain my definitive version. Scale works out fine for him IMO. I'm not big on the BAF version, but i do want the 3 pack one. I'd like to get that one for the headsculpt. Maybe a couple of them actually. One for Ultron and another to put that Silvermane head that came with the Speed Demon pack in. Yeah I had actually seen someone use that body for Slivermane. Not too familiar with the character but the chrome color seemed to match well. Yeah, when I think Ultron the MS version is the one that immediately comes to mind. That Ultron/Beetle body is passable for Silvermane in my opinion. Certainly not 100% accurate, but it definitely hits fairly close to some of the representations he's gotten in the comics.

I hate that Hulk from the 3 Pack. I wouldn't mind getting 2 of those Ultrons though. Been wanting to build a small army of him lately. 2 3-pack Versions 5 Iron Monger Versions (Already own 1) 2 Legendary Riders Versions 1 Marvel Select. That'd be the main Ultron. As a newlywed myself ,i completely get where you're coming from. Thankfully ,things may be tight, but I'm not in the position where ihave to sell anything off. But I've been there in the past. I wish you and your wife the best and have fun continuing the Star Wars Black collection. That should still provide plenty of fulfillment of your hobby, some cool stuff coming out there. Good luck buddy.

Saw Civil War last night...loved it. ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif) I was gonna get that 3pack without hesitation before - now? Even moreso - Spider-Man ticked all the boxes for me. Just got back from my 3rd viewing. Child next to me talked the entire. f***ing. time. Literally, from the time Siberia faded in at the beginning. "IT'S STARTING!" he had to let everyone know the movie was starting -- the entire. f***ing. time. Civil War is a 2.5 hr movie. The. Entire. F***ing. TIME! I now have 5 kids ......and even i admit thats grounds for murder. Lol

Just got off the phone with a collector buddy of mine back in my home state of Indiana. He stopped at an LCS about 20 minutes from there in KY, which got in 4 cases of Civil War legends. Out of those cases the only ones left on the pegs were Cap and Iron Man. He talked to the shop manager and was told that everything else in those cases were gone within the hour he stocked them. Then joked that he'd be choking on Caps and Tonys for the next decade as they went totally untouched. Lol.....of course at 24.99 they will probably sit there a while since most people are patient enough to wait for Wally World or TRU to get them in for around 5 bucks less. Unfortunately my LCS hasn't recieved any Civil War cases yet....if they even will.....but i still think we'll get a fair shake at them soon. Its just a shame they missed the golden opportunity at a movie product blitz for the opening week.

I think you meant to quote me haha, I havent gotten the last multiverse 3.75 yet. Ive had them in my wish list for 3 months though. Just gotta stop spending money elsewhere haha. As for the accessories, I havent unpacked any for my figures yet but when I do most will get them except for cloth accessories. Even through I do the wash method, I dont trust them against staining. All others Im gonna try to put on. I did. lol I just picked this up this afternoon. Battle Damage Arkham Knight Batman (GameStop Exclusive) -![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zpswpdyjv9j.jpg) ![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zpsyqytpgf3.jpg) ![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zps1oe7gndg.jpg) ![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zps4fzs0lrb.jpg) ![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zpsoutlf5ds.jpg) And I got these about a week ago, but here are some pics... Bat-Creature - Lex Luthor - C&C Grapnel Gun -![](http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o25/Pet322/temporary_zps3qz8wqcc.jpg) I love that Battle Damaged Batman. I don't really collect too much of the video game stuff as its larger scaled and i prefer the comic book looks, but that figure sold me on the quality of those Arkham Knight figures. Enough so that i picked up the Catwoman and hope to find the Scarecrow and maybe Gordon too. Aesthetically, Bats here doesn't fit with my comic shelf, so i got him duking it out with some Neca Predator and Alien figures on a different shelf. One of my favorite purchases this year.....on clearance at Gamestop when i got mine too. Worth every penny.

But ,i just turned 38 ,so i must've slowed down justvlong enough to get hit by it. Anyway, I'll keep vigilant as i have had pretty good luck running into Ol Tasky a few times at various walmarts.

We're having the same results my friend. Most were out of just about everything ML related. ....the last stop ,a Walmart, was fully loaded. I could see ML boxes everywhere. 6 rows plus an endcap full. I raced down the aisle to discover a full case of Allfather figures ,restocked after finally selling out last week, a small handful of Absorbing Man figures, and God knows how many cases of Red Slaught wave....... Taskmasters......EVERYWHERE. Needless to say, no Civil War figures in my area. Lucky! I'd love to pick up a Taskmaster. Wish I'd known there was still much demand. Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Best online community I've ever frequented. Now back our regularly scheduled Marvel. Just recieved the TRU variant blue/yellow Deadpool.....authentic sample at that. Very pleased with the color scheme. Most pics I've seen tend to make it look a little muted. But ,in hand, it seems to "pop" more. Anyway, I'm glad i got it. Although it pretty much commits me to getting the X Force version now too.

Anyone on here able/interested in voicing Cap for me for a stop motion project? Possibly more down the line? I dont know if i got the right voice for Cap or not.....but i LOVE seeing the stop motion projects done with ML figures. So you already got a viewer here! I'd love to put together some of my own, but i don't have the software or means to get it done. Not yet anyway. But please keep us posted on your work. .............in other "news" today.....after viewing Deadpool with my longtime gf/ex gf (long story) we kinda.....uh.....got married this morning. So......yeah.....that happened. I guess that movie really was a love story huh? Lol......ok seriously it had nothing to do with the movie, but I'm trying to keep it Marvel related. I did tie the knot in a Marvel Star Wars shirt if that counts.........
