Looks like Man Utd are signing that Anthony Martial kid from Monaco.
Fee ranges between £36m and £55m. Even the £36m would be an overpayment....

Fun fact: Of all teams from PL to League Two, the only team to be undefeated with no draws or losses is Leyton Orient in League Two, who's 5-0. Strangely enough, they did similarly the season before last. They won like their first 9 games.

Man Utd must be the most boring team in the league.
Maybe even more boring than us.

What is this crap? Why did BBC scrap the Football league show after MOTD on Saturday nights? The BBC lost the rights so it had to go unless you wanted a Football League show with no highlights.

Tony Pulis has reversed the Stoke curse.
Rondon already looks a bargain.

Yeah I've pretty much stopped betting too. Just a small acca on the weekend and that's about it. Had Bournemouth/Leicester to draw, Man City home win, Hull home win, Birmingham away win, Wolves home win, Chelsea home win. I hate Chelsea.

Not sure why everyone is saying United got an easy group. Bundesliga runners up, Dutch champions, Russian runners up. It could have been worse (like Man City) but it could still be a very tricky group for United. I see there being slip ups for United for sure. Wolfsburg should get points off them and I think PSV will be a difficult game. These trips to Russia, like the trips to Turkey are a myth in my opinion. Whilst the traveling isn't great they never actually seem to play that well against the English clubs. True but CSKA did win at the Etihad last season.

Was amazed Pellegrini was given another contract in the summer, thought City were pretty damn average defending champions last season but fair play, they've looked Champion material these 2 games. Early days of course. It was very canny by City. They only extended it until 2017, meaning they could still hypothetically sack Pellegrini with only one year's payoff, but in the meantime all the speculation regarding him is over. Very smart. As for Chelsea, really poor start. Mourinho needs to sort it out ASAP.

Villa against United was shocking. I don't think I've enjoyed a football match I've seen yet this season. I thought Chelsea/Swansea was good.
