Looks like we're finally going to sign Bakary Sako from Wolves.
Would be a quality signing, plus getting the best player from our local rivals on a free is just gravy.

If he's injury-free, no problem. He's a very good player on his day.
But I doubt he will be. Plus we don't need another CM, so I'm not sure how he'd fit in even if he were healthy.

We're apparently in talks with Abou Diaby.
I pray to Pulis that it's only a pay-as-you-play deal or at the least, a one-year deal on low wages.

United will push us hard this Season. Their squad is so fresh and midfield is dynamic. Depay will be a big Player, looked keen to impress in this friendly going on at the moment. Deplh has every right to be leaving, he should be playing for a bigger club to progress as a Player. However I thought he was right to turn down City as he'll get limited game time. Silly to go back there in my opinion, unless he enjoys playing in the capital One Cup. Yeah maybe too fresh though. Might take a while to gel. Next season (16-17) if they keep strengthening the team, they've got a really good shot. Also I have a sneaking suspicion that Schweinsteiger will be a flop. I don't know, it just seems injury problems, not being used to the league, he's in his 30s now. I can't wait to see him in action but I've got a bad feeling about him.

What WWE fan cares about Lennox Lewis? Just like no WWE fan was AT ALL interested in the Floyd Mayweather/Big Show match....WWE fans don't really care about doing cross sport promotion and having athletes from other sports or celebrities have matches. In fact it's insulting to the WWE Superstars when WWE brings in celebrities and people from other sports for matches because it takes spots on cards away from actual wrestlers, and it is also insulting by perpetuating the idea that "anybody can wrestle" and it completely makes light of the YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS of training, struggle, and time on the independent scene that most wrestlers have to endure. This is the stuff that ruined WCW with Jay Leno, David Arquette, and Carl Malone wrestling matches. Hulk Hogan, the greatest of all time. Broke Andre the Giant's 15 year undefeated streak, has had battles with guys like Sting, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair.....but gets his ass kicked by late night host Jay Leno? The only person most WWE fans want to see step into the ring at this point is Ronda Rousey. But not against Stephanie McMahon. Ronda is the most dangerous woman in the world, and I don't think a 38 year old mother of 3 stands even a kayfabe chance when Ronda Rousey is beating legit fighters in less than a minute. That's such a tired cliche, let's be honest. What ruined WCW was the AOL-Time Warner merger, Jamie Kellner, the deal with Fusient/Bischoff falling through and Vince buying the scraps. WCW, despite it's questionable booking at times, was still pulling in solid ratings and PPV buyrates, even at the very end. The TV ratings were still pretty good by cable standards but the PPV buys were terrible by, well, any standards. They were TNA levels of bad.

Benteke leaving, now Delph is leaving again. Villa are going to need a Southampton-esque rebuilding job to repair this damage.

Well, looks like Benteke to Liverpool is all but confirmed. Can't say I'm thrilled with the amount spent, but another striker was a huge need. Time to wait and see. Benteke is pretty much the best on offer to you right now. Anyone better will probably choose to go to a CL team. Bacca you might have been able to get but Milan probably offered him ridiculous wages.

We were linked with Ranieri a few years back. Didn't think we'd ever see him in the Prem again after the Greece failure but, here we are.

Schweinsteiger to Man Utd could be very exciting indeed.
A lot of the United supporters are already insufferable though. Basically proclaiming themselves the greatest team in the world now and how they'll win everything this season. Ugh.

Betting suspended on Martin O'Neill returning as Leicester manager.
Of course his first competitive game in charge would be against Sunderland.

Are Liverpool ever going to pull their finger out of their arses and sign a striker? Bacca's been lost to Milan. Don't worry, Liverpool will cave at the last minute and give Villa £32.5m for Benteke.

When did they start showing WWE RAW live at 1am? I remember having to wait until Thursday/Friday night for it & Saturday for Smackdown. January 2005 as part of WWE's new deal with Sky. I remember being so excited to finally see Raw live.
