Given our run-in, this weekend's game against Leicester is must win. We should be alright if we get to 36 points.

Yeah. Defoe's goal is goal of the season so far. I'm still going with Matt Phillips.

Rooney's goal got lost in all the Adam chat As did Zamora's. Sanchez and Gomis scored quality goals too. Add Defoe to the list. Makes up for that dire Burnley/Spurs game.

Come on Cam, let's kill ourselves. Losing to QPR at home is an utter embarrassment. This thread looks fun. You playing QPR at home on the last day of the season also looks fun.

What the hell is going on? You can partly blame me, I put Lescott in my fantasy team today thinking he was a certainty to keep a clean sheet. I don't know but whatever it is, it's in' sh*te.

So it doesn't bother you guys if your team signs a player that you have no clue who he is Depends on how much they spend. I was skeptical when we spent £10m on Brown Ideye a few months ago having never heard of him, he's turned out....well he's starting to come good.

I gotta ask which leagues do you guys keep up with? Because honestly the big leagues are: serie a, la liga, bpl, bundesliga, France ligue. And realistically all the best players play in one of those 5 leagues. So not only do you have to follow one, you have to follow the others to understand who your team just transferred for. In the United states we only get premier league and are getting bundesliga next season. So which leagues do you guys watch? Any Premier League game that's on TV, Championship (league below Premier League) games if they don't clash with anything, and I'll try to watch the major games in the leagues you mentioned. Sadly a lot of them clash or I'm unavailable at the time so PL games are the only ones I watch with any regularity. You don't have to keep up with other leagues although it helps your overall knowledge.

So I recently found out the premier league has only been won by 6 teams. Can somebody explain this. Why is it so one-sided. It is definitely the most one sided sport Okay, first of all the 'Premier League' is not a sport. Football is the sport. Secondly, your information is incorrect as only 5 teams have won the Premier League. Thirdly, there was English football before the branding 'Premier League' existed. It used to be called the First Division. Here is the full list of previous winners: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_football_championsTo answer your question as to why only 5 teams have won the title in 22 years, it's because before the 'Premier League' existed, there wasn't a lot of money in English football. When Sky became involved and tons of money was pumped into the league, the teams who had finished high in the first couple of seasons became richer and became harder to stop. By the early 2000s there was four clearly superior teams - Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool (albeit never won) and Chelsea. The other two teams to win the title - Blackburn and Man City - largely did so because of their rich owners giving them tons of financial support.

So as a new premier league fan I wanna know how did everybody here become a fan of their team. So please share your stories of how you became a fan of the team you root for and If you have ever switched which team you support. Thank you My uncle has been a West Brom supporter for years and years and so as a kid, although I wasn't actually into football that much, he would take me to games occasionally. From there as I became a bigger fan of the sport, WBA became my permanent team. And no you should never change your team.
