There seems to have been a ridiculous turnover of players at Sundlund over the last few years. I remember Di Canio buying 12 or 13, and then Poyet buying/loaning loads too when he came in. Same at QPR. There were 14 players brought in during the summer Di Canio was in charge. Only two of them are still at Sunderland. And neither are regulars right now. I don't think the problem is the new players brought in, it's the old ones that are still there. Sunderland can't go on like this, starting a season poorly, bringing in a new manager and just about staying up isn't feasible every year. Even teams like Wigan didn't do that. I actually think relegation might be a blessing in disguise for them. Clear out all the dead wood.

You really can't predict summertime in the UK. It's always warm and humid but one day it'll be glorious sunshine and the next it'll be pissing down with rain. Bring a coat just in case. So he ignored your tip. Bet he just brings a t-shirt lmao. He's just asking for a drenching now.

Only wanting Poyet sacked because it's clear the players aren't playing for him. Still love him. The players need sacking. What's this, Sunderland's fifth season of struggle in a row? Not good enough.

Schalke....oh my word. Great performance, shame they were poor defensively in the 1st half or else they'd be through. Although if Real hadn't got those two Ronaldo goals they likely would have tried a lot harder in the 2nd half. Still, tremendous effort and Huntelaar is still the ing man from 12 yards out. He's got a foot like a traction engine! That was liquid football. Certainly one of the best games I've seen in ages. Even just a tap in he couldn't resist smashing it into the roof of the net. BOOF! EAT MY GOAL!

Even though I have the network I think I'll be ordering Mania through Sky Box Office. Don't want to risk any dodgy streaming on the night. Worked perfectly for me last year.

Pitch invasion is pure AIDS. Wouldn't think Villa have a rich history, so small time. That's the greatest accomplishment they can aim for these days. An FA Cup semi-final. I hope they get smashed by United or Liverpool in the semi-final AND get relegated to the Championship.

And off Tim Sherwood. Makes me even more glad than I was that we gave the job to Tony Pulis instead.

Has Johnson been sacked? He's finished if he's found guilty. Suspended pending an investigation. As for tonight's result....that was painful. Foster had one of those games. As good a keeper he can be, he also has games where he can't get anything right. Unfortunately, and especially against Villa, it came tonight. I just knew as soon as they showed Sherwood praying to the heavens that something would come along for them. Lucky bastards. I suppose we had it coming after that shoddy 1st half performance though.

Tbf to him, why is a 15 year old out on a night out? Has it been established that it was a night out, one night stand type of thing?

Doesn't sound good does it?

3 bad results for me today. Needed a City win & an Everton win, and hate Chelsea so disappointed to see them lift the cup. "That was a negative Lynn. And right now I need two positives. One to cancel out the negative.....and one just so I can have a positive."

What a couple of ing bangers from Coutinho and Henderson. City's goal was a bit tasty as well. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Berahino's strike from yesterday too.

lol this is awesome...It's very obvious that it's white and a sort of brownish gold. If it looks black and blue to you, then you have your screen tilted, you're lying, or you have eye problems... Of course, the dress itself is blue and black, but this picture has been modified to make it look white/brownish gold. So the people who were right the whole time are the ones with eye problems? I guess I must have brain problems because I don't understand that logic.

Got to laugh at Pulis moaning than Berahino got "Cattermoled". Didn't hear him bitching when players were getting "Shawcrossed", "Adamed" and "Huthed" every week. Stoke brought out the worst in him dammit! Leave Tony alone!
