Oh you.
This is top notch work as usual bro. You covered the bases very well, and considering how our storyline is already a cluster, that is no easy feat. I love how you addressed the title situation in the monologue (probably because it made me the target), but the best part is showing how Drakz basically took it in stride. Great representation of Donnie and Trace to set up that alliance, while showing Drakz having a sense of tunnel vision to his surroundings as he takes it in. Selling the match is good way of making Josh look good without lip service.
No complaints here man.

If it helps Drakz is the opposite in that he was heel for 10 years and then has been face for 2. I've had more success in his time as a (albeit questionable) face than I ever did as a heel. Before I came here, I still wrote as a face. My entire eight year run with Malakai was as a face. Sam was a face during his debut/initial run and I never imagined I could be a heel. But looking back, even though I've turned back to face, I don't think I could be where I am today if it wasn't for taking the risk and jumping in with Kyzer and going full blown scum of the earth heel. To piggyback off what you guys are talking about, everyone has a preference which side they like if they've been doing this long enough (all three of us have). I think to truly make a well rounded character and before you make a decision on which side you're want to play, you should try writing as a face and a heel. Now Drakz and bad guy™, you guys have different perspectives on this, having written as one side for an extended period of time whereas I wrote face at the beginning, switched to heel in the middle of my fed career (elsewhere), then became a face again (although I identify as neutral tbh because human nature seems to show that everyone has good and bad). But experimenting and becoming comfortable with both makes you better overall.

We're both such horrible procrastinators Drakz. Eventually, it's gonna do both of us in. I'm surprised either of us turned anything in for our PPV match lol Makes two of us. But we both planned on turning stuff in, whether it was on time is another story.

"The Monster" was one of my favorites from the early days of UFC due to his athleticism and power. What's strange is even though he was more accomplished in UFC, my favorite moments of his were from Pride when he knocked out Cro Cop and that Belly to Back suplex to Fedor.
His overall record wasn't the most eye popping at 17-16, but man he fought the best guys for much of it. Maurice Smith, Bas Rutten, Couture, Liddell, Rampage, Babalu, Fedor, Cro Cop twice, Shogun and Ninja Rua, Sakuraba, Rizzo. And almost 20 years of active competition should give him a special place in fight fans' hearts. On top of that, he was the ultimate gentleman and professional, one of the good guys in the sport.
RIP Kevin Randleman

I'm about half way with my RP. Same old story with me in that I have loads of free time but can't get myself to sit down and write. As soon as deadline creeps up the creative juices will start flowing. We're both such horrible procrastinators Drakz. Eventually, it's gonna do both of us in.

Hi just to know what is this section about ? This is our card for the upcoming show. It let's us know who is facing who, and who has taken which match writing assignments. Hope that helps.

That's why I'm giving it a go. Sorry - Drakz - I'm writing the promo RP (essentially an introduction to Seiryu and Kaori) as well as the match; with two versions, one where we win and the other where the other team does...I've had that affirmed as being correct...just wanted to let you know. Thanks. I can field this one for you Drakz. Yeah @3nwpro, with the match you can do one of two things: 1. Write two seperate versions of the match with each team winning, or 2. Write the match up to the finish, then two different finish scenarios for each team in victory. Most match writers go with the second option because match writing is a time consuming process.

I'm actually ok with this show on a couple fronts. One is building Styles/Jericho like the dream match that it is. Sure having most of the roster overseas helps with promoting the match to a better time slot (main event showcase).
Secondly, AJ losing here cleanly. Now let's face it, Jericho has been putting over a lot of people over the past 4-5 years (Punk, Fandango, Wyatt are the prime examples), and his win here gives the program much needed boost of credibility. Jericho's resume does a good job of making AJ's first win look big (as did the win over Miz as much as some may want to disagree), but the program loses luster if AJ is the only one winning.
It serves him better as a babyface if Jericho picks up a win and has moments where he looks strong on the way to the final match (anybody else digging the idea of 2 out of 3 falls). This isn't even really considered 50/50 booking to me, but rather a story they are actually giving some thought to, albeit in a formulated fashion. I think Vince, Stephanie, and Hunter all realize that they have an opportunity to do something good in the upper midcard with this program because of who is involved.
If they can keep this up until Mania, they will be able to reinvigorate Miz, give Jericho's run meaning, and sell AJ as a threat. Everyone comes out looking good.
Now if we can just get that kind of thought process with the rest of the roster, we'll be in good shape.

F*ck, at least my satirical material had sources... Joshua Dean meets Dave Demento on a roof: Sammy Ahriman buys flowers for Kyzer: Buncha uncultured swine - learn your overexposed B-movies already, wouldja?! Not enough time in the day man.

Oh Deep Figure Value has decided to turn the thread into a Comedy Central Roast so the attention would be taken off David Brennan. "Gimme a line, my dad was a drunk!" David snorts a line of coke off Drakz's d*ck. He gets wide eyed before cracking the top on a gallon of Tennessee's Finest."Whooooooo! Yeah,f*ck you Dad!" Daniel Kirkbride enters the dark, secluded room. David holds up a gallon of Jack in front of his saintly protégé."Oh hai- want some?" On a side note this is infinitely better than the competitive rp I did against Brennan many moons ago.

Have fun. Fedding gives you that strange gift of being able to create the kind of character you would want to have a "wrestling career" with. Most guys, especially starting out, usually go with an idealized version of themselves. But to really get the most out of this hobby, remember to have fun. A couple tips for success are to read other writers to get an idea of what works and what doesn't. And listen to the veterans around here when they give you advice on how to improve. We're all in this for the same reasons, so no one is going to give you advice that will sabotage you (except maybe Prophet of Ash just to be a d*ck ). Welcome man! The best part of this is when it backfires. So many people have written scenes with their characters sitting in a shrink's office to sell the "crazy" angle who have never seen a shrink. It's always glaringly obvious and it always comes off like it was written for the next Tommy Wiseau blockbuster: "I am just so angry. I hate the world. I want to kill so many people. Grr I could tear that painting off the wall this instant I just cooooould." Johnny Rex walks opens a door"O hai, Dr. Stevens! How is your sex life?" For the record, my character doesn't discuss his sex life with the shrink.

You're welcome for the extra Tag Matches Too avoid looking too humble I'd like to point out I won the Tag Team Championships and then successfully defended them on my own thanks to my partners on both occasions no showing. Well, I'll just make sure not to do that again.

Real talk: the first Drakz/Schneider match was extremely significant to me because it was the one match I hadn't had in my career. I faced pretty much everyone else of significance that's been around during my time. I don't remember when Drakz and I started talking to set up the match, but it was LONG before the match actually happened. Then the set up we did was unlike any before it. I can't think of another match here that had a PPV to PPV build without any matches. It was a unique scenario for both Drakz and I leading into it, but that Superbrawl match was very special and I almost wish I had called it quits for good with that one. Since Drakz/Schneider II I've had 6 matches. 5 out of those 6 have been Tag Team matches, and my match on the current card is a tag match as well making it 6 of 7! It's funny that even after 12 years of doing this I'm still finding new ground to tread. I guess it goes to show the longevity you can get out of this game if you want to keep it interesting. You're welcome for the extra Tag Matches

despite what he thinks, he wasn't around in that time period. Off by about 2 to 2 1/2 years. No I wasn't around but I've done plenty of homework over the years. Especially considering, ya know, you, Rev and Kyzer were so sure I was Immune till Kronic had to remind y'all Immune was his cousin and I am, well, not. To add on that point, I only know about the Immune joke because I came in November 2006, right at the height of it. I was much more active in the general discussions than I am now, and largely learned about the joke from reading old threads.
