After tonight's promo alone I want to see them team for a long, long time. Barrett is my choice for the most criminally underutilized talent they have on that roster and some days I feel like I'm the only person on here that loves the Stardust character. Hated it to start but man has it grown on me. This. As much as I'd love to see Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes as singles guys, it's better than watching them flounder. The promo alone has me thinking there's potential there, even if I thought Barrett was trying too hard. The Cosmic Kings line was gold and they should've ended the promo right there. Cody went a bit overkill adding the line afterward.

Watching his match against Cena, I seriously miss Sami. We need him back. What is the update on Zayn's injury? It's a shoulder and I know from experience those are a mixed bag of timeframes. Just curious if we should expect fall or winter for his return. Balor, Owens II, and Joe are the matches I want to see.

Raw was flat tonight. Paul Heyman singing was awesome but couldn't save the show. Agreed, Paul was stellar as usual tonight. But even as good as he is, as consistently as he is, you can't turn a poorly planned show around with half a segment. Also on the subject of the closing segment, it just astounds me how great Brock's physical charisma's is. We know his speaking skills are something terrible when it's more than a couple short sentences. But when Paul is carrying the hype and Brock is just standing there bouncing up and down with that smirk, I swear it's such a presence. Just a thought.

I also don't understand the booking of the Taker/Lesnar feud. Not hating it, actually I'm very entertained but I'm also really confused about what I'm supposed to think.
The Undertaker is currently the greatest legend left still wrestling in the WWE and is in his 25th active year with the company. He's presumably very close to the end and we only get to see him on very rare occasions these days, and tv is even more rare. Is setting him up to look bad or be booed in 2015 really the way to go? Aren't we supposed to be celebrating his "resurrection" and his 25th anniversary? Isn't there a DVD, and a book and a small tour coming up? I don't understand what they're doing.
Somehow having a confusing segment with The Undertaker of all people being booed on the go home show before Summerslam in 2015 feels like something failed somewhere. Why would they want to do that? I can think of a bunch of scenarios they could have done in which Taker appeared in Brock's hometown tonight that WOULDN'T have seen him actually get booed. If it was organic or natural it would be one thing, but they are undoubtedly setting him up for it. Hyping and celebrating Brock's return to the city and the crowd as his hometown crowd and having this be his grand "homecoming," then having Heyman cut another masterful promo right before Undertaker interrupts to kick Brock in the balls like only heels do. How is that NOT going to inspire boos after all of that? They would have had to have known that would happen or is Vince really that dense? They don't need anyone to be heel or be booed in this feud to sell it and I can't understand why set Undertaker up to look like this and get booed so close to the end for him.
As an Undertaker mark for 25 years who still feels that deep appreciation and excitement for every last time we get to see him these days, I just can't help but feel truly disappointed with where they're going with him. Vince has a habit of ruining everything great and I always viewed and hoped Undertaker would be the exception. I guess I was wrong. Even his greatest creation is going to get ruined at the very end. If we looked up gluttony in the encyclopedia, pretty sure Vince would be pictured. The man doesn't seem to know when he's doing more harm than good. Sure he's genius, but he forgot to keep the finger on the pulse.

I hated Tebow in college. He grew on me in the pros. I'd like to him succeed.

It's Vince. He probably only see's it as a shot towards Punk. yeah i think because punk beat vince at his own game in the court room and he just cant let it go i kinda feel bad for a.j her childhood dream & being one of the best women's wrestlers in the world and because of who she married it don't matter anymore in wwe or should I say Vince's eyes it must really suck to be punished for who you love I feel bad for AJ too, but she and Punk seem happier.

I feel like Trips never did that as blatantly as Cena does on a constant basis. triple h did it but he didn't just come out say it the way cena does I mean of course you take digs at the guy, but there's a way to do it.

So I'm going back and watching the last hour, and I hope someone in creative refrains from giving New Day a rapper gimmick because of their nursery rhyme promo before the eight man. As if they didn't have enough problems with stereotype gimmicks

Yeah, I've heard some grumblings that maybe Brock wins Sunday and Taker wins in a rematch at Mania 32. To me, Lesnar should win this match and that's the end of it. The next guy that beats Brock needs to be really special in the present. It should mean something. Brock losing to Taker is WWE admitting that ending the streak was a mistake. but it was. like in the moment, yes, it was unreal. the fact it happened, one of the craziest things ever. so i get it. but in the bigger picture, it should have never happened. for all he's done in this business, Undertaker should have retired undefeated at Wrestlemania. This.

On another note, John Cena needs to watching Pauls segment. Notice how Paul put Taker over? Thats how you sell a match. Dont ing call your opponent a joke and verbally bury him 6 feet under. Paul understands that part of promo cutting with a live mic, Cena still needs to learn that. But when you have an infinite leash with the boss, you don't have to learn. Someone else notorious for burying guys on the mic, HHH. But I don't think he was that blatant.

History should be remembered, but not to shat on someone. They're putting over their current talent. Nothing wrong with that imo. I agree nothing wrong with it. Let's just hope that's all it is.

they just want us to think she wasn't as good as she was and that nikki is better that's why they just mention her to put her down and to put Nikki over more Reminding people how long AJ's reign was sounds like a weird way to bury her. Sounds to me like they are just trying to put over their current talent, and as well they should. History should be remembered, but not to shat on someone.

We all knew that though lol. Think about it. All those years of scratching, crawling, and practically starving herself to get a chance at her dream. A chance at being practically immortalized in the history books. And it'll al be erased in 27 or so days. I get the strange suspicion Nikki will hold it a year. She's already so close to it.

That's because they want to get Mrs. Punk out of the record books. that's cause Vince is acting like a petty b*tch in this situation We all knew that though lol.

That's because they want to get Mrs. Punk out of the record books. exactly. and the fact they keep mentioning it just makes it more and more sad. It doesn't take as much of a concerted effort to remove AJ as it would Punk. 15 months is a long time to book ahead.

I understand that completely. I haven't watched a full episode of Raw in probably 3 months, so I didn't know they decided to tack the extra hour on Summer Slam. Shows how serious they are about making this the biggest event of the Summer. Let's hope so, I mean Summer Slam used to be a highlight for me as a kid. Bret/Davey, Owen/Bret, Orton/Benoit just to name a few.
