Adopt Don't Shop. And senior pets are amazing and super loving. I once helped a diabetic senior cat find a forever home, and it was a beautiful thing. I wish all animals knew and got to feel up close how loved they truly are, because they deserve to.

My heart goes out to you. Animals are our family too, and I know they mean the world to me. I have had a couple die or put down over time and it still hurts many years later. Rest in peace to the little guy.

They're mainly in cinemas over here and if I'm waiting for a movie then I'll check them out. Prices have certainly increased over the years. The basketball games are nearly $3. Even racing and Street Fighter games are around the $2.50 range. I remember a few years back, me and the misuss put $50 each on our cards and within 20 minutes, we had blown through $100. I am trying to figure out how the prices jumped so much for essentially the same games from olden days. Electricity costs? Offsetting costs of new machines? The slight rise in plushee/redemption prices? This is baffling. I spent $30 in 45 minutes yesterday. I had a blast, but wow, that went quickly. 5 bucks used to last hours back in the day

Hello all, we finally got a new arcade opened in my area, but wowzers have prices to play even basic things like skeeball and candy cranes gone through the roof, not to mention real arcade games and claws. It costs one dollar to play skeeball here, and that is the cheapest game in the place. Back 15 years ago, it was a quarter. I get inflation, but even the ticket to money ratio that you can even win is awful. Stuff is pricing folks out of fun.
Are yall feeling this way too? I hear deal days help, but this place doesn't really do those, and they pack their cranes tightly and under-ticket jackpots for how much stuff costs in the redemption center. A small plush is 600-1450 tickets. Big ones are ridiculous.....
Have yall found any better ways to stretch your money at these arcades?
Cheers.

I know this will receive a bit of hate here, but please can ICP show up on the Detroit show! Even just commentary or not even on anything but fan cam footage. Keep the Faygo on tap!

Hey Wfigs, I was wondering if any of you all also have an affinity for small towns, and what you particularly like about living there and, if you have one, raising a family. If you don't live in one, would you if you could?
I live in a small-ish Texas town, that I love dearly. Being off in the country is nice, except many people have moved out here in the past 30 years that we always assumed would be very sparse. I liked going to school in a small town, though cliques always exist at any rate, but there was a greater opportunity to learn in a close environment that fit my learning style well. I always enjoyed knowing so many people in my town, even strangers would wave and say hello. Granted there aren't the big city things to do in town, we made fun with what we had, and we cherish it even to this day. Fun is subjective for us I guess, because out of towners think we are a desolate wasteland. We have pride in our local cuisine, and because our pallets are geared towards it, nothing tastes as good anywhere else....I assume this isn't exclusive to us.
At any rate, I could wax poetic about this stuff for hours, but I hope it is an interesting topic for you all. Big city folks, please tell us what you all think, and let us know what we could add to our little necks of our woods that we are missing out on.
Cheers.

I am stoked on Danhausen "vs" Hook. I am pretty sure it won't be a real match, but boy it will be so fun.

Briscoes lost the titles? Dang. But does that mean they are closer to signing on with ROH/AEW?

I have a feeling Cody has guaranteed his universal title win in his contract to fulfill his legacy dream.

I have to admit I'm pretty annoyed that Cody left, but I'm thinking I should be glad he did. He mentioned that "it was an easy decision to go back." He talked about how the WWE Championship was "THE TITLE." He said he "doesn't want to be a 15 time TNT Champion" when he was the one who booked himself out of competing for the AEW Championship. Just a complete 180 from the things he was saying not to long ago. Regardless of what may have happened between him and Tony Khan, there's no way it can be comparable to the sh*t he complained about while in WWE. Of all the wrestlers who exited Vince's empire and signed with Tony, Cody was the most outspoken. After all of that, he goes back the first chance he gets............? Either AEW is a crumbling mess, or Cody is a little more sketchy than I would have thought. Oddly, he talked about "the history books regarding Tony Kahn". Could it all be some house of cards or something? I doubt it, but weird wording from Cody, kind of like AEW is a fly by night. In another breath he said no one was lazy enough to make AEW jokes, so.....weird.

Inflation is going out of control. My job bumped up pay awhile back which helped a lot, but watching all the extra money come out of the bank account is rough. I am even feeling it with shipping costs, which I was utilizing buying online to save on gas. woof.

I saw Cody was specific to say "personal reasons" is why he left AEW in the scrum last night. He also gave Tony Kahn props, of sorts. Interesting. I am happy for him that he got the kudos from Vince he had wanted, and fully brought his Nightmare persona to WWE. Pretty rare to get to do that.

Dem Boys are my new fave tag team after last night! Hope they show up Wednesday and cost the Bucks the match. We need Briscoes in ROH forever! Dem Boys are the heart of that company.

What kind of presentation of wrestling are they putting together there? There are tons of those listed that would be great additions, but it would matter what style they are going for. They did ban superkicks and destroyers so it might eliminate some. Wouldn't it behoove this collective's image of not "playing by the roolz" by guys immediately doing superkicks and destroyers? True. Good point. I never thought about it like that. I just assumed EC3 was proving a point to have a different style of wrestling and drawing eyes...

Wicked Wisdom sucked anyway. The one thing I will say other than amazing meme, is I actually enjoy Wicked Wisdom. Funny though, the similarities to their cover art and the A Perfect Circle second album art are interesting....
