Hey Steve, is there another way you guys can design the tassels on Ultimate Warrior figures? I find they come loose very easily, I've had a few lost in storage and the armband broke on my new Ultimate Edition 15 Warrior that I just got yesterday when I was trying to plug it back in. I get what you guys are going for with the articulation, but I'd rather have it be just one piece or maybe soft goods tassels like Jakks used to do.
The new Ultimate is a great figure though despite that. Warrior and Brock are two of my new favourite pieces in my collection!

Got my Ultimate Brock and Warrior yesterday. Both incredible figures, especially Brock. That might be my new favourite figure, crazy how realistic it is!
Only problem I have with Warrior is the tassles keep popping out and the left armband snapped when I was trying to plug the tassle back in. Bummer.

Rock and Roll Collectibles tend to have good deals on Legends Series They do great deals on damaged packaging figures too. I managed to get Legends Kane and RA Shawn for about £54 shipped - both damaged packaging. I'm a loose collector anyway, but still the boxes weren't mangled or anything. Nothing different to a figure that'd be on the shelf in a shop for a few weeks. |

I'm feeling a little bit better today so I went into town and bought a couple of new jumpers to wear for my new job. Also got some storage pieces I needed for my bedroom and a giant Halloween themed mug. It's been a nice day.

I've been hit with a really bad cold so I had to take the day off, but I've been able to spend the day lying on the sofa with the fire on binging Netflix (working my way through Gilmore Girls, Seinfeld and I just watched Airplane). Much better than sitting in an office.

I remember going to my local TRU not long before it closed and they STILL had Basic 31 Alberto Del Rio figures on the shelves at full price The horrors of the peg-warming Del Rio's. Those were dark days indeed. *shudders* There's department store in my own with a small toy section and they STILL have Flexforce Del Rio figures. |

I think a big problem with Toys R Us was that they hardly ever seemed to put anything on clearance, so stuff that wasn't selling would just hang around for ages (and take up shelf space that could have been used for things people actually want). The stores I used to go to were clogged up with Power Rangers figures from absolutely years ago, overpriced Yo-Kai Watch toys and dozens of Princess Peach amiibos no one wanted. Smyths is a lot better with that kind of thing - if something isn't moving, they'll gradually knock the price down until it's gone. It's pretty rare to see stuff from 2-3 years ago still hanging around in Smyths. Rhyno was the longest reigning World Champ in my federation. Doink, The Hurricane and Sandman were also all World Champs at some point.
I also remember The Highlanders being my top heel tag team and having a bloody feud with DX very late in my Jakks fed run... Except I didn't quite grasp that their name was a reference to the Scottish Highlands and kept the name but repackaged them as an Irish tag team. I used the one with hair as Sheamus and renamed the bald one to Paddy.

Recieved mine yesterday. The whole set is amazing, opening it was one of my favourite experiences in my entire time as a collector. One slight issue though, one of my posts is missing the piece that the turnbuckle hook connects to. Has anyone else had this issue? Luckily, the corners use the same mold as the Elite/Authentic Scale Ring so I was able to use my blue posts from the latter as a stand in. I ended up switching them all for the ASR posts as I preferred having tag ropes. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci2tA5Ns64u Pretty disappointing QC oversight from Mattel, but still I'm very happy with everything else. If it’s any consolation, the ASR posts are better scaled to the figures. They’re a few millimeters shorter than the New Gen posts. I hadn't actually noticed that until you pointed it out. I prefer the glossier look of the ASR ones anyway. |

Hi Steve, I recieved my New Generation arena yesterday and am absolutely in love with it, but one of my posts is missing the piece where the turnbuckle hooks on Is this a known issue with some of the sets, or a one off? I was lucky to have the blue posts from the Authentic Scale Ring which fits this one but I'd be worried for someone who doesn't own those ending up with the same issue. Aside from that, just wanted to say you guys knocked it out of the park! Can't wait to get Macho soon and for the next crowdfunder to happen! |
