2001 was the first Christmas I was really cognisant for so my parents went all out. They got me the WCW Nitro arena, the SmackDown Ovaltron, Backstage Mayhem and the Attitude ring as well as a Sting punching bag, WCW talking figures of Sting, Nash, Goldberg and DDP, a WCW Big Gold Belt toy, some TTLs and some loose Hasbros off eBay as stocking stuffers.
There's a photo on my hard drive of me and my grandad (who's no longer with us) playing with my new figures in the Attitude ring. I find it pretty hilarious since I've got a Hasbro Andre and he's got the massive talking Nash. Ah to be a kid and not care about the scale of my action figures like I do now lol.

Have anyone on here ever thought of doing a pic fed where it starts as a independent promotion. Then gradually turns into a smaller mainstream fed like TNA and ROH to then becoming a full blown mainstream promotion like WWE? That's sort of how my fed evolved, or at least how I perceived it anyways. Starting out, W3A was always an Indy fed which gradually grew in roster size, viewership and production value. I'd say Harrison's EWF is the closest to a WWE level fed, but W3A is definitely getting there. I'd say it's at NXT/AEW level right now haha. |

Had to go to the dentist to get a filling, I'm always a little worried going in but it was quick and relatively painless this time. Afterwards, I went out for dinner with my mum and brother then went to visit my friend in the evening.

What's the distribution of the network spotlight figures like? Want to get Jinder but not really wanting to spend £40 if he's going to end up in the entertainer etc at some point for £10. Asuka seems to be warming really hard from what I've seen. Not sure about the others. |

Bret Hart celebrating with Santa Claus after beating Shawn Michaels at the 1992 Survivor Series is a nice moment. Loved that as a kid, I used to think Bret and Santa were friends and every year I'd write to Santa asking if he could get me Bret's autograph lol.

Action Figure Attack , say hypothetically TRU were to make a comeback and you were allowed to choose one large playset that wouldn't have been possible at Walmart or Target due to shelf space, what would you go for? A ring? Backstage playset? Entrance stage? A classic interview set up like The Funeral Parlour or Barber Shop? Something different? Not based on what you think would sell successfully, but rather something you'd like to see yourself  I’d want the classic neon entrance. It’s never been done before and I think it’d get people really excited. Great choice! I really hope that could actually happen some day. |
