That's awesome, on all counts. Current sports entertainment is garbage anyways. Are you able to watch A/E stuff or does wwe network only show matches so you're safe? Like are there any ever cringe moments for you hahaha? C'mon - how'd you explain Adrian Adonis?  I can't even look at that picture I want these figs SO bad! I wants me some Harlem Heat - now can you dig that, Wal-Mart!!!!!!  ? Not much attitude era allowed with my son or wife around lol. She would go sour on the whole wrestling idea if she saw some of that stuff. She doesn't know wrestling at all besides what i watch with him which is 80's-early 90's. I watch all my attitude era footage when they aren't around haha. I don't think he has ever seen any Adrian Adonis either tbh. He kinda looses interest in the early-mid 80's stuff unless it's the main event type matches. He is just nearly 7 for the record and has watched with me for about 3 years. We started with wreslemania 1 and we are now up to about 1995/96 time. I'm running out of footage he will be allowed to see  I start with The Brawl to End It All, then The War to Settle the Score, then WM1, then The Wrestling Classic, then SNME #1 (the best program EVER lol) and then just follow hulk on out by snme and ppvs (sseries, rumble, kotr, sslam and not forgetting This Tuesday In Texas!) until Summerslam 93, then I'm out! When Hulk goes, I go! LOL so anything after that I don't even care about tbh That's my cycle, the Hogan years. Peeps can think or say what they want but to this day I have never EVER seen anyone rip a pre-match promo like Hogan. He  s a promo like a best friend's wife. He destroys it EVERY time. Even when he messes up a word he turns it to 11 and brings you right back - right to the point where you're drooling to see this match. Man being a kid in the 80's kicked ASS! I can't do WcW. I love the guys and everything, just it's a mess. Classic 80's wrestling (if on a smaller scale), then dungeon of doom CRAP (this time where Hulk WENT, I stayed) and the revolutionary nWo greatness then the decent into oblivion. I only give a rat's ass about Piper Hogan. That crap made WcW. They're return in reversed roles was the best ever of that. Good guy now bad, bad guy now good. Classic! I always remember Macho coming down on piper from the top of the cage. Blew my mind he didn't hurt himself. 80's WWF 44444444444 4 Life! Hit the music... |

It's because he knows I love them He wants who I want. He watches the network with me. Every time there's a match he asks me who I want to win just like I used to ask my dad when watching sports (my dad didn't watch wrestling). My son knows nothing of current wrestling. I used to be MOC but I figured paying all that money for boxes wasnt worth it to me so I open now to display. I do keep the elite boxes and cut the bubbles off the basics and keep the cards You sir, made the right choice! |

Now I am a moc collector & personally for me, I think of the package as part of the figure but I see on here that a lot of guys like to open them up & display loose which is also cool, I know it's a matter of personal preference & to each his own but doesn't that degrade the value MAJORLY if you ever decided to sell it?? Some people will buy 2 of the same figure so one can be moc & one loose but I just can't see that logic unless you're an adult who collects moc & you have children that wanna play with them so you buy another for them to open. Idk, there's just something about a figure that's loose that makes it lose its appeal to me, doesn't matter who it's of. 💩 I read HALF of this before I answered. I don;t collect these figs with ANY thought of what they'll be worth. Do as you do but I can't see the enjoyment of a box. I mean, you buy milk - you drink it, right? You don't keep in mint on carton do you? Plus you'll at get a nice surprise when the line is finished and there's an influx of all your boxed items on ebay and no wants to buy them cuz (you're greedy and) they cost too much money. * * not YOU you but the royal you Food for thought: if you can STILL find LJN figures MOC, you'll still be able to find these 20 yrs from now, people need to relax, they're JUST toys.  |

My favorite tag team of all time!! I've got them for a Christmas present from Santa to my son. I can't wait for him to open them I also just received a second set for me to keep moc. Nice collection man. So many memories with those LJN figures. Ahh the Nostalgia. MY first JYD and my 2nd was Roddy (and my fav!) then Brutus...after that I lose track. Had so many of them...loved those things. You could just abuse them lol Throw em, smash em... thumb wrestlers and bendies. The RING!!! Watching Rock n Wrestling... I laugh at JR every time he overpraises the attitude era. Surprised we never got a wwf cereal. Could have been awesome. Yellow hulk foam hands with the finger, macho man glasses, warrior symbols, money signs etc etc... |

Sgt Slaughter 91 winning the wwf title from warrior (hof fig as is but with helmet, sheiky headress and stick...oh and red elbow pads but that's not an acc lol) FLAIR 92 winning the rumble (same fig but with wwf title) Rowdy Roddy Piper 92 winning the IC title at the rumble wave 3 Razor Ramon WM 11 ladder match (same as released but black outfit, two ic titles and ladder) Ron Simmons winning the WCW Championship (maybe just wcw classic title and headband? Whatever, this is a dm if there ever was one too ? ? wave 4 Hollywood Hogan WM 17 Kurt Angle first euro-continental champion (or his first wwe title win) ? ? Etc, etc... That's the way this series should have played out. Then go all over the place from diff generations... I guess we have Hogan to 'blame' maybe for why the DM line is effed up....I dunno. |

Man I WISH I found that set...just a new series, please Lord...let something ship...this close to x-mas and the shelves are full of e39...I have no hope. I was thinking how crazy it is that we're about three weeks from Christmas and nobody is stocking anything new. Gonna be a lot of kids with Elite 32 Daniel Bryan, Mizdow, and Sid under their trees with a shrug and "we tried" from their parents. It's not even wwe. ALL the figs are junk. The same star wars, the female GB's are on CLEARANCE (haha silly bitches ain't gonna catch no ghosts!), the marvel has maybe one case of new legends (I managed to snag a hobgoblin last month, STILL looking for that damned Wolverine!) at EVERY store, the dc multiverse is CLOGGED to hilt with BvS figs (garbage figures for a garbage movie) and the turtles haven't had anything new except the TMNT II movie figures... it's just a WASTELAND at every store. There's nothing new out there...makes me think it's just time to grow up LOL |

Canada is suckin ass right now as far as figs go... I could not agree with you more. The Walmart near my place is CLOGGED, I MEAN CLOGGED, with elite Sid and elite Daniel Bryan. They are sitting on the shelf since summer. there are literally 10+ each. The only new figures we got is zombie series and elite legend series. This has indeed been an ugly year for Canadian collectors Wanna trade a rude or umaga or tyson kidd for a Magnum LOL? Cuz we didn't even get that Legends series in Ontario as far as I know ;( |

When he was Anchor an SNL, he closed weekend update always with the phrase "I'm Chevy Chase and your not" instead of saying 'I'm so and so, have goodnight or thanks for watching'. I used the quote to mean your you and I'm me. Well all like different things etc, etc. Oh ok I never used to watch SNL I loved his movies though.. It doesn't belong here but the man is a genius in physical comedy. Watch the new Vacation - it's very funny once it gets going but he's in it and him trying to get a guitar out of a cabinet - to he was the funnies part. I was cryin from laughing so hard. Love Chevy...now back to talking about figures of grown men fighting in their underwear. |
