This whole Harper saga HAS to eventually. Almost feels like he’s just taunting us at this point. If the Phillies really want to spend “stupid money” then they have to prove it. Make one final offer, 10 years for $340 million will get the job done. It’s long term and he beats Stanton by a decent amount, no way he says no.

Realmuto to the Phillies!!!! Phillies trade Sixto Sanchez, Jorge Alfaro, Will Stewart and int'l bonus pool money to the Marlins for all-star C J.T. Realmuto. J.T. is under team control for 2 years and is very cheap. $2.5M-$3M in 2019. Would not have traded Sixto. Obviously prospects are prospects, and nobody should be untouchable, but I had such high hopes for him, man. Maybe something came up with his injury issues that has the Phils concerned, in which case, the trade is a lot less scary for me. I’d rather have a proven player that’s top 3 at his position than a 20 year old pitcher that already has injury issues.

No idea why I see so many Sixers fans complaining about the Tobias Harris trade. Yeah you lose a high quality shooter in Shamet, but at the same time you’re solving your PF issue as well as adding a great backup center. Now you have a situation where if one of Jimmy or Tobias walks as a FA, you have the other as a kind of safety net. The positive far outweighs the negative in this trade for Philly. It’s a win for LAC too, they clear more cap space for a big FA in the offseason as well as add multiple draft picks for their future. Not to mention they add a known quality role player in Shamet. The Clips know that in their situation it’s way more worth it to build for the future than to push for a first round exit as a 6-8 seed. Great move for both teams. Very well put! Very fair trade, great move for Philly to go all in and a great trade for LAC to rebuild around. Anyone's game in the east now that the Raptors got a little bit of downlow help with Gasol. Shocked to see that but he's basically a matured, polished JV. The rest were good but filler. I’m ecstatic that the Raps traded JV. For some reason Embiid always has trouble against him when we play Toronto.

So sick of the wait on Harper. Thought today would be the day that something finally happens and still nothing. This is ing stupid. You really bought into that ‘MLB The Show’ crap? A video game isn’t going to break the news of a major signing in baseball. All signs are pointing to it. Just gotta wait. I don’t even think he’ll be announced before Spring Training. I was going by the Vegas stuff like IRS was. All signs may be pointing to it now but a mystery team can always swoop in and sign Harper. Phils desperately need to get a deal done before that happens.

It's hilarious that people get so worked up about this. Because it totally ruined Rusev. And Cesaro. And Big E. And Elias. And Andrade totally didn't just have an incredible match on Smackdown. But yea, those dastardly WWE higher ups are ruining wrestling this way. This. The people who are complaining will eventually forget they even changed his name in the first place.

So apparently Bryce Harper was a big fan of Gabe Kapler after his meeting with the Phillies. At least Kapler is useful for something.

Only at Foxborough. On the road in the playoffs the Patriots are as beatable as any other team. I love my Patriots but I'm not ready to give them the win against KC in KC. They're gonna have to earn it against a talented team with a good coach. There’s some truth to that as they’re much tougher at home but even then, anytime I watch a patriots game I always get that feeling that, no matter what, they’ll find a way to win Idk, Andy Reid seems to have their number since he’s been in KC. Beat them @ Gillette in the opener last year and they needed a field goal as time expired to beat him there in the regular season this year. This is the highest chance the Pats have had at not making it to the Super Bowl since Denver beat them in 2015.

Lmfaooo people are actually saying to keep Foles and trade Wentz. Wentz is the better QB and it’s not even close tbh. Acting like the team plays better under Foles like they didn’t go 11-2 with Wentz healthy last year, and would’ve won 3 straight with Wentz before Foles came in if the refs didn’t screw them over in Dallas. Y’all are crazy but I’m really too tired to debate this any further right now 🤣🤣🤣

Goodbye Dallas, looks like that’s 3 playoff wins in 23 years now.

Welp....this could be big. Source reports the face to face between Harper and the Phillies is basically to put ink on the contract. And the meeting will also coincide with reveal of the official final cover of MLB The Show 19. Same guy broke the Cano suspension. And DeMarco Murray signing with the Eagles a day or two before it happened. I'm still treading lightly but a little excited. If he signs here, since he is the cover athlete, I'm buying The Show for the first time since TS14. Where did you see this? Can’t find it anywhere.

And now Westbrook has 20 assists with some Ferguson guy for OKC shooting 7-8 from 3. Meanwhile SA is now 15-16 from 3. Kind wish I saw more of this game but these 5 minutes or so I’ve seen is super entertaining. Didn’t get to see this one but just seeing a final score of 154-147 tells me how crazy this game was.

TFW the race for Machado is reportedly down to the Phillies and White Sox. Which means he’s pretty much guaranteed to sign with Chicago.

Was Seattle TRYING to throw that game? Taking one of the best playmakers in NFL history until they’re in a 2 minute offense is inexcusable. Why the hell would anyone run a TE on a screen with no blockers on 3rd and 17? Seems like every single offensive snap was a run or screen. Some of the worst offensive play calling I’ve ever seen on Seattle’s end. That and the multiple 3rd down DPI penalties cost Seattle the football game.
As much as I hate to say it, the Cowgirls were the better team and 100% deserved to win that game. Dak had a solid showing and did just enough for them to win while Zeke went off like always. Prayers up for Allen Hurns, really hope it wasn’t as bad as it looked because stuff like this can lead to amputation being necessary.
Houston lost like I expected them to, but I didn’t think they would get embarrassed the way they did. Indy exposed every flaw they had on offense and defense and could’ve won the game by a lot more than they did. Everything is coming together at the exact right time for this Colts team. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they beat Kansas City next week. I could realistically see Indy in the Super Bowl this year. Maybe a rematch with New Orleans?

Cowherd. Ever since he bashed Eddie Guerrero after Eddie died, I've had no respect for him. Can't stand Nick Wright. On the other hand, I love Kyle Brandt. His excitement in the Super Bowl run last year was amazing. He did the same thing when Sean Taylor died. He’s a bum, clown, and loser in every sense of the word.

Max Kellerman- Don’t really hate him , I just think he’s not very bright. Says a lot of dumb sh*t and is usually wrong about everything. Jason Whitlock + Damien Woody + Cris Carter (as a journalist not as a player)- grouped them together because I hate them for the same reasons. Always have to make everything about race when that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Can’t stand watching them and so many others because of this. Joe Buck- Don’t really hate him either, he’s just boring and doesn’t seem to put in that much effort to sound entertaining. When he does he’s not bad. Will Cain- Just comes off as a total douche. Not a single likeable character trait. Nick Wright- Never seen somebody ride an athlete the way this guy rides LeBron. He’s not the only one, but he’s the most annoying one. Colin Coward (spelled it that way on purpose)- He’s a clown. At least people like Skip Bayless are entertaining because they’re obvious trolls, but Cowherd comes off as completely serious and seems to genuinely believe whoever doesn’t agree with his opinion is an idiot and treats them as such. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the guy be right about anything. Has a massive ego and even the set of his show proves that. He’s up on his big podium while the guest sits alone on the couch 20 feet away from him as he looks down on them. He’s obviously very biased toward LA sports teams and drinks the “Every free agent at big trade target to LA” kool aid. Oh and his comments about Sean Taylor were ing disgusting. Loved seeing Baker Mayfield put his dumb ass in his place. Would love to see somebody else do the same.

In hindsight it was when my biological mother left when I was around 14 or 15. Being the oldest of three kids in my family, my responsibilities kinda doubled. When I realized it for the first time was when I got my first job.
