None of the new AEW sets have hit the Triad yet. I'm on the hunt for the chase Phil and Swerve. The ROH Punk set has hit. Picked up regular Punk last night in Burlington Target |

I ordered my Flair 8/15/23. Not sure if that was early or late. But I still have no shipping notification Hopefully soon. Can’t wait to get it Good to know I’m not the only one. I just bought 5 shell type things made to fit Jakks Classic Superstars They fit most of the typical non Classic Superstars RA stuff also from that time period, it looks like
They aren’t as good as a Defender case but they are pretty decent
Ordered from The Toy Bunker, just received them a couple days ago, finally put my first 2 signed figs in them today. Look good

I just bought 5 shell type things made to fit Jakks Classic Superstars They fit most of the typical non Classic Superstars RA stuff also from that time period, it looks like
They aren’t as good as a Defender case but they are pretty decent

Got my Duke today. This my first G & G figure, and I have to say I like it a lot. I would like it to have a little shine too, but still I’ll take it.
Very pleased with it, and I wasn’t expecting to be honestly

Losing Flair, IF they did lose Flair, hurts the most for me

Then others that were in that pre Jakks time like Farooq Asad, Goon. Kama, Sycho Sid, etc
I’ll buy most of what they put out, but they should be capitalizing on Hasbro style being red hot, putting out more than just the handful a year that they are

according to Bray Wyatt’s dad (IRS) WWE put Bray under a legends contract so hopefully that means Mattel gets those UE and GH figures out asap I would love a Greatest Hits of his Elite 54 figure Great news that he’s under a deal now (or still?) |

Current roster slotted in has not had a good track record Rousey, Balor and Nakamura about killed the line Both Brays, Alexa were and still are huge shelfwarmers (and from the looks of it RSC can’t give the latest Bray and Bliss away) AJ warmed, Orton will (Top Picks and the last Elite looked just like it and the warmed like no other last year) Belair, Lashley, Asuka, Sami, KO will as well I bet There are exceptions of course Rollins, Brock, Edge, Roman, Cody - but those are heavy hitters This line needs to focus on old school looks and big names to flourish By this logic, at least 75% of WWE figures shouldn't be made. I'm so tired of having this debate with people that WWE should focus on legends. They're not going to. Ever. Legends are exclusives. That's how they were back in the collectors edition Era. They're still exclusives now. They will never stop being exclusives. Mattel and WWE are focused on trying to promote the current product in every way possible. Part of promoting that is putting out merchandise of current talent. They're never going to stop having their focus being current talent with legends second as long as the company is still putting on current shows. I genuinely don't know why this argument is continuing and, for the record, some of us really do like the current product. In fact, if the numbers for shows like Mania and the recent oversees PLEs are any indication, there are a LOT of people who like the current product. Legends collectors, even if they are the majority of wrestling figure collectors, are a fraction of the entire WWE fanbase. Them putting out three main event Mania figures the year after it happened isn't going to kill the line nor will it make them consider a change in strategy. Sorry No, I’m strictly talking the Ultimate Edition line Elite line, I think going all out with current is great. I’m just saying the current figures are geared more towards kids, whose parents are already shelling out $24 for an Elite. I just think the $35 price point is geared more towards adult collectors And, I do enjoy the current product l, so I’m not one of those It’s honestly fine, less for me to buy. Just want to see the line thrive, and not get backlogged with current guys with $10+ less Elites sitting on the shelf that will probably sell first |

I'm gonna need a citation on this notion you seem to have that most collectors across the world (and not just the ones on this board) only want legends figures. I didn't say ALL but I did say most. Most action figure collectors are in their 30s and 40s. The sweet spot is from Hulkamania to Ruthless Agression. There should be at least one legend in every main line release. I know on here a lot of people are anti current stars but i would love to see some come back. I know there are many legends left depending who's under contract. I started watching in the late 80's so have the hasbro era in me too but with such an amazing roster of stars at the minute are we missing something special? Bloodline? Judgement Day? Firefly pack (bray,fiend,uncle howdy,bliss) not to mention cody,cm punk,drew, rey, logan paul and more, . I have collected all the retros to this point but am not convinced by the upcoming wrestlemania 1 set tbh. Dont get me wrong im not saying stop legends in anyway but how could any of the sets mentioned no be on fire and sell. If someone said to me firefly set of retros or that wrestlemania 1 set? I know it went wrong before with current stars but thats because they were all random midcarders no one cared about. All wrong choices. A mix of the two would do well or better yet bring in an extra set each year. Plus we are getting so many of the missing legends all over the place from so many companies that mattel dont have. We know only mattel can put out the current superstars. They had some duds last time around. But to me, thet had some great figures of current stars. Cena, Roman, Brock, Orton, New Day, DB come to mind I would love to get some current roster made Retro style |
