Well, I have a feeling my wife bought me Takeover tickets for Christmas...
The other evening, I went over to her on the couch just to tell her I was putting dinner in the oven. I lean down to kiss the top of her head, and I see her phone with a stub hub page open on the screen, and the initials NXT. I say 'Oops' and quickly dart into the kitchen. She giggles. After I set the oven, I hear her fooling with her purse. Finally, she tells me: 'Well, I finally finished your Christmas gifts.' She won't say anything outright, and I don't want to wreck a surprise. Though I'm fairly certain we'll need a hotel for two nights.

Alright, the 360 version finally has a patch...and the Asuka Lock still doesn't do any damage. What the  . Nothing really as far as game play mechanics, but rather things like Lilian announcing a guy's title in the middle of his weight. Also, I am miffed that the Blonds are mismatched. I assumed they didn't have a prop-assisted entrance this year, until I stumbled upon it in creations. Still, for me, they are announced as the "Extreme Superstar & Loose Cannon...The Hollywood Blonds!" Does it do that on yours? No, I set Pillman 1st so I get "The Loose Cannon Brian Pillman and the Extreme Superstar Steve Austin...The Hollywood Blonds!" Well, still... At least it's not just me. |

Well, I don't know what clicked, but using Brie Bella vs. Sasha Banks seemed to awaken the Move Thief ability, to finally unlock the last alt attire I needed. Now I have a fully unlocked disc, and I'm happy to just play around with the on-disc content as is. Being a Last-Gen guy, I have the luxury of being blissfully happy with the game itself. It's new, yet familiar enough to pick up and play without missing a beat. In one game, we have AJ Styles in his WWE video game debut, Samoa Joe, both MSG and the ECW arena to play matches in, Diesel, Razor, Hall & Nash as separate playable characters, my favorite tag team (Hollywood Blonds), and a whole host of WWE & WCW early-to-mid 90s guys, including debut Taker (my favorite version). Plus, this is the first time, going back to the THQ days, that I'm playing with the women as much as I am the guys. I'm choosing to see what I believe are positives. If this truly is the final "last-gen" WWE game, well, they went out on top, in my opinion. Do you not have the same issues as me? Because the game is kinda broken due to various moves not doing damage, I don't even want to play as Sasha or Charlotte because their submissions finishers can't submit anyone! I've noticed that strong strikes are basically just as powerful as finishers sometimes and I've lost several matches that ended quite abruptly. Also, it's annoying how so many alternate attires didn't return, as Stunning Steve can't match Pillman because they only brought back the Dragon Slayer attire. Okay, now I am seriously stumped. Thanks to the patience of my wife, I only have one last item to unlock in the game...The Rock's Alt attire. I can use the move thief ability no problem. However, when it appears I've done it at least 30 times per match, the official counter says I've only done three successfully. Is this a glitch, or am I genuinely missing a step to make each one count. I would appreciate any help, because not only am I close to unlocking the whole disc, but I really want this other Rocky attire in the game. I'm on the 360 version. Thank you!

I finally got the other arenas unlocked. I just had to spend the time simulating the crap out of the calendar on Universe mode. Took me all afternoon.

Okay... I'm on 360, and I have almost everything unlocked, aside from the extra arenas. However, the Universe story designer has me stumped. How does it work? I'd love to unlock the old-school arenas, so if any last-gen'ers could be of help, I'd appreciate it. TIA!

Just went on 2K Forums and found for last gen, you just have to win a bunch of matches. About 108 to unlock the rest of the roster, and perform tasks during those matches for certain other unlockables. Still waiting on UPS.

I'm having my copy delivered tomorrow, but if anyone using 360 can confirm how you unlock things before then, I would appreciate the info. Thanks! Not playing on the 360, but the system seems like it would be the same for last gen. All the unlockables are in the shop and can be bought with VC. Regular exhibition matches and universe mode matches both give VC depending on how many stars your match is rated. Just played an elimation chamber match and that filled to 5 stars pretty fast, so that seems like a good way to grind for VC if you need to. I appreciate the input, but I don't think 360 uses the star system for matches, unless things have changed this year. That's why I'm interested in hearing from a 360 user exactly how unlockables work via currency. I'll find out before 5 pm today, but if anyone knew for sure beforehand, I wouldn't mind knowing. I pre-ordered WWE 2K17 (just the game) with Amazon Prime, so both it, and the new Ghostbusters Blu-Ray would be delivered on release day (tomorrow). I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid, but I haven't gotten any shipping confimation yet. It tells me: "Arriving tomorrow by 8 pm" as well as "Shipping soon", with no way to tell if it's actually shipping to arrive on time. This is the first time I've used Prime to get something the day it's out. Is this usually the practice? TIA for any info!

I'm thinking the third party might be Dixie's billionaire parents, giving her the final loan they will. Egging her to get rid of the money pit that has been TNA. Vince buys the tape library, and certain contracts. Corgan then stats his own company (when legally able), negotiating with Pop for a new TV deal and keeps the other contracts that Vince didn't buy. Those that don't want to work for Corgan then try their hands with ROH.
