I just had an idea for either a DLC Showcase Mode, or an on-disc Showcase for next year. It would probably work as DLC though, due to any extra characters needed.
A Ric Flair WWE Career Spotlight.
It would begin with Flair winning the 1992 Rumble match, and the title. His loss to Savage at WM 8, with the subsequent regaining on Prime Time Wrestling, as well as the loss to Bret Hart in Saskatoon.
Jump forward to WM X-8 versus Undertaker, continuing on up through Evolution, and capping off the mode with his final WWE Match versus HBK at WM 24.

I met Tyson a few days before the New Year of 2001. Pre-tattoo, pre-shaved head. Bumped into him at the local mall. He was mobbed while shopping. I sidled to the front of the crowd, and offered my hand for a handshake. He looks at me, says - "Hey man, how you doin'?", grabs my hand, and pulls me into this awkward man-hug with his arm across my chest. Too bad smartphones didn't exist yet. It would've made for a great photo. After about ten seconds, he let me go. I quickly grab the only piece of paper I have on me - a dollar bill. I give it to him, he signs it with someone else's pen, and gives it back to me. It all happened so fast. I thanked him, and ran off like Charlie with the Golden Ticket.
I told the story to my mom, and she said - "Now, no matter how broke you may be in life, you'll always have at least one dollar to your name." ...and I still do.

His suitcase would be heavy as hell Yeah...and if you read Jericho's first book about the headaches of airport security as Undisputed Champion, just imagine it with three title belts.

I thought Johnny Ace was gayer than Christmas.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm still holding out hope for Piper & Mr. Perfect. It'd be cool to have a Perfect/Axel father-son tag team.

Grew up in CT...about 25 minutes away from Titan Towers. A trip to the pediatrician meant a ride past the WWF building.
Now? The Palm Beach, FL area.

This was a packed card - I think most, if not all, of my opponent/stip predictions were spot on. A little disappointed that Jushin Liger didn't win, but I know he'll have plenty of other opportunity. Can't really complain about anything. Great set-up show for Survivor Series. Bring on Razor vs. Vader.

The Vaudevillains??? SOLD! I'm getting this. No matter how many tag belts are unlockable, they'll be holding them all in my game.

What? Why would you rather stay on ps3 or x 360 than to upgrade? I understand if you can't afford the switch but to make a conscious choice to stay on a system where new releases are getting scarce is weird Because I'm really not much of a gamer beyond what I've been playing for years, and what I'm used to. Besides, as the technology grows, the tougher it'll be for me to grasp.

He says - "Obviously you can skip that, and just play the video game." Can you? Or would it be necessary to play through to unlock characters? Without the Accelerator I'd imagine you would have to unlock stuff like every year. He just means "Oh you don't want to play as the Legends? Just play as the normal guys in Exhibition" sort of thing. Gotcha, thanks. I'll most likely get this game, as it's the last WWE game for XBOX 360, and I have no intention of upgrading. I have (and still play with) Nintendo consoles from NES to N64. I'm old school that way. I ended up with a 360, simply because my sister's then-boyfriend refused to believe I didn't own a modern-day console. He insisted I take his extra red-ring repaired machine. I ended up trading in WWE 12, WWE 13, and Legends of WM, because to me, WWE 2K14 was perfect (Like I said, I'm old school). But the enlarged roster and getting to play with NXT guys is icing on the cake.

I'm a lot more courteous with signs today, than I was back in the early 2000s. At WWE shows then, as long as I was low enough that a camera could conceivably catch me, I would wave a sign constantly. If someone complained, I'd stop and put it away. This was due to being spoiled by the small TV arenas where I'd get my face on TNN and PPV for the original ECW pretty easily.
Today, I've been lucky that I have a fiancee that takes me to live WWE TV when it's in town, and of all the events, our worst seats were lower level facing the camera. I had my hand made Bryan poster taken away, as although we were on the floor at Hell In The Cell '13, I would've blocked the hard camera with it. Other than that, I've waved that poster whenever Bryan was in the ring, and put it away the rest of the show. Caught it on TV a couple of times that way.
Beyond that, I'd rather just enjoy the show. Just remember: Right time, for a purpose, and only that purpose. Otherwise, it's rude.
