So, I'm okay with the roster. I'm disappointed there's no Scott Hall. I was really hoping for him. I'm happy that it seems like we're gonna get an ECW arena and a WCW arena. That's rad. I'm kind of upset we aren't getting the NXT Women, but, I don't play as Divas anyway so, not TOO upset. Finally, I don't give a about Los Matadors. Actually, we're getting the ECW Arena (Swanson/Rittner), which I'm beyond stoked about. I wonder if we're getting a Clash of the Champions arena though. I can't get over how we're getting Surfer Sting and Stunning Steve. Plus, who would've thought that Mikey Whipwreck would be playable in a WWE game? With all the eclectic names in one game, I'm glad this is the 360 swan song, because I'll never want to stop playing. Sorry... Excited rambling.

Quick question...
Going down the list again, I don't see a render on the page for ECW Austin, although I definitely see a screen shot. Will he be playable?

So, okay...after a busy morning, I've finally had time to let the final roster reveal sink in. I may only have one of my three boyhood heroes included, but on top of everyone else announced, the fact that I get to play with Surfer Sting, as well as both Stunning AND Superstar Steve Austins... Plus I have my two favorite tag teams in the game (Hollywood Blonds & Vaudevillains). I have no right to complain about the roster now. Thank you 2K. Glad I pre-ordered last night.

Stunning Steve? I KNEW IT!!!! I can live without Piper & Perfect with a roster this stacked.

Well, thanks to some generous future SILs giving me Amazon Gift Cards as early birthday gifts (it's on the 25th), I now have officially pre-ordered the game. Now I really can't wait!

Call me a sucker, but I believe they'll go for the "third times a charm" philosophy, and have Bryan shock everybody by returning in the match, and finally winning the thing.
Also, I'm calling it now: Sami Zayn makes his return to action, and his true start on the main roster, as another surprise entrant.

I was just watching my favorite Clash of the Champions episode on the Network. It had then occurred to me that if they wanted to give us a big surprise that was realistic, what if they gave us the blond-haired Stunning Steve? You can argue that 'Stunning' - in gimmick and move set - was a whole other character from Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I feel like the reveal we got for this week would have been last if they didn't have anything else special planned. A lot of people got excited for a least one of the surprises they had in store. I'm gonna guess Owen will be in. That would definitely be a hell of a surprise. But I agree, I think we're in for a name we didn't expect, come Monday.

I love the continuing saga of Steve Austin in your WWF. Have you decided whether or not you'll give him the 'Stone Cold' name? Can't wait for Survivor Series. Very good week for Raw.

I just want Roddy Piper and Mr. Perfect on-disc, then it'll be a perfect roster for me. Even if they don't make the cut, I can still have a lot of fun with this game once everyone's unlocked. NXT guys versus legends. Oh, and Colossal Connection, baby!
Oh... I just visited that official roster page. Including the question mark blanks, I count a total of 125 slots. Did they increase the roster even more? Or does that mean nothing?

WWE Legends Deal. Hall of Fame induction. Sporadic TV appearances as a WWE Ambassador, like Hogan used to do. Won't have to wrestle again, if he doesn't want to.

Aside from wrestling, I was all about Ghostbusters. Still am.

Just the shear number of "monsters" alone: Brock, Haku, Vader, Andre, Big Show, etc... is awesome. I may not get two out of my three favorite legends, but I'll have my favorite tag team since Austin & Pillman, The Vaudevillains. With NXT guys and a wide variety of different legends, this will be a keeper.

I sincerely doubt AJ Lee will be in the game, on-disc or DLC. She's Punk's wife, and they're almost at the point of eracing her title legacy.

Forgive me if this is a completely dumb question... However, have there been any differences announced in what's included mode-wise from XB1/PS4 to 360/PS3? I know the NXT mode in 2K15 was exclusive to last-gen. Anything like that this year?

Why can't I see the new roster reveals on IGN's site? I refresh and reload, and all I get are last week's. I've slowly been piecing things together from this thread, but I'd love to know a full list from today. I have a feeling no Piper or Perfect yet.
*EDIT* - Found them. Dude Love, Vader, and Haku are my favorites from this week. Twenty left in one final reveal. C'mon Roddy Piper & Mr. Perfect. Fingers crossed!

I just had an idea for either a DLC Showcase Mode, or an on-disc Showcase for next year. It would probably work as DLC though, due to any extra characters needed. A Ric Flair WWE Career Spotlight. It would begin with Flair winning the 1992 Rumble match, and the title. His loss to Savage at WM 8, with the subsequent regaining on Prime Time Wrestling, as well as the loss to Bret Hart in Saskatoon. Jump forward to WM X-8 versus Undertaker, continuing on up through Evolution, and capping off the mode with his final WWE Match versus HBK at WM 24. I'd love that if they could include everybody from that 92 Rumble, but as of now they couldn't even show the finish. Yeah, I realized, as I was falling asleep last night, that Hogan was integral to the finish. Maybe the opening video package could highlight his coming into the company, battling Piper halfway into the Rumble, and celebrating alone in the ring as he won.
