Looks great man. Much better than spam stuff. Razor wire is a nice touch. Would love to get my hands on some of this.
I see you mention your artist. What is it your artist does for you?
I have to say man my favorite part of your posts is that you always have a pic of yourself playing. And you always look like a kid on Christmas.

We are here to encourage each other for sure! Since you love WCW, the one after the one I post on Tuesday I think will be right up your alley. But yeah we need to comment on superb work. Like I said to Warsman on another thread, anyone can repaint a Mattel figure or switch a head. What we do is something beyond the call of duty and we need to to acknowledge each other. Believe it or not I was not a big WCW fan growing up. I was hardcore WWF through and through. But I would watch it if nothing else was on. After they went defunct I became nostalgic for it a bit though.

This one was on my to-do list as well but now I will not even try. Awesome! How do you do all those ring skirts, mats? That is something I am interested in doing but I would have no idea where to start. Do you sew them yourself? You know...I am new to this whole customizing thing. I try to do the things no one else is doing usually but no one has done a Wargames enviroment ring set. You are to be commended. And really EVERYONE that sees this, SHOULD comment. Do you know WHY some of us post in the Mattel section? Because not many people comment here so we figure not many have seen our stuff and try to get a wider audience. It is NOT to piss off that forum, it is to get more comments. So don't be a wallflower. Get your fingers dirty and give props to Naparo. Join in the discussion. Us customizers thrive on your comments. This is why we do this. Not just for us, but we share our creations for you guys too. You owe it to us and yourselves to comment, especially when stuff like this is done. A wargames set will NEVER be done by Mattel. So show a little love huh? Naparo, I salute you! You certainly have inspired me to do more. I sew my own ring skirts, canvases, and turnbuckle covers. I have made these items as well as ring ropes and a whole slew of items since 2005. You may want to check out my gallery of my collection of ring set ups. sites.google.com/site/ringskirts/ringskirtphotoalbumWow hobgoblin. Thank you for the very encouraging, kind words. And thanks for trying to energize the Custom Accessories board both with your call for support of worthy posts and your recent contributions with your amazingly professional sets and accessories. I truly believe that if more folks like you, The Warsman, and myself continue to post some of the gold that we have that we can breath new life into this corner of the boards. And you are right, I don't think other WF'ers realize how much we truly due appreciate the comments and feedback on the forums. It really does motivate us to work harder, and produce bigger and better works. Thanks again for your kind words.

So far looking great Wars. I know you will do it right! You have made so many great creations over the years that have benefited so many collectors with your great print outs. I am sure this new style set will be worthy of the Wars brand. How about your new background printout. WIll you be making that available? Of course! Unless I go a different route. I might try to use light blue and grey poster board folded and glued in place. But if I go the Photoshop route, I'll post it. Wars Thanks bud but i meant your new crowd background file.

This does not shock me that it looks factory made or that it is top notch work because Nap is truly the best at what he does! What I will always enjoy about your action shots Nate, is that you not only get the project you are showing off down, bur you perfect the feel of that time period. An example is, I feel like I am looking at the most authentic WCW experience next to the actual show! Once again, a thing of beauty! Thanks so much for the wonderful complement Eric.

This is the coolest thing I have ever seen on this board...completely blown away! How much would you charge to do this to fit two basic mattel rings?? I would pay good money! I don't have 2 basic rings so I can't get the proper measurements. But for the work and materials that goes into it for the RSR I would want at least 250.

Now do the 3 rings!! Seriously though that is all kinds of awesome, personally don't much like the look of more than one ring but for what the concept is you pulled it off near perfectly. Excellent job on that one. I would definitely do World War 3 set up. But they all wont fit on my table! I also don't think i have enough WCW figures from any one era to complete the match. Actually as a kid growing up i did WW3 matches from time to time with my hasbros (blue ring, KOTR, and generic ring). long before the match even existed.

I can highly recommend naparo on here for ring ropes and custom ring skirts. Not sure if he does them to fit anything smaller then the ESR/RSR but its worth asking. Ive had several sets of ropes and ringskirts from him for my ESR. Think his username is naparo01 Thanks bud. Yeah I have ropes. Just tell me the length you want them cut to and I can hook you up. Send me a PM.

IMO the mattel bassic rings are quite small for the figures but the construction seems quite nice.

I cannot wait to do my own steel cage. Yours is one to beat. It looks crisp and clean. Almost as if it were actually put together by a toy company. I have a few ideas of what I wanna do though for mine but I will not get to it for a long time. Wow. As if it were put together by a toy company. Can't think of a better complement. Thanks sir.

I don't know why the Dugan sculpt but i am guessing they went against the discus punch body as the cloth shirt would probably interfere with the action? possibly. I never really thought of that. If that were the case, they still could have found a better sculpt. Though I think it's incredibly over used, perhaps the press slam from figs like hulk 1, sid, bulldog, warrior 2, warlord, and animal. Well think about it. After doing the Huss. Everyone knows Berzerker always liked to give a big thumbs up! Huss hoooooooo

Custom WWE Referee A little thing i threw together using the HBK WM ref as a base. Used Ted JR. head and painted the hair black to differentiate him a bit. Nice to have mattel scale generic ref. Elite 20 Christian Flashback As I am sure RSC TOm would say. "This figure totally reeks of awesomeness!" What more could you want form an attitude era Christian: goofy large glasses, long hair, cloth mesh shirt, bright tight. Worthy of a 5 second pose. My only disappointment, and this is nit picking and could be perfectly accurate are the boot designs. They are only on the right sides of the boots? Anyone know if that is accurate? Comment me. Elite 21 Rey Mysterio I don't often buy and open new Rey figures as I have been fine with his first release but I wanted to get a version of him with his gear wearing a shirt. NOt a huge fan of the rubber shirts but for the sleeveless flop style it is fine. Ryback character and this figure screams FEED ME MORE! Finish it!! Love the detail on the singlet. And of all the figs in E21 I have to say I think Mattel has improved there joints making them more easily poseable and with point that are not too loose or tight. AJ Lee Love her attire. Not a huge fan of the head sculpt but it is good enough. The boots are well done. Don't care for the chunky bracelets but but I appreciate the effort and attention to detail. Love these smaller diva knee pads. Flashback Honkey Tonk Man If you know me you know I am a fan of the classic figs. But I have to say I was not super excited for another HTM. IMO we had plenty from Jakks. But this one has its charm. I like the head. Love the chubby body type for him. The jumper is nice and detailed but a bit hard to put on and remove. The guitar, as mentioned in my previous post, is one of the best guitars in wrestling figure history and I love the breaking action. But the handle of the guitar is week and would be more functional if it did not break off. Also very difficult to reassemble and to keep from falling apart. RSC Exclusive Stone Cold Steve Austin I didn't really need a third SCSA Mattel figure but I did want the belts. The figure it self is fine. Nothing much different from past versions of him. Has double knee braces. Not a fan of the head sculpt mostly because of the way that it sits on the head peg. I appreciate that they gave him his vet with red text to differentiate him from his past releases. But the selling point for me as I said were the belts. What can I say. Mattel hits it out of the park with their belts. These two golden gems made me very satisfied with my purchase. Also if you are interested in more looks at my brand new custom steel cage for the Mattel ESR, check out my other thread in custom accessories! wfigs.proboards.com/thread/281747/naparo01s-custom-elite-steel-cage?page=1&scrollTo=5657675
