I had an ace time when I won tickets to the Wembley show in 2012. Took my dad along with me to I his first wrestling show. One of a couple of reasons I'll be sad to see the he company disappear (not that I've followed them since 2013).

Look how tiny he is in that goal. Himmy! And this guy escapes a ban how?! I wouldn't say it's a bannable offence as taker was clearly the provocateur and it's simply insane repeatedly posting pictures of children on a message board. While I don't agree with the responses (and I've deleted them) I think if you're putting that crapout there for everyone to see then you're asking for comments, but yes consider this a warning. It's best to just stay out of it. Anyway, case closed. taker is banned... Let's hope he stays that way this time.

It's just bizarre, I'm not sure why he ever posted random pictures of his child (I hope it's his child) on here.
As we were gentlemen.

The Lord of the Rings TrilogyUsually I'd do indivudal reviews for each film even in a trilogy but LOTR is such a continuous story I felt there was little point. When I was younger I hated Fellowship, enjoyed Two Towers and adored Return of the King. How things have changed. I absolutely loved Fellowship this time around. Amazing start to the trilogy, fantastic groundwork laid and way more gripping than I can remember. I really enjoyed this movie, probably more so than the sequels this time around. Two Towers however really ruined the trilogy for me. I found the first half so incredibly boring, such a slog. Fortunately the battle of Helm's Deep is so incredibly awesome it makes up for it and those scenes really had me feeling tense. The Urak Hai and Orcs are genuinely scary in this movie and the atmosphere in this battle is just awesome. Absolutely incredible. I remember enjoying this movie a lot more when I was younger so it's a shame it didn't click with me at all this time around. Return of the King was the movie I was most excited to see again out of the three simply because I loved it as a kid. I remembered fantastic battle scenes and non stop action throughout... Now I'm not sure if Two Towers killed off the trilogy for me, but once again I found parts of Return of the King a slog. Some great battle scenes of course and a great ending to movie giving viewers closure to an epic story. However I just found parts of it silly and rushed, such as when the army of the undead swept through Sauron's army. Still a cool movie and tense at times but sadly not the movie I remembered. An epic trilogy of course, aesthetically amazing and brilliant storytelling but it falls flat in parts and becomes a slog. The Good, The Bad & The UglyOne of the greatest movies ever made. Simple as. The storytelling in this movie is amazing. A slow build but action packed at the same time. I love a good western and the scenery and cinematography blew me away. Clint Eastwood delivers Blondie's lines the way only Clint can and he remains charming despite being a complete bad ass outsmarting everyone standing in his way. Absolutely love the character of Tuco, truly a rat whose greed has no limits, and of course the sinister Angel Eyes makes for a great dynamic of characters and interesting individual stories. Those final scenes are tense, exciting and very rewarding. The culmination of an amazing build up that left you with plenty of questions answers them quickly leaving no prisoners. Brilliant stuff. Fight ClubSuch a fan of David Fincher's and this film is always a cracker of a watch. Meaningful and witty dialogue that really makes you think or scratch your head and fantastic performances from Edward Norton and Brad Pitt make this film a classic. The gritty scenery is compelling as are the characters. The film needs no explaination and I mean how would you explain it anyway? It's barmy. Some amazing shots and it just oozes cool. A product of the 90's, but an all time great.

There's a new TRU open on Queen Street in Cardiff if you're local. No idea what they have as I haven't been in and don't collect but thought I'd mention it! Does make me tempted to run in and spend a load of money though!

Bagged Korn/Limp Bizkit for Cardiff on December 18th! Always wanted to see LB live and Korn blew me away last time I saw them. Turning out to be a very, very busy December gig wise now! I'm actually hoping nobody else I like announces any shows around then haha. Hopefully WWE in Cardiff in November, possibly ICW and that's a wrap for the year. For some reason November and December is always hectic for shows Which is the worst time for it as you end up spending more money on over-priced pints of Coke and band shirts when you should be buying people Christmas presents :[ Limp Bizkit are hella fun live though! Seen them at Download a couple of times Tell me about it man. I keep thinking "ah well, at least I'm paying for the gigs now and not December" but that's forgetting all the beer I'm going to drink at the venues haha. Ah well! Good to have plenty lined up, but it has to be someone special now for me to book anymore for December.
