Hello Steve, is there a strong chance to get a new Elite Jimmy Uso that matches Elite 90 Jey Uso? Also, now that Toni Storm has left WWE, have the chances of pumping out an Elite figure gone down the drain? Thank you.
A new Jimmy Elite is of course possible at some point.
There unfortunately won’t be an Elite Toni unless she returns to the company in the future.
I thought it was said that 2021 figures and onward, all male figures would have double jointed arms? Why is this not the case? It doesn’t make sense that E88 Riddle has them yet Rey in the same wave does not. That’s just an example, but this is disappointing.
It does make sense since it’s a gradual rollout. Rey will have double jointed arms very soon.
Here’s the original info about double jointed elbows.
Of course we knew this Roddy fig would really resonate with longtime fans. The scarcity was really due to these living as open stock on planogram (each figure with it’s own dedicated peg). In stores with smaller toy sets one fig might get nixed from plano due to space limitations and in this case it was the Nada figure unfortunately. I’m hopeful we can find a way to get some more out there before the line totally wraps up next year.
Same. Huge wants for me would be LOD with removable should pads, a better Rick Rude, a long tights Macho King with crown and scepter, heel Jake the Snake (in either the blue flame or black flame tights), a Natural Disasters Earthquake, Tugboat, Rhythm and Blues Greg Valentine, a Hart Foundation Jim Neidhart (and a Bret, too), white trunks Tito Santana, a Money Inc. Ted DiBiase in the white tux or white trunks, USA Lex Luger, and Mega Maniacs Brutus Beefcake.
Others that would work; Big John Studd, King Mabel, Powers of Pain Warlord (just in case Barbarian ever signs), Jerry Lawler, Nikolai Volkoff, a British Bulldog from his 1994/95 return run, Iraqi Sgt. Slaughter, Col. Mustafa, Honky Tonk Man in tights, Don Muraco, among others.
And we are just spitballing on a forum - actual toy planners and designers brainstorming against a white board with the list of signed names to hand could probably come up with more snd great themed packs
I genuinely think on the whole mattel do a really good job - there’s not a mass retail range as good as what they consistently have put out for years and years but with with the retros I do feel like they’re making it more difficult than it needs to be
Not sure what you mean by making it harder.
The 1st pack is a loose theme. Just worked out that way. Some may have loose themes if it works out and some may not. We’ll be doing all Legends for the foreseeable future and prioritizing talent that never had a Retro fig while sprinkling in new versions of those that have had figs when appropriate. Original Retro era will be represented also.
I think once we’re a few waves in you’ll see you’re getting everything you (realistically) want out of this line.
Is there a chance of an AJ Styles Ultimate Edition? A cloth jacket with a cloth hood would be wonderful, as well as a second head, some extra hands and a wwe championship. Could make for an epic figure.
