I did not. I said the 2025 waves. Wave 4 is a 2024 wave You said wave 1 and 2 will be brick and mortar only and starting with series 3, they will go online for preorder (which they did and what I was talking about) Seems like you misunderstood. I did not say exactly what you’re saying.

Can you please retire this John Cena shoe mold? I just opened the new Legends 23 Jamal and Rosey and they're already falling over on the shelf. This shoe can't hold Cena, so we should've already known it wouldn't work on the much larger bodies like 3MW. Yes.

What was the reason for changing the way the Monday night wars ultimates being released quarterly now? To assist in the pre-order process with Walmart.

Does the entire series not being available in Canada count as "fulfillment issues" because I would to hear about that being resolved It doesn’t. Retails decide what they do and don’t carry. I’d love for Walmart Canada or another Canadian retailer to take these.

Starting with wave 5? Did you not say before (somewhere) that starting with wave 3 each line will begin to be up for pre orders? Now it’s starting with wave 5? Or am I reading this wrong ? He did. I did not. I said the 2025 waves. Wave 4 is a 2024 wave

Steve, thanks for everything. Can you confirm if there are going to be 4 MNW Ultimates next year as well??? There will be 4. They’ll be released individually quarterly instead of 2 waves of 2.

No. It’s not going anywhere.
Starting with wave 5, all MNW Elites (except Greatest Hits) and Ultimates will be available for pre-order.
Wave 3 pre-orders seem to be fulfilling properly so I’m hopeful the previous issues have been resolved. If there are wave 3 fulfillment issues, post here and I’ll pass them on.

Hey Steve, desperate to see Bam Bam in the ultimate line and would prefer purple flames new generation over a Coliseum release (not that I'd complain at that at all) but is BamBam a candidate for an Ultimate Edition. Also would love some more new gen to go with the arena like Lex with USA Jacket a 123 Kid not in blue and Tatanka circa 1994. Are there plans for more new gen in the ultimate line? Hopefully.

Hi Steve, apologies if this has been asked previously, I’m sure Cody’s masked look from Wrestlemania 40 Night 2 will find a way out somehow, but is there any chance of a Brandi now that she’s appeared on screen? She seemed pretty hyped about her previous figure, I’m sure she’d be interested. Thanks! Would love to make a Brandi fig but you know the drill on needing a deal with fig rights, etc…

Could you explain to us why the decision was made to insert Ali in the Territory exclusive pack instead of another signed talent from that era and also why he has a soft goods top only and wasn't made into like a "2-in-1" with all removable soft goods? Check out the latest Fig Night for details on why the set was created. www.youtube.com/live/gt0ncSBnnfg?si=f77J3NLk_lwvvaY8

Action Figure Attack - as an avid Retro collector who can't wait for the Yankem, do you have a ballpark of when the release date might get announced, as well as updates on future waves (and hopefully some bonuses)? Similar release and reveal cadence as last year.

C’mon… I don’t think anyone is forgetting about Danny. He was also a wrestler as well as a referee and was under a Legends deal much like Teddy was a manager/GM/referee. John was purely a referee on WWE television. Yeah but even tho he did have a run as a wrestler I still see him as a ref first. Plus he went back to refereeing. Also, how come a wrestler fig wasn’t ever made while he was under a deal? The point of my initial reply was to explain why Cone was included at this point in time, not to debate Danny’s career or a figure classification, both of which I don’t disagree with you on. Danny was our first official ref fig which we were able to do with the assist/explanation of his evil ref gimmick and subsequent in-ring stint. Unfortunately I only had time for the one fig of him once I joined the team. Not sure why he wasn’t used before my time. Would have loved a wrestler Danny fig. Maybe things will come around again.

Are we all forgetting about Danny Davis? Isn’t he the first “true” referee in the line? C’mon… I don’t think anyone is forgetting about Danny. He was also a wrestler as well as a referee and was under a Legends deal much like Teddy was a manager/GM/referee. John was purely a referee on WWE television.

I'm just wondering why Cone was the pick for the first referee figure. I would have figured of the current referees, Charles Robinson would have been the first to have a figure made. ESPECIALLY for Monday Night Wars, since he was used in storylines on Nitro and eventually survived the WWE takeover and was integrated into WWE. Robinson seems taylor-made for Monday Night Wars..... some of these decisions they made are baffling. Well Cone is in SummerSlam Elites, not MNW. We made him first as he was the first “true” referee we gained access to so we got to work right away. Not that complicated.

Steve, I just want to say that I was in no way attacking you personally, just stating that I had not heard that particular interview and was surprised. I of course realize you guys have a lot to juggle, and having a chance to work on an Ali figure is a great opportunity but also daunting. I’m trying to get a feel for what the true affect is for the pre 80s guys, and it looks like most people want the others but your bosses obviously feel otherwise which I respect. I sincerely appreciate all the bones you’ve thrown us with these people, I’m apparently older than I am and really want some of the older people in my collection. I know you’re fighting the good fight and I truly do appreciate it. Didn’t think that at all. But full context is more helpful than a small nugget of the answer.

Hey Steve will the next coliseum collection be revealed at Comic Con in July ? Also are there any plans to expand the ultimate torso molds. Large guys like Big John Studd. He could be great for the shelf as well as for customizers for ivar, a train, and others. I’d love to show them at SDCC if they’re ready. Yes, more torsos are in development.

Let’s say you wanted to do a new line using the MOTU/Superstars form factor (tag teams, cartoon style, modern talent, etc) would Walmart automatically get the first right to refusal or could this hypothetical line go anywhere as long as it’s not called “Superstars”? The MOTU form factor itself isn’t exclusive to Walmart.

Steve said without Ali this four pack doesn’t happen. So I’m extremely thankful for the deal Mattel had with him. Where did he say that? If this sells well, I hope they don't think it's because of Ali, no disrespect to the man. Give it a watch for some context. www.youtube.com/live/gt0ncSBnnfg?si=Xe2EOxyz-T64vNal
