That's cool, you know, I can see what you're talking about in regards to lowering the quality of your first RP. I honestly never even considered that a second promo could be damaging the way things are run here. But what about responding to things that've been said in your opponent's promo? Don't you appreciate some good back and forth between two players. It really makes a match sometimes. That's sort of one of these unanswerable questions of e-fedding; Does your RP actually get seen by the general public or, more importantly, your opponent? The only somewhat definitive answer is some do and some don't. In the case of my match this week, I took it as if Sean saw Ashton's so my RP was a response to his. But for some people they do RPs that are moreso sections of their lives outside of the ring than a typical monologue format. I won't get into the pros and cons or my personal opinions but there are people who RP that way, so it's kind of a blurry line altogether.Just to throw this in, I actually typically only spend like, 45 minutes to an hour writing a standard monologue RP. I'll usually run through the monologue in my head before writing it but when I get to the actual writing, it only takes me about an hour or so. I rule. Thats right...haha..you better not say a bad word about it hehe... ![:-*](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/kiss.gif)

Quick question - is now a good time to come back?* Are there many active people or wut? *make the promised debut that I never really got round to. Activity is not the issue, really. We have a decent sized roster. It's people putting RP's that is the problem. I mean, I'm sure others, like myself, have/had extenuating circumstances that prevented them from showing. In my opinion, the more the merrier. ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif) Can I jump in ![:-X](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/lipsrsealed.gif)

Well I talk to Trace, so hopefully i gave him some good insight on how to at least get this place moving....but it will take everyone here as well...so if you have a match, don't wait till the last minute if you know your going to be busy...trust me, right now i know busy..between work, baby, and house chores, i just have enough time to myself to make a though usually, but i still find a lil time to enjoy my hobbies during the week

The problem is it seems right now, no one has any incentive to rp...so they dont, which gives everyone else less incentive to rp....patience and hopefully some ppl who want to see this place at its best again will start pushing for it

actually I think we ALL missed the deadline... EDIT: Oh I thought it was last night. I'll see what I can do, I have a lot I have to do today. Hopefully I can get something up. Sometimes i just dont know why you stick around...you always have a ton of things to do yet you volunteer for match writing and being in this place and always seem to have been "to busy" to write a roleplay or a match all the time. If you dont have time for it, dont just be here for the sake of being here. My hands are tied alot lately but I dont say "hey ill write a match" and never do b/c of this or that and w/e else. ![:-/](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/undecided.gif)

Ignore CBT, chances are you missed his point he was making...would prolly had something to do with him enjoying buttered toast but he can never be straightforward so he prolly gave some analysis about how buttered toast was like the wfwf or something....
All im going to say is, step up your game and do your best and make a name for yourself regardless of who else is in it.

{Why So…..Seriously?} “Nowadays, jesters are mainly thought of in association with the European Middle Ages. The jester was a symbolic twin of the king. All jesters and fools in those days were thought of as special cases whom God had touched with a childlike madness—a gift, or perhaps a curse. Mentally handicapped people sometimes found employment by capering and behaving in an amusing way. In the harsh world of medieval Europe, people who might not be able to survive any other way thus found a social niche.”
“In societies where the Freedom of Speech was not recognized as a right, the court jester - precisely because anything he said was by definition "a jest" and "the uttering of a fool" - could speak frankly on controversial issues in a way in which anyone else would have been severely punished for, and monarchs understood the usefulness of having such a person at their side. Still, even the jester was not entirely immune from punishment, and he needed to walk a thin line and exercise careful judgment in how far he might go - which required him to be far from a "fool" in the modern sense.”::::::::::::::: “A true king of the ring and a jester in his court, fitting is it not? Tell me a joke dear Jester, speak your mind or maybe its time for you to bite your tongue. No worries dear boy this King will not behead you but he will break you mentally and physically. Truly, I do not have time for your games or you’re so called psychotic nature. Behind the make up you’re a man hiding from his true face and his true potential and as long as you hide you will do nothing but spin your wheels in this place. I hid once, long ago, behind a book of sorts. Times have changed and I have seen the worst in men and I have seen at their most vicious. I have been crucified above a ring and crowned with a barbed divinity. I have broken, beaten, tortured, and still I breathe. Your “demented nature” is a far cry from what I have been through kid. So Jester, welcome to the court of Jason Jadoa, and if you’re lucky I might show you a little something of what I know evil to be in this world.”::::::::::::::: Jason awoke a bit dazed from the night before, a night he couldn’t remember. A lost memory among many others recently, he didn’t care though. He figured that if any of it had been important he would have taken the time to have written himself a note. Today he had awakened in a bed in a house he did not know and seemed to be of the nudist sort at the moment. Quickly scanning the room he located his clothes and slipped into them and vacated the room. He looked down the hall into the abyss of doors, it seemed like the way that lay before him never ended. He started to make his way down the weary of his surroundings before suddenly something broke the silence and startled him right into the air. “You know if you wanted to leave, you could have least said goodbye?” The condescension and sardonic nature of the tone echoed down the hall and filled him with a momentary burst of fear followed by relief. At least this way he could ask which door led outside. Trying to play it off as if he knew her, he turned and gazed at the beauty before him. A goddess in a nightgown and of course he now felt himself being pulled towards her. His feet began moving in her direction without the command of his mind but his heart instead. “I-I’m sorry, um goodbye or good morning.” His words began to fade off into a mumble as he gained ground. “What’s wrong with you Jason? Are you like sleep walking or something, I mean seriously, your acting kind of funny?” “I am?” Jason was confused at this point but steadily he began to regain some self control over his functions if only due to his curiosity of the situation. “Did you take something this morning Jason,” her eyes narrowed in a questionable way, “if you did you better damn well tell me!” With no solution he found himself using his match as an explanation. “I’m sorry, it’s just this match coming up and everything, my mind just keeps slipping in and out.” “Aw, my poor baby, does that mean ole clown got you scared?” In sincerity this might have been comforting but her sarcasm was only surpassed by her radiant beauty. “Seriously though, no worries love, that Joker wannabe doesn’t have a chance, you’ve went up against worse.” She was right and the truth began to overwhelm his soul, he had been through hell and seen it all. There was nothing that any man could show him in the ring that he had not come across. From brute strength, to jokes, and even wits; he had been up against it all and overcome every one of them. Sometimes in the simplest of moments, you find all the answers you need in this life. His new truth had been spoken by a stranger who knew him better then he knew himself. “How about you come back to bed?” She winked with seduction and ran back into the bedroom.

To be honest I really tried to enjoy it as much as I wanted and ended up not
My biggest problem was no single underlying plot yet and just ton of all over the place things going on.
I mean I never watch Heroes with a huge amount of hope for the greatest thing ever but I watched the season opener truly hoping with all the hype that they would make it something amazing and I felt that along with the all over the place plot lines and the scene jumping constantly...I guess I just feel like, at this point, the writers are saying to me. "I dont have to try anymore really b/c I know you will watch it."
Maybe I am the only one who felt that way about it.
