"From the Vault" secretly means Mattel is stealing the value of people's collections lmao The REAL value was the MSRP, unofficial secondary parties put a “value” on it, and even then it wasn’t concrete. All of these figures ALWAYS WERE fair game for rereleases and improvements at some point. Mattel saw money in rereleasing them with improved articulation, heads and whatnot…so they did. The only value these should hold is what YOU assign to them. You want an investment, go with past lines, not Mattel WWE, because as long as they are a LIVE line (I mean a currently ongoing line) they are fair game, that’s the rule of all the MAJOR toy makers. You want to invest, play the stock market. Current mass produced lines and ultra modern trading cards aren’t a smart “investment”.

That RVD face is horrible. If not for the attire, I’d never know that was RVD. It looks like Matt Jackson doing a stupid little cosplay as RVD.

I’d love blue LOD and LOD 2000.(I know that version sucked but it looked cool.) That and Mattel doing LOD’s ‘97 attire would be great too!

Bull Nakano announced as going into the HOF. Seems like a very toyetic wrestler to hopefully get into figure form. Hopefully with Bill’s obsession with Japanese wrestlers, we can get her (and Muta…and PLEASE Inoki)

I just realized..." , the Headbangers are probably going to be thrown into the Monday Night Wars Line and I'm going to have to end up paying $50 each to get em aren't I?" . I would imagine they would be in the MNW or the Legends line. Even if they go with MNW first, they prob would get another release 2 years later in the Legends line (I believe most Legends contracts are 5 years). Do we even know how many series a year we will get of MNW? They've announced 3 sets and the first one hasn't even hit Walmart yet. Prob looking at next year for hitting stores if they are in MNW (and the line is still around). And the Uncle Paul exclusives are $40 (if you are fast enough). I’ve been checking periodically. The only one I’ve been able to get from Paulmart is Hogan. This is shaping up to be another mess. Whodathunkit?

Hey, Steve, could you please NOT throw the Headbangers in the MNW line? I actually want to find them and not have to pay $50-$70 each. Thanks.

Top Picks Wave 3 is incorrect on the first page. Gunther Rey Mysterio Roman Reigns Fixed it - thank you! I'd love if that Rey is somehow from his 2006 WHC reign.

These will be the worst-looking, highest-priced Ebay exclusives ever. Yay. They are removing legends figures from the mainlines for these...

Dang, 3 UE sets in a row without a new legend. I know we have UE lines dedicated to them now, but that partially relies on WalMart being reliable. Looks like we will be paying $75-$100 a figure if that's the case. Or if you live anywhere outside of the limited areas where Walmarts actually get figures they are supposed to be carrying. I'm seriously more likely to be a victim of a violent crime at my Walmarts than I am of finding figures I'm looking for.

OK, I am bored, so diving in and taking a guess as to what we will see for the rumored Legends, based on what we know of who is (supposedly) signed. Sandman - now rumored to be in Elite 111 so I am expecting at the very least renders, if not actual photos of him. He was added to the WWE Supercard game in November. The Dudleys - No lineup yet, but rumored for as long as Sandman, and they do have those titles for sale too - Renders if not photos of these figures. Both were added back to the WWE Supercard game in November Headbangers - We have known about these for (I believe) almost a year, so fully expecting to see photos of these. Both of these were added to the WWE Supercard game in November. Muta - This one is interesting. I believe that he will be part of the line, but we may not get anything until SDCC. He has not yet been added to the WWE Supercard game, but he is part of the 2K download for the forthcoming game, and both are made by the same company Raven - I would love this to be a surprise, but if this was a more recent signing, it may not happen until SDCC. There is no evidence of him in the WWE Supercard game or WWE2k24 roster Brian Pillman - We just had the news about the signing at the beginning of February, so I am guessing we do not see anything on this until SDCC, at the earliest. No evidence in WWE Supercard or WWE2k24 roster. The Steiners - Obviously we know they are signed, and have had figures already, but not the ones we want the most. I think we see these either at Wrestlemania or SDCC. What I find interesting is that they both debuted in the WWESupercard game at slightly different times. Rick debuted in November 2022 and Scott in February 2023. Rick had his figure first in Elite 104, and Scott a month or so later in Elite 105. Another interesting aspect is that in the WWE Supercard game, Rick's first two cards were both in the attire that is the same as his first figure. Scott Steiner's was also similar enough to his first figure that I would call it the same look. They did then have more cards in the summer of 2023, and Rick's were all the classic early 90s looks, and Scott had 2 Poppa Pump looks and 2 Classic looks. I am guessing we will see these two in classic looks in either the MNW line or the Legends line. Or maybe both. CM Punk - There is no doubt in my mind that he is going to get the Cody Rhodes treatment as far as figures go. He just signed at Survivor Series, so his figures will not hit until next Fall at the absolute soonest - unless there is a way to pump out 'Best of' Punks somewhere - but based on what Steve has said in the past, those are not as easy as we would think. Regardless I am maybe expecting renders of his debut walk out at Survivor Series, or one of his subsequent appearances on Raw or Smackdown, classic Punk in the Legends line, the Greatest Hits line, and maybe the announcement of a CM Punk in the lineup maybe around Elite 115. I would then expect maybe at SDCC or even Ringside Fest, an announcement of an Ultimate CM Punk. OR - one other possibility is if they will do a Mattel Creations figure for Punk like they did Cody and Logan Paul. But have no doubt we will get some CM Punk news at Wrestlemania week. Finally I went through the WWE2K24 roster completely to see who is in there that is not in figure form - not counting current wrestlers. If they are a current wrestler, we know that they are possible to be made. These are the roster members who have not yet been made in figure form. These are Adam Pierce, Bad Bunny, Bobby 'the Brain' Heenan, Bray Wyatt, Cathy Kelly, Uncle Howdy, and finally William Regal. It has been a long time since we saw Heenan in the line anywhere and while we have Adam Pierce in the game, there is no Nick Aldis. Will we see any of these? We will see, but hopefully we get a William Regal soon, he is overdue. I believe Steve has confirmed that Rick and Scott were signed at different times and that's why this happened and why they're both in singles gear first. Rather than risk getting Rick out in tag gear and never having Scott, as soon as they had rights to Rick, they started working on him in singles attire, and then when Scott came later, they added him as well. I just want several Elite and Ultimate pairs of Steiners from late '89-'94, and one or two from '96- Early '98

Okay, but do we know if this Rey has been shelved for good, or is it possible they aren't happy with the way something turned out about it, and are saving it for somewhere else in the line. Maybe even knowing it is something that could sell more as a GR? Or are we doing what a lot of us do around here and jumping to conclusions (myself being guilty of this as well)?

I don't know why people are down on the entire series...Every figure so far has been good (although Hall was a bit of a let down). It's just a shame that I'll never be able to buy them here in Canada. There's options they could do for us Canadians: Mattel Creations Fan Channel Amazon Canada Hasbro's exclusives are offered here but none of Mattel's are. No idea why it's happening and still no answers no matter how many times it's brought it. Hasbro is great at getting their product out. The Legends and GI Joe stuff is easy to find. Classified had a rough couple of years initially, but now they are cooking with gas. They learned not to put sought after figures and looks as store exclusives and are writing all the wrongs they did at the beginning of the line by giving Walmart sought after looks.
