In the late 90's I used to see some toy shops and large retailers like Kmart stocking the WWF BCA/TTL lines. I remember Kmart's used to get plenty of WCW figures compared to WWF ones. I think Mattel's probably been the worst for availability in Australia in my collecting time. Moved over from the UK in 91 and there was some hasbros, but not many. Never saw a bend em, used to drool over them in magazines. Jakks I only saw one set of slammers and then the BCA with the mania 14 or 15 background. When I saw them my mind was blown. LOD, Owen Hart in black and yellow, Kane, Undertaker, Mankind, Rock, Austin etc. For a couple of years I saw loads, probably up until TTL first set or two. After that it was very sporadic again. I stopped then as I was in later high school. But few years later toys r us starting getting classics. That tempted me, but not briefly. Mattel finally gets me back in and they release bugger all over here. Infuriating. It's annoying when especially the store exclusives don't get sighted in Australia. I guess it's the retailer's not wanting to stock WWE figures or the retailer's can't get any WWE figures from Mattel.

Is it me but does every Mick Foley elite look way to skinny? Mick Foley was thick especially from the waist down to the thighs while these figures make him look like his dieting. In my personal opinion Jakks captured Mick Foley way better than Mattel.

Australia just s@cks for collecting. Since Mattel took over collecting has been more painful with alot of lines not showing up in Australia and each store having random figures. When Jakks made WWE figures it was more easier to find and alot of stores carried the line, even Coles, Woolworths, Kmart and Myer had the random RA line with Myer/Kmart getting plenty of the Classic superstars line. Collecting of wrestling figures in Australia is terrible. The stores have decided to stop selling WWE figures has stopped many figures coming to Australia. Also with many figures being exclusive to stores in the United States. Figures that are exclusive to Target in the United States doesn't mean that Target will get them here in Australia. Figures that are exclusive to Walmart in the United States doesn't mean that Big W will get them here in Australia. Transformer figures that are exclusive to Walmart in the United States are exclusive to JB HiFi in Australia. Figures coming into Australia have gone back to how it was like in the late 1990's, when no one stocked them. With the internet you hear about figures coming out in the United States, but we don't see them here. In the late 90's I used to see some toy shops and large retailers like Kmart stocking the WWF BCA/TTL lines. I remember Kmart's used to get plenty of WCW figures compared to WWF ones. I think Mattel's probably been the worst for availability in Australia in my collecting time.

These are some of the greatest superstars in the history of the business which deserve their own molds and now doubt Austin needs his own unique body mold and bigger thighs. Also Undertaker and Kane need to also have unique body molds since the elites are too skinny.

Yeah the last time we had a big event here in Melbourne the figures took off for a while for months before - haven’t noticed that this time though. Australia just s@cks for collecting. Is Mattel blind or incompetent? Just look at the size of Undertaker in 1998 and compare that to his MNW release, It's laughable and it shouldn't be happening in 2024. 😔 This isn't directed at you but I wanted to add onto the discussion and use that picture as comparison. This MNW Undertaker shares the same torso as the Network Spotlight Undertaker, which I'm looking at in between typing this and comparing it to the Legends 19 Undertaker (which is about as wide as the UE). Looking at that picture and the torso for this MNW figure and the same for the NS, it's not as bad as everyone's making out. Basically the crotch pieces on the Legends 19 and this MNW one are the same width, the lower torso sections are roughly the same width. If not, slightly (only slightly) in favour of the Legends figure. The lats on the Legends and UE figures are so wide because they decided to give him such wide shoulders. It never looked right even when they first showed the UE. Look at that picture. He doesn't have super wide shoulders and he doesn't have that "v-taper" body type. The shoulders are in-line with his lats. So if anything, Mattel screwed up his Legends and UE figures. The lats on the MNW/NS torso are slightly too slim, but the issues are less bothersome than how the shoulders look. The width of his shoulders are completely fine believe it or not. But the tunic is too close to the body. It needs extending over his shoulders a little. Add a small amount of thickness to the lats (it really doesn't need much at all), and the proportions of this figure would be more in-line with that picture than the Legends/UE figures. Maybe I'll do some crappy photo editing to show what I mean. I know what your saying that the shoulder section of the torso is too wide with the waist line being too thin. Mattel needs to make the crotch and stomach piece wider to look more proportionate to the actual person. At the moment it's too skinny and makes Undertaker look like his dieting or a marathon runner.

J-MANN: Tag Team Champion apparently, all three Undertakers have different skintones. Super annoying, mind you I was happy at first. Now, it just seems like I’ll be wasting money to make this figure fixup work. Why can’t Mattel just make all the 90’s Undertakers pale with wide torsos? The legends got his torso right. Also, the Hogan gloves are terrible. They have gap and the wrist section does not go all around his gloves. I feel like this is what they were going for so I think the Hogan gloves were the way to go over any other glove mold they have. Should he be thicker? Yeah but we have been saying that since Elite Series 1 so I doubt they’ll ever give him (or Mr Perfect) a thicker torso. Is Mattel blind or incompetent? Just look at the size of Undertaker in 1998 and compare that to his MNW release, It's laughable and it shouldn't be happening in 2024. 😔

I only collect the ones I want and I'm from Australia too. But anyone who is are completionist, it's going to be a very expensive exercise.

I’ll stick with my 7 year old fix up… What head is that? It looks fantastic. It's one of the old Jakks RA headscans and I did the exact same thing since Mattel until now did'nt capture the Undertakers look from 1998.

Who knows if Sting will resign another legends contract. I can see Tony Khan using Sting in some other capacity moving forward in AEW.

The head looks great but the issue I see is the beard looks way too thick especially the upper lip part. I dunno. I don’t think the actual face resembles Mark at all. Just a head with a goatee and long black hair. Again though, these don’t need to be perfect. They’re representations of the characters. I forgot to mention the beards colour looks more on the greyish side as well.

I dunno. Maybe it’s just me, but that head looks nothing like The Undertaker. The head looks great but the issue I see is the beard looks way too thick especially the upper lip part.

I just saw the review of this set and that Undertaker is disappointing. Mattel again made him look like a young man who is still growing when infact the Undertaker was huge in 1998 and especially in 1999. Sadly these elites from that time period don't do him justice.

I have no idea why Mattel would entertain the idea of swappable hair when you can have alternate heads with and without the hat in Kevin Nash's case. 🤔

Maybe Jazwares made Punk look like cr@p since he is now in WWE? Bucks call them up like, "Mess with this fig, or else you won't get to not make figs in a timely fashion for us again!" Lol..

LOD 2000 and LOD from WrestleMania 14. It would have been nice to get sunny but that's very very unlikely now.

That's probably something Mattel would do to cut costs. 😔 The Austin jean shorts mold would work. True and would probably be the best mild for him. 👍
