Met Jeff hardy Today at the Cary Mall. He's pretty cool and friendly. He was with his wife and kid. Awesome to hear! He is by far one of the nicest wrestlers out there! Anybody in the Raleigh area finding Basic 18 or 19 yet?

When i went to Mebane last thursday there were 20 barrets. 10 on shelf, 6 on endcap, 4 on clearance aisle. The basics were b17, multiples of everyone including Ryder and Ziggler. Bout 4 b10 Barrett and 3 Hart Dynasty 2packs. Clearance? Do you remember how much they were?

Nope, they had the same ol' same ol', and instead of new Elites like maybe 15 like I was hoping they just jammed the pegs up again with BOPPV. We're probably going to be haunted by that wave like we are with WM 26 that keeps rearing it's ugly head each holiday season. And Wm27 will probably join it again this year at Christmas times. Figures, we are talking about Winston TRU here, lol!

Was in Mebane again today. Lots of basics. An endcap full. The only elites they had were Wade Barrett. Like, there is still 10 of them there. What series did they have as far as Basics?

Winston Salem TRU had a full set of Elite BOPPV with multiples of everybody except for Bret Hart (just one), but they were there for the past several days. Maybe everybody got a clue that they aren't worth scalping. Seriously, check Ebay. Michael Cole will realistically only fetch 50 dollars at the moment, and even Bret Hart only goes for about 25 dollars now. They cost almost 23 dollars, so by the time Ebay takes a fee, takes a shipping fee, and Paypal takes a fee, and you waste gas looking for it, you've actually paid someone to take it from you. We live on the East coast, nothing is rare once it gets here. I'm just tired of wasting my gas when people stand right up in front of the door on truck day at TRU and run to beat everybody else to snapping up the figures that aren't even profitable to scalp in the first place. But with this recent TRU visit, maybe the scalpers are finally learning something? Amen to that, maybe they will finally learn! Did they have anything else worth mentioning?

Woke up this morning to Elite 14 Big Bossman sitting on my desk as a gift from from my wife. She says the Graham-Hopedale Rd. Wal-Mart in Burlington has all of series 14 including more than 1 Bossman, for anyone looking. Any sign of Basic 18 your way?

In celebration of finally finding a summer job (yep, even though summer is already here), I decided to make a trip and make a purchase I have been contemplating making for a while now and that would be to add the Tribute To The Troops Series to my collection. I did just that when I went to Salisbury earlier today. Here is a brief rundown of what I saw and bought:
Salisbury Kmart: +There was nothing new at all in the wrestling figure section, but then again I was only interested in making the trip for one reason... -...and as mentioned, that was for the Tribute figures. I picked up 1 of each in the set and left the following: several of Rey Mysterio, 2 Big Show, 1 Randy Orton and I think 3 of John Cena. I'm a little shocked that they still have Orton and Show there; even after I picked up my set. Anyway, they are all nice considering the accessories that come with them and the theme. The thought of having attires that they never actually wore is a different touch as well.
Salisbury Wal-Mart: -Nothing new in stock except a case of Basic 13 since I was there a couple weeks ago. There was at least 1 of all wrestlers in the series except Vickie Guerrero, who they did not have.
All in all, a decent day as the trip was worth it. I was hoping to see something new on shelves, but I can't complain!

Did anyone go out to the Fire Star Pro Wrestling show last night in Eden? I did and it was a pretty decent show and worth the long ride up to that side of the state. Bobby Lashley was there and I got my Adrenaline Series 18 2-pack signed by him and the guy is super nice to say the least. I'm glad he ventured to a small town and was shocked when the promotion announced that he was going to be there. Also, Shelly Martinez was in the building and I got her to sign the ECW Series 2 figure I had with me. She is beautiful, but not the friendliest. All in all a decent show and Eddie Edwards is the new Ultra J champion, so we will be seeing more of him around the state!
I didn't do much figure hunting as I spent way too much money at the event.

Finally, I found that damn Bella Twins Battle Pack! Yes indeed, in Concord yesterday. Here is a brief rundown of what I saw and bought:
Concord TRU: -1 case of Battle Packs 3! I scored Brie Bella/Nikki Bella, but there are 2 left of Sin Cara/Daniel Bryan and I think 3 of The Rock/John Cena. I have to admit that I somewhat like the BELT despite the fact that it is not detailed or the right color. It's cool non the less. -Wrestlemania Heritage times a couple of each, except Ultimate Warrior as I bought the only 2 in stock. I also grabbed an Eddie Guerrero and Jack Swagger for a friend of mine (yes an actual friend, not scalper lingo for an Ebay customer...) +I honestly can't remember anything else at this store as most of the new stock since I was last there was just listed.
Most of all of the Wal-Mart stores in the area had the same stock as usual.
Concord/Kannapolis/wherever the hell it is 'officially' located Kmart: -The same as usual with nothing new except for them getting in at least 20 more of the Randy Orton/John Cena/Miz exclusive packs...
Salisbury Kmart: +Going with the usual trend lately with other Kmart stores and staying true to this particular location's legacy...nothing new...
Well, that raps up yesterday's exciting hunt. Exciting only because I finally found that damn Bella's 2-pack! All in all, a decent hunt due to that, despite the drought of Basic figures we are currently experiencing. Until next time!

I had $5 in TRU Rewards Bucks so I decided to venture to Winston in order to utilized my 'reward' for spending too much on wrestling figures! Anyway, here is a rundown of what I saw and bought:
Winston TRU: +Nothing new here to report other than what they have had for weeks. -However, they did have 2 pegs FULL of Battle Packs Randy Orton/Mason Ryan with 1 lone Battle Packs The Miz/Alex Riley among them. -Over a half million of the usual Rey Mysterio and John Cena basic figures. After everyone on this board complaining about this monstrosity other than myself, Mattel should get the hint by now. Make their figures chase versions or something. This is pathetic... -1 of both Jake Roberts/Randy Orton and Randy Savage/John Morrison in the All Stars packs. I opted to use my 'bucks' on the Roberts/Orton set to complete the series as I have been toying with getting one since they came out.
Target on Hane's Mall Boulevard: -A bust as usual concerning WWE figures. There was nothing new in stock. -However, they did have the GI Joe Retaliation figures in stock. I decided to pick up Rock's Roadblock figure and left 2 behind.
Wal-Mart on Hane's Mall Boulevard: -Nothing new in stock at this location. -No GI Joe Retaliation figures to be seen. +The guy that work's in the Electronics section in this store is a complete ass wipe and liar to say the least. Couple that with not having anything in stock and poor prior experience with this waste of store space, I think I am going to abandon supporting this store in any manner from now on. Don't be surprised if I never report about this store again. No more publicity...
Winston Kmart: -Surprise, nothing new! -They had some of the GI Joe Retaliation figures though. I recall 2 Roadblock's on the shelves.
Wal-Mart on Highway 150: -Nothing new to report and it looks like they may be shrinking their WWE section other than Flextrash and Rumblers. Therefore, I don't care for their future inventories here, but their staff is top notch for a Wal-Mart!
All in all, a somewhat-semi-successful hunt as I have been wanting one of the Roadblock figures since I seen them out on my way to the Over The Limit event! It was also good to pick up the last All Stars pack I needed despite its price.
On a side note, I have heard that the current batch of GI Joe Retaliation figures are discontinued. Is there any merit to that?

Did anyone go to the Sheamus signing? I know there was at least a couple hundred people there, so I can't be the only one. Anyway, he was super nice and it was worth the 2 hour drive! He signed the 1/1000 TLC and Best of 2011 Elite figures that I brought with me! I see why WWE pushes him so much now! He is a hell of a representative for the company!Anyway, I mainly only hit the Apex Target and the Cary TRU. Most of you local collectors probably already know what they had, so I won't bother posting any updates. Though, I did get the manager to check for more 2-packs in the back and he brought out 2 more Rock/John Cena sets to go along with the 40 that are already on the floor, lmao! ;D I did pick up something while I was there and it was a Vinyl Aggression Kofi Kingston! It was only $0.98, so I could not pass it up! All in all, it was a great day as I got to meet one of my favorite wrestlers in Sheamus and scored a Jakks WWE figure at retail, lol! Juice, check your pm's! I agree. Sheamus was an extremely nice guy and seems like a leader... don't know if that is the correct word I am looking for. Here's the pic I got with him, and he let me hold the championship! Damn, I thought about asking if I could hold the belt, but I figured they would have said no...

They still do the souvenir chair for the first 5 rows ringside. I have been to several PPV's does are awesome chairs. Depending on your seat location, you might be seen on TV. Enjoy the PPV! Great, thanks a lot! The woman that I was on the phone with and bought the ticket from today was clueless as to what I was talking about. However, the person I talked to last week, just to get pricing, said that they do in fact still have the chair promotion for the first 3 rows! I just wasn't sure who to believe between the two. @juice: Awesome it is, but it came at a not so awesome price too...! I will definitely take a pic of it if you don't end up with one.

I just ordered my ticket for Over The Limit! Floor Section 4, Row 1, Seat 3! I'm so excited!
Does WWE still do the chair promotion by chance?

Did anyone go to Evolve 13 last night in Concord? I did and I was somewhat let down as it wasn't that great of a show. A.R. Fox, Chuck Taylor, Ricochet, Jigsaw, El Generico and Samurai Del Sol were all great, but that was about it. Nothing like I thought it would be. Low Ki was also there, but did not come out. Someone working the show mentioned that he isn't all there. Interesting to say the least. Maybe it was the pink shirt that Laycool made him wear on NXT. A big disappointment to say the least. Though, we all know that WWE Over The Limit will certainly deliver to say the least, considering we will have 2 true indie legends tearing the house down in CM Punk and Bryan Danielson! End rant...
Anyway, the Wal-Mart stores in the area had virtually the same stock as a few days ago.
All in all, I should have stayed home...

If I ever get paid before then (check is somewhere in the mail system...hopefully), I will be going and still looking to sit on the floor level as we talked about! I'm going to Evolve 13 tonight too, so 2 pay per views in 2 weeks is going to be awesome to say the least!
