What a quiet thread for a WWE pay-per-view coming here in a little over a week! Anyway, after a bitch of a semester, I decided to reward myself by going on a massive figure hunt yesterday! I opted to hunt in the Concord area and here is a brief rundown of what I saw and bought: Salisbury Kmart:-Various Basics in new packaging, but they were mostly all shelf-rotters such as Randy Orton, Mysterio and John Cena. -Deluxe Impact 6. Everyone present except Kurt Angle and Terry Taylor. -2 Battle Packs 1 Rhodes/Mysterio sets. -Elite 10 leftovers. The usual John Morrison and R-Truth, paired with a green Ted DiBiase and 1 Kane. There was also a Big Show, but as always in this town, the belts were stolen. + Just a forewarning to whom is stealing crap out of the packages in Salisbury. If I see you doing it, I will beat the living out of you for doing said cowardly activity. It makes you look like trash and it hurts all of us collectors, even your miserable waist of space. You're welcome...!Salisbury Wal-Mart:-Nothing much to note, but for you Rumbler fans, you are in luck! They had about a handful of the Rhodes/Mysterio sets on the shelf! Concord TRU:-After waiting nearly a year if not two, I finally found a Michael McGillicutty figure! That's right, this TRU got in Battle Packs 4 and they had at least 3 of everyone else in the series except, David Otunga/McGillicutty, whom they only had 1 of and I got! The Otunga is a lot better than his last figure and McGillicutty's is near perfect! Definitely one of Mattel's best works in the WWE line! However, just as I figured, the scan on Alberto Del Rio is terrible... -For anyone looking for the BOPPV Elite Bret Hart, they had 4 in stock! There were also several of everyone else left in that series! -Also, they had the new Basic Series in with Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder! No Ryder, but there was one Ziggler in stock. Though, all the packages were crushed to hell. Whoever is stocking these cases, whether at Mattel's distribution center or TRU's center, they are doing a crapty job to say the least. Unless, the packages got damaged in transit. -Complete set of BOPPV Basics. This was the first time I seen that Mark Henry figure at retail. Wal-Mart stores in the area:+I combined the findings for the various Wal-Mart stores in the area as they always seem to have the same stock. -Elite 13. I only seen Big Show, Rey Mysterio (figures) and Sheamus in stock. -At least 40 Elite 11 Wade Barret figures at each store. Hopefully WWE gives him a big push when he returns so they will disappear from store shelves. -Most of them had remains of Basic 11 with Skip Sheffield and Daniel Bryan being the prominent faces in stock. Kannapolis Target:-Remains of the Basic series with Layla and Brodus Clay. Neither were in stock. -Elite 13. Everyone was there except Cody Rhodes. The Ziggler in stock was not the variant. All in all, a great, but exhausting and refreshing hunt! To my surprise, I found the Otunga/McGillicuty pack...early to say the least! For that, I consider it a great success!

Anybody going to RAW in Greensboro? I wish, but I have an awards ceremony that I have to attend tonight. I am going to hold out for Over The Limit instead. Are you or anybody else going to the Evolve show this weekend at the Cabarrus Arena in Kannapolis?

Just joining the forum! Seems like I'm up here all by my lonesome in the mountains of Boone. Getting ready to graduate ASU! Hopefully I can contribute even though most u Carolinians are from off the mountain! Anyone ever find any good Basics at CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens? I found an Extreme Rules Sheamus at a Rite Aid store a few months ago! Although that is not a notable find for most folks on here, it was for me as I never seen one at retail until that day. Of course, I was looking for that particular figure and I could not pass it up, even for the extremely high price of $15 before tax...! Other than that, I haven't seen much of anything at either store that would be considered rare other than a couple Off The Ropes Hornswoggle's and a Basic Series (?) Kelly Kelly before they became rare.

Awesome, may I ask where you met him? He was fairly nice and I honestly thought he was going to be an ass considering he is good friends with Hulk Hogan. Then again, Jim Duggan is too and he is super nice. In Greensboro... Hulk Hogan had an event called 'Back from The Brink'. This was in Sept. of 2011 (I think). Also met Bischoff and Hogan. It was a pretty strange event, but cool. Oh yea, I forgot all about that! Check your pm's on the ticket!

Did anyone go to any of the local shows last night around the state? I actually hit two in one night as I went to the Power Pro Wrestling meet n greet in Winston where I met Paul Bearer and got my Classic Superstars Series 9 figure signed! Super nice guy!
After that, I headed all the way up to Gastonia and went to the Griffie Promotions Superstar Wars event! I got to meet Devon Dudley and get my Toybiz TNA Series 7 figure signed! He was extremely nice and even brought the TNA Television title with him! Also, at the same event, I met Brutus Beefcake too! Reasonably nice guy that signed both the Classic Superstars Megamaniacs 3 pack and CS Series 5 (?) figures that I brought to the show! Too my astonishment, this fella is super tall to say the least! All in all, a great show despite how much it hurt my wallet...!
As far as figure hunting, I hit a couple Wal-Mart stores on the way home that had nothing to write home about. They all had roughly the same figures in stock with no sign of Battle Packs 3 unfortunately.

I had to run up to Winston today to pick up my Matty Exclusive DDP figure, so I thought I would role the dice and see what I could find at retail! Here is a brief rundown of what I saw and bought:
Wal-Mart off Highway 150: -Finally! Battle Packs 3! I picked up Sin Cara/Daniel Bryan, but unfortunately, there were no Bella Twins in site. They had 2 left of Cara/Bryan and 3 of The Rock/John Cena after I got done. I have to say, the Sin Cara is much better than I expected and the pics online don't do it justice! On the other hand, the head scan on Bryan is the same one used on his Best of Pay Per View Elite figure and it is all-around terrible... -From a glance, it looked like they had everyone from the new Signature Series.
Winston Kmart: +Nothing new to report since last time. They done away with the shipper and put the remaining figures on the pegs.
Winston TRU: +They had the new shipper in, but it was heavily picked over. -2-3 each of The Miz/Alex Riley and Rey Mysterio/Cody Rhodes. For some odd reason, all of the Cena/R-Truth packs were either gone or never shipped. -At least 1 of everyone from the new Signature Series. -There was 2-3 Cena's from Elite 14, but no one else there. +Now to the regular aisle and endcap. -1 lone TLC Cena. -Everyone from the BOPPV Basics except for Mark Henry. -Several Randy Orton/Mason Ryan Battle Packs. -Several Battle Packs 3 Rock/Cena sets back in stock. -A number of Rumble Money In The Bank play sets. It looks cheaply made, but neat none the less.
Target on Hane's Mall Boulevard: +To my absolute most intense suprise...they got something new in! -Remains of the Basic series with Brodus Clay. There were several of everyone except 1 Clay and no Layla's in sight. -1 lone Elite 14 (?) Alberto Del Rio. This is an awesome figure, but the head scan looks terrible. +As a forewarning, this store is in somewhat of a mess as they are doing some sort of remodeling.
Wal-Mart off Hane's Mall Boulevard: -Nothing new since my last report. This store is generally a waste of time...at least my time...
All in all, an awesome hunt where I found two of the three items that I was looking for the in the DDP and Cara/Bryan sets! It feels nice to actually go out and do a decent hunt now that the current semester has winded down...!

Has anyone seen any sign of Basic 2-packs 15 in the piedmont area yet? It is the series with Sin Cara and the Bella Twins.

I traveled up to the Winston Toys "R" Us Thursday to see if they have anything new in stock. Just as I thought, nothing new in stock.
Does anyone have a Classic Superstars Brutus Beefcake that they would sale me? The package doesn't have to be completely mint.

Well, I took my girlfriend up to the Concord area to take her out for her birthday. Of course, I got two stops in as far as figure hunting goes. Here is a brief rundown of what I saw and did not buy: Concord Toys "R" Us:-Multiples of everyone in Best of Pay Per View Elite. No Bret Hart figures though. -Multiples of The Rock, Big Show and John Cena from Wrestlemania Heritage. No 1/1000's unfortunately. -I believe they had about 5 of the Battle Packs 3 Rock/John Cena sets. +Nothing else worth mentioning. Yep, not much of a day hunting wise, but my girl had a great time and that was all that mattered!

Oh yes, I finally scored the Best of Pay Per View Elite Bret Hart yesterday at the Winston Toys "R" Us! My Michael Cole figure is complete! Not only that, but I got a few more items! Here is a brief rundown of what i saw and bought: Winston TRU:-As stated, I scored the BOPPV Hitman yesterday! They had a million and 1 John Cena's left over and I think only 1 Triple H and Daniel Bryan left. There was another Bret Hart, but my buddy got it so you scalper- s are out of luck! -Several of the BOPPV Basics were also in stock, except only 1 Christian and no Mark Henry's. -There was 1 lone Battle Packs 3 Rock/John Cena; which I picked up as I had a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more, paired with 10% off all WWE figures and a FREE Rock dvd with my purchase! Great success! -Mixed assortment of Battle Packs: I think they only had Randy Orton/Mason Ryan and 1 Rey Mysterio/Cody Rhodes. -Mixed Elites: 1 of the Randy Orton figures complete with shelf-warming action and John Morrison from a recent Elite series. -Elite 13: There was 1 Edge, I'm assuming several Mysterio's and a couple Sheamus in stock. -Basic 15: Multiples of the shelf warmers from this series. No Layla's or Brodus Clay's. +That was about all that I remember that was important. Winston Kmart:-The display was still up and only 1 figure (Elite 12 wise) that was missing from it. Also, everyone looked to be there from the Signature Series. I know I saw Miz still there. -I think everyone was there from the Tribute To The Troops Series. -Several Undertaker's from the Basic series with Vickie Guerrero. -1 each of Elite R-Truth and John Morrison. -1 of Madison Rayne, Kazarian and Terry Taylor in Deluxe Impact 6. Wal-Mart off Highway 150:-The only thing worth reporting here was SEVERAL of everyone in the Signature Series. All in all, a excellent day as I completed my BOPPV Elite series and also got the Rock dvd and 2 pack...all for $35!

How was the show, did you get to meet Dolph? It was a really good show. I had a great time. My favorite match was Jericho/Kofi. I decided to not buy the shiort and meet Dolph... only because I absolutely hate that shirt. Glad to hear you had a great time! That shirt is somewhat atrocious. Was there a lot of people doing the meet?

I just got a ticket to go to the WWE RAW house show on Sunday in Charlotte. What's the Concord TRU lookin' like right now? How about Pineville? That's not all that far is it? No, it's not far. There are 3 Charlotte-area TRUs - Concord to the north, Pineville to the east, & Gastonia to the west. I haven't been to the Concord TRU in a few months because I never find anything there. I went to the Pineville TRU today. They had a lot of Survivor Series Heritage figures & several of the Basic figures that come with the backstage set pieces. I remember seeing Cena, Mysterio, & Christian. We may try to hit the Gastonia TRU tomorrow. If we do, I'll post what I find. Any 1/1000's by chance?

" #Heel: WWE Live in CHARLOTTE sunday 5pm! 1st 50 to buy PINK #ShowOff shirt get PRIVATE meet&greet with ME #seaofPINK" NICE. I'm gonna try to get 1 of those tomorrow. Anyone know what time the doors open? I heard 5, but I might be mistaken. With the low amount of shirts being offered for the meet n greet, along with the fact that the show will draw a couple thousand fans, makes me think that I won't be able to get one of the shirts, lol!

any word on the Burlington area? I haven't been up there in a few months, but when I was, the Wal-Mart there was virtually bare. @juice: I am toying with going, but I think I am going to hold off for Over The Limit instead.

I took a trip up to Winston with my girlfriend so she could work on a project for school. We didn't have a lot of time, but we did stop by the Winston Toys "R" Us. Here is a brief rundown of what I seen and did not buy: Winston TRU:-Remains of Elite 13. There was 2 Rey Mysterio's complete with shelf warming action since no one cares to buy anymore of his figures as they make way to ing many of them. They also had 1 Edge which shocked me as I have yet to even see that figure at retail. Also, I seen I believe only 1 of Sheamus. -Best of Pay Per View Basics. There were several of Christian, a few John Cena figures and at least a half million Rey Mysterio figures. -At least a case of Battle Packs 2. There were 2 of Heath Slater/Justin Gabriel and several of the other 2 sets. An average trip with nothing worth buying! I did score a couple rare Classic Superstars figures on eBay though! Does that count?
