Fawkes made the game easy mode. But, it was too funny not to keep him. His gatlin gun just dominated everything. Still, super granny is the best. Refresh me, who is Super Granny? Star Palidin Cross?

Jason, where do you buy yours from? spamS sells them and they are offered through Diamod/Previews so any comic shop could order the upcoming ones if you ask them to. I pre-ordered them from spamS with an estimated arrival date of July back in June. Still waiting on half of what I ordered. Apparently they are REALLY hard to come by. But spamS's prices are too good to cancel the pre-orders and go the ebay route. At this point the pre-orders I made back in the spring that had a summer ETA now have a December ETA, so fingers are crossed.

Updates of my X-Men: Just my version of the Brotherhood & X-Men. Did take shots of Sinister, Apoc, Omega, & a few other X-Men Nice collection, man! A few hard-to-find figures in there, Toad and Blob are figures I never got my hands on. Pretty sure Avalanche goes for decent money these days. Did you swap the new wings onto the old Archangel figure? Good eyes on the Angel wings, yes those are the new wings

It's May 1988, and WM IV is in the books! Randy Savage is reigning World Champion, and Honkytonk Man escaped with the I/C belt. The WWF has decided to add a third singles title, lesser in presteige than the IC belt. To introduce it, they've set up a 16 man tournament to crown the very first WWF TV Champion! Things to keep in mind: 1) Good 'ole Adrian Adonis never died, and decided to re-up with the WWF after his short stint in the AWA 2) Mike Rotunda has come back from the NWA and is debuting in this tournament 3) Jimmy Snuka is back early from his rehab/indy stint The bracket (unseeded) is as follows: Brutus Beefcake Ron Bass WINNER: Brutus BeefcakeKoko B. Ware Greg Valentine WINNER: Greg ValentineJunkyard Dog Bad News Brown WINNER: Junkyard DogDon Muraco Adrian Adonis WINNER: Don MuracoMike Rotunda Dino Bravo Bam Bam Bigelow Hercules Butch Reed Jimmy Snuka Ken Patera Rick Rude Matches will happen two at a time in the opening round! RESULTS1. Brutus Beeface defeats Ron Bass at 10:37 by rollup, while Bass argues with the referee over certain underhanded tactics that Bass though should be legalized. 2. Greg Valentine beats Koko B. Ware at 9:21 by submission with the Figure Four after Koko misses a top rope drop kick and hurst his knee in the process. 3. Junkyard Dog beats Bad News Brown at 12:19 by pinfall. After BNB hits the ghetti blaster, he is flabergasted that JYD is able to put his foot on the ropes before the three count. As the match continues, BNB perches himself on the second rope and comes off for hard punch to a standing but dazzed JYD. The Dog is able to come to, and catch BNB, muscle him onto his shoulder, and hit the THUMP slam for the pin! 4. Don Muraco beats Adrian Adonis at 13:51 by pinfall. As the match entered the 13 minute mark, Adonis applies the sleeper hold to Muraco in the middle of the ring. Muraco is still mobile and tries to mnuever himself out of the hold. Finally, he is able to get his momentum going towards a corner and ducks sending Adonis head first into a exposed top turnbuckle that Adonis exposed earlier in the match, knocking him out cold. in contrast, I think 1997 was the first time Vince truly elevated the tag titles and I/C title, when Owen & Davey Boy were HEAVY in the Hart Foundation versus the World fued. And it turned out to be a very exciting time for the WWF.

I think part of the issue was that, in other promotions, the Road Warriors were treated like main event talent. Regardless of who the world champ was, the Road Warriors were gonna go on as the ME or damn well near it. They fueded with Dusty, Flair, Russians, Freebirds, MXP, etc. who either were ME type talent in their own right, or got elevated to ME talent by the Road Warriors.
Then they come to the WWF, and the talent and show structure is different. Vince never crosspollinated his fueds. The Tag Title storylines were always mid-card and never elevated by rub from Hogan; same with the IC title. So, I think, regardless of when they came in, they would never have reached the level of sucess that they had previously, but had they come in in 1988/89 I agree that a fued with the Demos would have been much more exciting.

June,
I think I positioned the title well. Here is what I was thinking:
Beefcake: Just got beat by HTM at WM4. We know in real life he continues to his fued, but maybe in this scenario he becomes the very first TV champion and rides that to help bost his IC chances?
Rick Rude: Doesn't get his IC title shot until a year from WM4, perhaps a six month reigh as TV champion is just the thing he needs to build him.
Hammer, Muraco, Patera: In truth these guys were never gonna sniff the IC title again
Everyone else, I feel, is decently pegged.
Stinger, I left Warrior and Steamboat out on purposes, as in my mind Steamboat should never venture lower than I/C and Warrior was a few months away from trashing Honky. I did, however, error in not including Hacksaw and I should have included Jake. I also thought about including Mr. Perfect, but I knew he would win this easily, and I wasn't sure exactly when he came on (not that I couldn't have written him in like I did the others).
