Retired at 50-0-0. 8x KO of the Night. 3x Fight of the Night 2x Submission of the Night 2x UFC Champion (Won the Heavyweight Belt, then dropped to LHW) All Sponsors at 5 stars. The only 2 fights that went outside the 1st round were both submission wins, and it was only because I lost my submission attempt at the last seconds of the first. I've unlocked the HOF achievement, the Career Mode Completion achievement, the Level 3 Move achievement, and the Champion vs Champion achievement all in one career. All I'm really needing now (outside the online achievements) is the Ultimate Moments achievement, the Pride achievement, and the Submission in 60 Seconds on Hard achievement. Anyone have any tips on the last one? i was using Maia when I got the 60 second sub on expert. I might be confusing the weight class but i'm pretty sure drew mcfedries has the lowest sub defense at middleweight. just run in, clinch up, suplex, arm triangle/kimura and hope for the best. anyway, i finally retired my first expert CAF. i retired at 46-5, 3x LW Champ 2x WW champ 3x sub of the night 1x fight of the night 3x knockout of the night 1x fighter of the year in my 12th year ;D I'll probably start a MW on expert now. 46-5? Man, with that many fights what are all your skill rankings? All 100's? Also, how many moves did you acquire?

i need some help. i have been playing exhibition mode against the computer. i put it on the 2nd hardest difficulty. in like 8 matches, i got submitted 3-4 times....all very quickly. i had 90% of my health bar that was almost full. computer would get me in an armbar, i'd rotate the stick very quickly, and they'd still submit me extremely quickly, while i still had energy to spare. anyone know why this is? is there a good submission defense system? Others would know better because I don't stry into the upper difficulties, but the consensus is that the sub defense system is complete crap this year and the best way to avoid getting subbed is to not take a fight to the ground. I think they put out a patch that helped a little but still not that much.

So i'm starting my career tommorow, any hints, tips? If you haven't gotten the patch yet, use the ground & pound trick.

What camp do I get the head kick from? Have you gotten any camp logos yet? 25 visits is just stupid. . they shoulda made it 10. I know for a fact that the Flying Left Head Kick can be learned at either American or Brazilian Top Team. I think you can get it somewhere else but I'm not sure. And yes, I got the Brazilain Top Team logo. Just choose a camp with alot of moves that you like, and start training there from the start of your career. If you're going to try and get all level three on whatever you learn, then you'll have the 25 camp visits on no time. Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I just remember getting a ton of camp logos in 2009 and loving it. Thanks for the heads up though man.

Brock's Straight Left and The Flying Left Head Kick are the two greatest striking moves to give to you CAF. They're both very fast, and usually allow a follow up shot by another one, or something just as fast and powerful. What camp do I get the head kick from? Have you gotten any camp logos yet? 25 visits is just stupid. . they shoulda made it 10.

PDW,
Just so you know, you can now write-off the cost of your PPV's against the income you get from writing. Make sure you take that as a deduction.

The punching from from up/down position trick doesn't seem to earn 100+ sparring points anymore. I went from using that trick and getting like 80+ to only being able to get 50 points max after I got the apdate. What was the trick to begin with?

I liked the vaults, but some of them (Like 92) freaked me the ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) out. Some of the best experiances of the game IMO, allowed the developers to be more creative. I skipped the post about the reason for Vegas not being bombed, and PdW2Kx's reply, but can someone tell me without spoilers whether its a good reason? Cheers. I don't particularly think it is.

Yeah I know what you mean. In Fallout 1, you had three different groups of Raiders. Fallout 2 had a few of them. But Fallout 3 really didn't give them any personality besides that of being savage killers. Also does anyone else hate Vault 106? I was getting the Science Bobblehead, and forgot where the door to the entrance was. I spent like 20 minute trying to find it. ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) If that's the one with multiple levels of dorms, then yes I hate it as well.

A helpful hint when "Free Sparring" - Instead of trading shots, use your movement to sway away from them. When you get the chance, counter a shot with a takedown. Once you are on the ground, use the right stick to maintain control, and reverse any transitions. Reversals are worth the most points, and if you are on the ground the entire time, the other figher has not way to really get any points. Don't bother punching or kneeing, as those only count as one individual point. Stick with the transitions, but more importantly the reversals, and you should be able to bank about 100 to 450 points depending on your difficulty. Wow, is 100 points on the beginner level? Anyway, the reversals are still just tapping the left analog to the side when you see your opponent try to transition, right?

Go ahead, I really don't mind spoilers. You should probably put it in spoiler tags just to be safe, though. OK, I'll do it at home and type it word for word from the magazine.

I bought the Stratagy Guide for 5 bucks last night, and haven't made it to the Career Mode part, but it does look like it has a great deal of tips for actually building your fighter up and keeping him that way. So as soon as I have more info, I'll post it. However, it does give much more info on some of the newer or improved things. Also has a nice little section on each figher, including the exclusive ones, as far as how to play with them and how to beat them. They are pretty spot on too with their tips. PLEASE post them, or something lol. Trying to build your fighter effectively is like fighting the ocean. It's just annoying. It's pretty tough isn't it? I'm always one week away from a stat losing a point. . . . to the point where you're almost forced to put one point in each category in order to stop decay from happening.

Nice. Really loving how the Vegas strip is looking. Looks like you could spend hours just taking in the sights and sounds, and I'll probably do just that when I get the chance. But as a hardcore Fallout lore fan, there better be a DAMN good reason why Vegas wasn't nuked. That whole thing sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the lore. I've got faith they can pull it off, though, the story in F3 was downright masterful. Also, maybe it's because I had a REALLY bad day at work today, but is anyone else excited at the idea of just going completely psycho up and down the strip and killing anything that moves? Maybe it's just me. ![:-/](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/undecided.gif) I'll be pissed if the reason for Vegas not being bombed isn't fantastic - It just doesn't make sense to me within Fallout's background, and I fear that a fully working strip could ruin the Wasteland feel. Also, lol at the bloke puking in the walkthrough. Game Informer kinda gave a bare bones reason as to why. If you want me to spill it I will. Just let me know.
