I love Paul Menard's paint scheme this year. I can't pay $65 for the 1:24 but it sure would stand out in my collection.

Just curious, how do you display your 1/64 collection? I don't unless it's Scott Wimmer (because I don't have room lol). If they're loose and somewhat hard to find they sit in tackle boxes and if they're MOC they get put into a bin until I'm ready to animate (which I would do alot more of if my stuff would quit breaking) Even more curious now, what made you such a big Wimmer fan?

Yeah, the guy I bought it from on eBay occasionally lists his customs and really rare cars and they're usually pretty good. Just curious, how do you display your 1/64 collection?

Best advice I can give you is... Don't. Customizing is difficult, expensive, and ridiculously time consuming. If you have the patience and time though, go for it. This car took me well over a month. The hardest part is the decals. Finding them and learning to use water slide decals sucks. They're so fragile. I've only ever done 1/24 cars so each one has about $90 worth of supplies invested in each. $35-40 for correct make and model car $25-35 for decals $10-20 in paint $5 in clear coat $5 in brushes It'll be a lot cheaper with a 1/64, obviously. Still incredibly time consuming. I feel ya there...I think the hardest part would be the decals on a small ass car. I did a few model cars when I was younger, Dale Sr, Tim Richmond, Brett Bodine etc and those were fairly easy....something that small would be a bitch For sure. 1/24 is hard enough when you get down to smaller sponsors or headlights.

Any body else make customs? This was the last one I made a few years ago. That looks awesome...I want to make a 1/64th scale custom with my own personal # sponsors etc but I wouldnt know where to start honestly Best advice I can give you is... Don't. Eddie beat Brock, right? Is it believable that Owens could beat Eddie? I think so. Gotta book it right.

Picked up the Dale Jr Michael Baker and Keselowski spinmaster cars at target yesterday. Found the JR 1/64 Nationwide car at Bass Pro too. Not a bad day.

I almost got sucked in to a similar situation. A quick Google search of the company and about 10 minutes reading about it's history and legal issues was more than enough for me to say nah. Consider it a lesson learned. Chances are worth taking when you work a job that you either hate or has nothing to offer.

I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but I'll take the dvd, the shirt, the figure, the poster, the can coozie, the lanyard, the keychain, the bib, the socks, the sunglasses, the playing cards, the candle warmers, the oven mitts, the christmas ornament, the hat, the beanie, the hoodie, the belt, the cup, the statue... Anything with Owen on it.

Seeing these figures brings back so many memories. I have a few of the box sets at my parents house that I need to dig out. Buried alive, the champions set, and one other that I can't recall.

Hopefully Fish is gone for good. Found her character and story to be insanely boring.
