He got his revenge over Ted DiBiase and now he is looking to get revenge on a guy who made his career take a stumble downward. Hart is talking about Lex Luger. Hart knows that Luger is all shook up since losing to the Undertaker at KOTR, but when Luger gets his head on straight, Bret wants to be the guy who knocks it off again. Jerry Lawler makes his way out to the ramp and begins to laugh at Steiner. Lawler says that while Steiner has a lot to offer with his body and muscle, he lacks that much more in his head. Lawler doesn't believe Scott is anything more than a tag team wrestler who got lucky at KOTR. Lawler challenges Steiner to meet a true King at the next In Your House pay per view on July 24th! Steiner wastes no time accepting and says he will have no issue with beating Lawler's butt in twenty one days on pay per view! 4. ![](http://i440.photobucket.com/albums/qq121/ChosenOne1989/wcw1_zps86ec5f06.png) By April of 2000, World Championship Wrestling was free falling in popularity and couldn't find anything that could work to bring them back to being the number one company in America. They fired long-time WCW President Eric Bischoff in September and brought in highly successful WWF writer Vince Russo a month later. Russo lasted all of three months before he was fired, too.
However, WCW officials weren't confident with what Kevin Sullivan was providing and the ratings weren't jumping. So, WCW honchos thought that perhaps the previous success that Bischoff and Russo had in the past could repeat as they have them work together!
On April 1st, 2000 it was made official. Russo and Bischoff were put in charge of creative and the goal to overtake the almighty WWF has begun. Can they concide or will their visions tear them apart?
Russo and Bischoff have agreed that WCW Saturday Night and WCW Worldwide will now be cancelled and will purely focus on Nitro and Thunder moving forward. Be sure to tune into WCW Nitro when it returns to TNT on April 10th!

That comment irks me quite a bit. I feel like for a year people had been trying to get the HOF updated and it was pushed aside countless times. Now, it randomly comes up..at a time that the board has been dead, and now we don't care about the HOF? Listen, I know I haven't been here for the longest time in comparison to other bookers. But, I feel like myself and quite a few others have been jugging along with the booking to keep this place somewhat active. I personally do care about the HOF. I am actually quite disappointed that I am not even in the running. I believe I was mentioned by two people in the original post about the HOF, which bums me out. The whole idea that the board doesn't care about the HOF is not appreciated. At least not by me. I think your taking the comment way too seriously. It was just a comment to get people voting. It really wasn't meant to be taken seriously just for people to be more aware and vote. I understand that this has been a while coming and has popped up kinda random. This is mostly my fault since I haven't followed it up sooner. However you say the board has been pushing for an updated HOF which is absoulte rubbish. No one has asked about it, no ones complained and when the thread goes up it gets limited responses in mainly a half bothered detail. But I still expect even when the board is dead to get at least one reply. I check this board everyday which seems a bit excessive but even if you visit it once every few days I would have thought you would vote. It's the least complicated vote in the world so it wouldn't take no time. In regards to your own voting, I will of course look back and review it if you want. But it seems if you only had two votes then there's your problem, I had to limit the nominees somewhere otherwise half the board would go in. I sure did take it seriously. Maybe I'm in the minority, and this is fine, but I kind of aim to be seen as a HOF worthy booker. I try to think of stuff and write shows in a manner that would produce that. I'm not asking for a review of mine. I was stating that I got 2 mentions, which isn't even worthy of a discussion to begin with, which bummed me out. That's what I was saying.

Week 25: June 20th - June 26th
WWF RAW 6/20/1994 (first two-hour edition of the show) 1. the Kamikaze Kid & Marty Jannetty defeated The Heavenly Bodies in 8:05 when Kid pinned Del Ray after a moonsault. 2. Carlos Vega defeated Sean Franklin in 2:44 following a middle rope spinning heel kick. During the bout, Razor Ramon cut a promo on Vega saying that Ramon is ready for a war and that Vega is going to be ready to face a motivated and pissed off Bad Guy! 3. Ric Flair Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Ric Flair about his open challenge tonight. Flair first decides to brag about what he has done recently. He first beat Hogan at Mania X and just last night he was part of the reason that Randy Savage dream of one last run as WWF World Champion came to a crashing hault. Flair tells Ross that no matter who accepts his challenge tonight, they will be in for a surprise! 4. Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Greg Peterson in 2:56 following the Pedigree. During the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley cut a promo on Ron Simmons, the American Loser, in his mind. Hunter also noted that the rocker lifestyle that Marty Jannetty lives continues to disgust himself and Bob Backlund. 5. John Bradshaw Vignette: The vignette begins to a rugged man sitting at a bar with a beer in his hand, looking miserable. The man is talking about his 9-5 job and how much he dislikes it. He proceeds to grab his bottle and smashes it over a patron's head. “I wanna fight.” The man looks up and sees the WWF and begins to smile. “This is what I want. John Bradshaw, a fighter.” Coming soon. 6. Men on a Mission defeated Tim York & Joseph Sweet in 2:14 when Mabel pinned Sweet after a big splash. 7. Ludvig Borga defeated AJ Fatal in 2:16 following a shoulder breaker. 8. Kings Court w/ King Yokozuna: Jerry Lawler welcomes everyone to the show and promotes how King Yokozuna won the tournament last night and is his guest this week. Mr. Fuji, Johnny Polo and King Yoko make their way down to the ring to a course of boos. Polo puts over Yokozuna for going through the WWF and becoming the king that he always knew he was. Now, Yokozuna just has to wait a short period of time before he is rightfully the WWF World Champion. Polo tells the Undertaker that he may be some kind of supernatural creature but Yokozuna is a monster and will not defeated. Polo says that his group of men will be taking out the Undertaker before the showdown and that will begin tonight with Quebecer Jacques. Polo tells everyone that the Undertaker won't even make it to SummerSlam! The trio of men raise their arms with Polo signaling that the championship will be Yoko's. 9. Ron Simmons defeated Hank Riggs in 1:07 following a spine buster. 10. The British Bulldog defeated Barry Stevens in 2:33 following a running powerslam. During the match, Ted DiBiase shared a pre-tape promo saying that he is ready to meet Bulldog in the ring. DiBiase knows that with Diana's support, he will put the dog to sleep once and for all. 11. Rick Martel Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Martel and Tamara. McMahon notes that Martel lost to Scott Steiner last night and as a result, it was been announced that Scott Steiner is the new number one contender. Martel doesn't agree with the decision and says that Steiner is forever a tag team wrestler. Martel says he has the best looking woman in the world and he will be the WWF Intercontinental Championship for a long time to come. Tamara and Martel kiss while leaving Ross with a perplexed look. 12. WWF World Champion the Undertaker defeated Quebecer Jacques in 4:16 following a tombstone piledriver. After the match, Paul Bearer revealed that the Undertaker will make all of Johnny Polo's men rest in peace, ending with Yokozuna at SummerSlam! 13. Sparky Plugg Update: We get an update regarding the condition of Sparky Plug. Jim Ross tells us that early reports is that the brakes on Plugg's car appear to have been faulty and it will be looked into more. According to the crew chief, it “looked like as if they were cut.” More on these developments in the coming weeks. 14. Randy Savage defeated Ric Flair by DQ in 6:16 after the masked man entered the ring and attacked Savage along with Flair. Hulk Hogan ran down to the ring to make the save. At this time, Jeff Jarrett and Scott Norton run down to the ring and attack Hogan and Savage! Hogan tried to fight off Jarrett, and did so, but Norton clubbed Hogan over the back and allowed the heels to work over them. Flair, the maskedman, Norton and Jarrett stood over the babyfaces as the first ever two hour RAWcame to an end.
WWF Superstars 6/25/1994 1. Scott Steiner defeate Fred Johnson in 2:35 following the Frankensteiner. After the match, Jim Ross interviewed Scott Steiner who said that he may have come up short at the KOTR, but now that he is the number one contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, he will be putting all his focus on winning the gold not only for himself but for his injured brother Rick Steiner too! 2. IRS defeated Craig Hanson in 2:13 following a leaping lariat. 3. Bam-Bam Bigelow Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Bam-Bam Bigelow. Bigelow is laughing because Lex Luger loss his title match against the Undertaker at KOTR and no one has seen him since being rolled into the casket. Bigelow reminds everyone that Luger cost him his shot at the title a couple of months ago and Bigelow is out to get revenge on Luger for costing him that victory. Bigelow tells the fans that if Luger ever gets the courage to comeback to the WWF, there will be a beast from the east looking to extinguish Luger's career! 4. Crush defeated Frank Stevens in 2:05 following the Kona Vice. 5. Men on a Mission defeated Sage Timmons & Barry Horowitz in 2:09 when Mabel pinned Horowitz after a splash. 6. Shawn Michaels/Diesel Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with the WWF World Tag Team Champions. Michaels and Diesel are clearly quite happy with themselves as they are still the WWF World Tag Team Champions after KOTR. Michaels notes that and asks Ross who is there left for them to beat. There isn't any team in the WWF that can hold a candle to them and there aren't any threats to their championships. As Michaels continues to ramble and put themselves over, Samu and Fatu appear through the crowd and stand behind the champs in the ring. The crowd is liking this and the Headshrinkers spin the champs around before hitting double superkicks sending Michaels to the floor and staggering Diesel. The Headshrinkers clothesline Diesel over the top to the floor and stand tall in the ring while the champs are on the floor confused as to what the hell just happened to them. It looks like we have new challengers for the gold! 7. WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Martel defeated Samu in 6:18 when Martel used the ropes for leverage to get the win.
WWF Wrestling Challenge 6/26/1994 1. The Heavenly Bodies defeated Greg Patterson & Mike Sharpe in 3:08 when Del Ray pinned Sharpe after a moonsault. 2. Jerry Lawler defeated Mike Matthews in 2:44 following a piledriver. 3. Bret Hart Video: A video promoting Bret Hart is aired as it highlights Bret's run as WWF World Champion, and his troubles with losing the belt to Luger and the issues he had with DiBiase for most of '93 and some of '94. Now, Bret is looking for redemption and we will find out what he is looking to do this Monday on RAW! 4. Marty Jannetty Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Marty Jannetty regarding that Hunter Hearst Helmsley said about him on RAW. Marty says that Hunter thinks he is the best person in America and that everyone should be like him. Jannetty tells Ross that while he has made mistakes with his lifestyle, he has had fun and still managed to have a successful career in the WWF. Marty considers himself to be one of the best singles wrestlers and if Hunter wants to find that out the hard way, he will be more than happy to show him! 5. Owen Hart defeated Eric Hudson in 2:18 following a spinning heel kick. During the bout, Chris Benoit cut a promo on Owen challenging him to a best two out of three falls match at the MSG house show on July 16th. Benoit wants to prove he is the best once and for all by beating Owen twice in one night! 6. Ted DiBiase defeated Tatanka in 7:15 with the Million $ Dream.

Personally, I thought a lot of the results were the right decision but there were a few areas that I disliked a great deal. It's a strong show, but the decision to have HBK go over is upsetting to me. I was really hoping that you would have done something different, but instead you just made one slight change to the way it was booked. So, that was really disappointing. I'd hope that Owen feuds with HBK once Michaels wins the belt, which I would imagine is the direction you're going here.

WWF King of the Ring Date: 6/19/1994 From: Baltimore, Maryland Attendance: 12,000 Announcers: Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan A video promoting the King of the Ring airs. Lex Luger winning the tournament last year and winning the WWF World Championship is shown. Who will the KOTR tonight and will history continue to work in their favor? The journey to be king, begins tonight! Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to Baltimore, Maryland for the King of the Ring! Vince hypes up the show as being the first big show of the summer and they can't wait to see who the king of the WWF will be. Bobby Heenan predicts that the mighty Yokozuna will win the tournament while McMahon is going to go with Randy Savage. Heenan laughs at McMahon because Savage is a weak man because of Ric Flair and the masked man. Bobby is confident that Savage won't even make it to the ring! They also promote the WWF World Championship match between The Undertaker and Lex Luger, which is a casket match. Heenan believes that Luger will overcome any sort of fear and win the WWF World Championship because he badly needs it. McMahon disagrees believing that the Undertaker is an unstoppable force. With that, they send it to the ring to kick off the 1994 King of the Ring! Opening Contest: Owen Hart vs. Chris Benoit in a 1994 KOTR Tournament Match: A mat wrestling start to the match until Benoit nailed Owen with a short arm clothesline and a backbreaker. Benoit delivered a series of vicious chops in the corner and hit a northern lights suplex for a two count. Owen was able to hurdle over Benoit to avoid a backdrop and dropkicks Benoit chest first into a corner. Owen followed up with a back suplex off the middle rope for a two count of his own. Owen came off the top to hit a cross body and went to the top rope again to hit a missile dropkick but Benoit got his foot on the bottom rope. Benoit blocked a spinning heel kick and connected with two snap suplexs. Benoit tried for the Crossface late in the match, but Owen was able to counter with a roll up to win the match and advance in the tournament! Polo grabs the crown and robe and asks for the king to stand up. Yoko raises and holds his arms out to the side. Polo puts the robe on Yoko and places the crown on Yoko's head. Typically when challengers beat champions singles matches the champions will retain the titles in the eventual tag team title match. I like the idea of a feud between Benoit and Vader. The promo didn't seem like what Vader would sound like. But, that type of stuff could be hard to write, I guess. Yeah, Brown is probably going to turn babyface with Rock and Henry not believing in him. Interested to see where Goldust/Hart goes. I liked the segment between HHH and Shamrock. Hunter is such a douche. A huge main event to close out a rather solid edition of RAW. Keep the great work, man. This is a gem of a diary.

Like most diaries on here, it's hard for me to keep up with what's going on. So, I really don't know what is going on all that much, so this could be a bad reply to the biggest show of the year for the diary. For some reason, I really like the choice for the opening match. Brown and Goldust work a certain way that would make me think they would have a really good match.
A flare gun to the face six days before WrestleMania and Kane is still able to compete? That seems like an odd time to have that happen and Kane not selling it for all that long. Not much of a match as you went with the DQ finish. I'd just imagine the point of this is for a Kane/Shane match at some point?
Wasn't all that intersted in the Hardcore Championship match, but Al Snow being associated with Jackyl is interesting. The debut of Rhyno is a little bit puzzling and early. Rhyno was virtually unknown, even in ECW as he hadn't made a splash yet and there wasn't character development for him at that point. He isn't anywhere near what he would become a year or so later... and thus it will be interesting how you promote him. I hope it's not the same character he had in ECW because that wasn't a WWE creation, but rather a Heyman one. He needed that time in ECW, I think.
A good tag team match and it's good to see the babyface team get the win so the crowd can go nuts. This seems like the turning point of the show as maybe the show will go to the next level.
A very good match between Owen and Jericho. That's a match I wish the WWF would've been able to put on and I'm glad you put them on at WrestleMania.
Part of me thinks that having Rock and Mankind in a tag match at WrestleMania XV is a waste of the two men, but then again their involvement against the Acolytes and in the WWF World Tag Team title picture brings more importance to the championships, so in the end I don't mind. I'm starting to think that this is the end of the Corporation and Ministry as the titles change hands here. Seemed like a fine match, as well.
I like the history in the four man match with Venis getting in Ken's head while Shane sent Jarrett and RVD after Venis. I like the dynamic of that. I thought it was interesting that Venis was able to retain the championship. Hopefully Val has big plans moving forward.
It looks like Vader's run in the WWF is over. That's how I'm taking the aftermath of the match. I can't say it would be a bad decision, really.
A great main event and awesome for Austin to regain the WWF World Championship. The Ministry didn't get much of anything on this show, with Show being the only one to win a match for the group it looked like. It looks like a new era is in place for the WWF. Plus, I'd assume Taker is turning face again after the chokeslam on Vince? Guess I should tune into RAW.
Overall, a good show. A lot of babyfaces went over, which seems to be a normal for WrestleMania. Good job, man.

Week 24: June 14th - June 19th
WWF RAW 6/13/1994 1. Doink the Clown defeated Tracy Smothers in 2:36 following the Whoopee Cushion. 2. Kings Court w/ Crush: Jerry Lawler introduces his guest this week, the man who attacked the British Bulldog last week, Crush! Crush comes down and shakes hands with Lawler before talking about what he did last week. Crush says that he was approached by Ted DiBiase with a “significant amount of money” to make sure that everything went the way he wanted. Crush goes on to say that when given the money he was given, he decided why not. “Why not, King? Get money for beating someone up you don't like anyway?” Crush continues by noting that the British Bulldog wants a piece of DiBiase, but sadly, Crush says that's not going happen. Instead, Crush issues a challenge to Bulldog for this Sunday at King of the Ring. Crush wants to collect all the money and take Bulldog out so DiBiase and Diana can live peacefully and he can have a secure bank account. Crush tells King that it's all about the money and being able to take one of the WWF's heroes out at the same time. 3. Ron Simmons defeated Glen Ruth in 1:44 following a spine buster. During the match, Bob Backlund shared some pre-tape comments saying that Simmons is nothing but a loser and the fans need to wake up and admire Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Simmons couldn't beat Helmsley last month, and there will never be a month where Simmons will be able to beat Helmsley. 4. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Chris Carver in 2:08 following a diving headbutt. During the match, Randy Savage cut a promo regarding the KOTR this Sunday. Savage says that Bigelow is the first man to stand in his way of the ultimate goal in getting the WWF World Championship back. Randy says he will drop an elbow on Bigelow to extinguish his fire! 5. Ric Flair Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Ric Flair. Flair and the masked man make their way down to the ring to be interviewed. McMahon talks about how Savage has mentioned the possibility of the Mega Powers making a return to take on Flair and the masked man in the future. Ric asks Vince why he should be afraid of the idea of wrestling Savage and Hogan in the ring. Flair recalls having beaten Savage and Hogan in singles matches. With a partner like the masked man by his side, they will be able to unplug the Mega Powers. “Hogan, Savage, the Nature Boy accepts your challenge. The Mega Powers are not a force in wrestling. Ric Flair is!” Flair and the masked man proceed to leave the ring as McMahon wonders when we will see the huge tag team match! 6. IRS defeated Scott Taylor in 2:12 following a lariat. 7. Scott Steiner defeated Ludvig Borga in 9:09 following a double underhook powerbomb. During the match, WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Martel attempted to interfere but backfired as he was knocked off the apron by Steiner.
WWF Superstars 6/18/1994 1. Lex Luger defeated Tom Carlson in 2:16 with the Torture Rack. After the match, the lights went out and when they came back on, a casket appeared at ringside, causing Luger to leave through the crowd. Will Luger be able to overcome this obvious fear of caskets this Sunday?! 2. British Bulldog Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with the British Bulldog. Ross notes that is has been made official earlier in the week that Bulldog will wrestle Crush at KOTR. Bulldog tells Ross that what happened to him last week on RAW was the most embarrassing moment, ever. Having divorce papers shoved into his mouth after being beaten up from behind is something he will never forget about. Now, the fury he feels inside will be first let out on Crush, the man who delivered the violent attack. Once he gets done with Crush, he will get Ted DiBiase in the ring and move on forever. “I don't want Diana back, I want to break DiBiase's back. He ruined my life. I want to end his career.” 3. Razor Ramon defeated Greg Stevens in 2:56 following the Razors Edge. During the match, Carlos Vega appeared on the big screen and tells Ramon to watch his back. Vega is out for revenge. 4. The Kamikaze Kid & Marty Jannetty defeated Larry Johnson & Mike Sharpe in 2:33 when Jannetty pinned Sharpe. During the match, WWF World Tag Team Champions Diesel and Shawn Michaels say that they aren't worried about these two “kids”. The WWF World Tag Team Championships will stay around their waist. 5. Yokozuna Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Johnny Polo, Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna. McMahon promotes the KOTR, which Yokozuna is competing in. Polo says that at King of the Ring one of his guys is finally going to be getting what they deserve. He says Yokozuna has been beating people up for two years and never got a WWF World Championship shot while doing so. Now, he has to go through three matches before getting a title shot that he has long deserved. Polo feels sorry for Tatanka, because he is going to be the first victim as Yokozuna will become the WWF World Champion at SummerSlam! Polo finishes off the promo saying that he is the greatest manager of all-time and all of his men will be champions! 6. Scott Norton defeated Tim Williams in 2:18 following a shoulder breaker. After the match, Jeff Jarrett gets a microphone and tells everyone that in just two days, on RAW, himself and Norton are going to be on everyone's mind and they will not be forgotten about again! 7. Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Mo in 4:32 after hitting the Pedigree. After the match, Hunter tried to hit a second Pedigree, but Mabel came out to make the save. As Hunter walked up the ramp way, Ron Simmons appeared and attacked Hunter. Hunter and Bob Backlund ran away with Simmons chasing after them to close the show.
WWF Wrestling Challenge 6/19/1994 1. Tatanka defeated Frank Jensen in 2:14 following a Samoan Drop. During the match, Tatanka recorded pre-tape comments saying that he is going to make Native Americans proud when he wins the King of the Ring tournament and wins the WWF World Championship at SummerSlam! 2. Chris Benoit Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Chris Benoit regarding the KOTR. Benoit talks about how his record against Owen Hart is 1-1 and says he has been beating himself up for having lost to a second rate wrestler like Owen Hart. At KOTR, Benoit is going to right the wrong and take all his frustration out by making Owen tap out until his hand falls off. Benoit mentions that he has beaten Owen, which will be two times after Sunday, and he has beaten Jim Neidhart. Benoit hints at wanting a piece of the best of them all, Bret Hart, to prove what he is all about. 3. The Heavenly Bodies defeated Matt Hardy & Vito Lograsso in 2:45 when Del Ray pinned Hardy. 4. Sionne defeated PJ Walker in 2:39 following a middle rope shoulder block. 5. The Undertaker Interview: A video of the WWF World Champion and Paul Bearer finishing up the casket is aired. Bearer says in just a few hours Lex Luger will be resting peacefully inside the casket and the Undertaker will remain the WWF World Champion. Bearer knows that Luger is afraid of the dark and will not be able to dethrone the Undertaker. The Undertaker looks up from the casket and simply says “Lex Luger.... your time to rest in peace....has arrived.” 6. WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Martel defeated Bart Gunn in 8:19 with the Boston Crab. After the match, Scott Steiner appears on the aisle way and taunts Rick Martel as they will meet each other at KOTR! ![](http://i440.photobucket.com/albums/qq121/ChosenOne1989/KOTR94poster_zpsbf3d67c6.png) For the WWF World Championship: (casket match) [champion] The Undertaker defends against Lex Luger
