I'm being a bit anal but you've spelt my name wrong in the Hall of Fame thread. How dare you wish to have your name spelled correctly! I fixed it. My bad!

HOF thread has been updated with new inductees, though I can't find Penguin's WWF that was voted in. Congrats everyone.
Also, I've noticed some new writers here. Welcome to the board.

Shouldn't they be induction speeches by other members? I'm down for doing any. I did the majority of the 2014 class because nobody else wanted to. Induction or acceptance speeches, whichever.

Since there hasn't been any objection to the list of diaries included, and since it has been a substantial amount of time since there has been an induction class, here are the diaries and writers who have been unanimously voted to join the Sims Hall of Fame. Everyone, feel free to leave a speech for your diary, and I'll update the HOF thread later this weekend when I have free time.
Congrats to everyone!

Week #5: January 30th - February 5th, 1995 /div] WWF RAW 1/30/1995 1. John Bradshaw defeated Psycho Sid by disqualification in 5:09 when Sid power bombed Bradshaw through the announcers table at ringside. 2. Doink the Clown & Hughie The Clown defeated Men On A Mission in 7:14 when Doink pinned Mo following a Whoopee Cushion. Mabel was busy chasing Hughie after getting a pie to the face. 3. Rick Steiner Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Steiner, who comes out wearing the belt over his neck. Ross talks about the Royal Rumble where Rick won the WWF Intercontinental Championship from his brother, Scott Steiner. Ross notes that Rick used his headgear to get the victory. Rick tells Ross that growing up, they were ruthless and they never followed by the rules. So, it’s not his fault that he capitalized on the right mentality to beat his brother Scott. While Scott was out making a name for himself and Rick was hurt, Rick came back and brought notice to the WWF and the stupid fans that he is the better Steiner. Ross tells Rick that Scott does have a rematch, and it’s being speculated that it will happen at WrestleMania XI. Rick doesn't care because he would love the opportunity to embarrass his brother at the biggest event of all and raise the WWF Intercontinental Championship over his fallen brother. 4. Randy Savage defeated Quebecer Pierre in 5:11 following an elbow drop. During the match, Bam-Bam Bigelow shared some pre-tape comments regarding a lumberjack match between himself and Savage next week. Bigelow says that on RAW, the Macho Man will be broken in front of the world once and for all. 5. Arn Anderson & Scott Norton defeated Mark Morrison & Iron Mike Sharpe in 2:33 when Norton pinned Sharpe after a shoulder breaker. 6. Mr. Perfect Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Mr. Perfect. Perfect says that he loves seeing a young punk like Hunter Hearst Helmsley get so frustrated with the fact that he isn’t better than Mr. Perfect, just like so many wrestlers before him. Perfect says that he is far from being done with his career, and that Helmsley will not be the man to end his career, which Hunter is apparently obsessed with achieving. McMahon asks if Perfect is willing to give Helmsley a rematch in the future. Perfects has a smirk and says that he will gladly pin Helmsley’s shoulders to the mat once again, just name the time and place, Helmsley. 7. Hakushi defeated Scott Taylor in 3:15 following a top rope moonsault. This is the television debut for Hakushi. 8. Scott Steiner defeated Crush in 5:14 following a double under hook power bomb. 9. Bret Hart/Owen Hart/Chris Benoit Interview/Confrontation: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Owen Hart, who is giddy and glowing with confidence since his victory over Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble. Owen tells Ross that since he was victorious over Bret Hart, he’s been thinking and he believes that he is the best Hart in the family. Owen credits Bret with his past accomplishments but asks what has Bret done lately? Owen says that 1995 is the year of Owen Hart and he started it off with a victory over not only his brother but the former WWF World Champion. Owen thinks that this should lead to a WWF World Championship match and he’ll make Yokozuna tap out, unlike Bret! Soon after, Bret Hart comes down to the ring and has a confused look on his face. Bret asks what is going on here, and tells Owen that he respects his ability, but to talk about him in a past tense is insulting and Bret believes that the WWF World Championship is something he will obtain in the future. Owen backtracks a little bit, but gloats about beating Bret but assures his brother that he respects him. Chris Benoit comes down to the ring and makes a comment saying that it sounds like Bret isn't respecting Owen and is making it sound like Owen isn't on the same level of Bret, which Bret has always done. Bret denies that claim but Benoit notes that when they were at the Dungeon, Bret would never give credit to Owen and never would compete with Owen because he was scared and now its proven since Owen defeated Bret on live pay per view, which was the biggest fear in Bret’s life. Owen seems to be acting like he is recalling this and is agreeing with Benoit. Benoit challenges Bret, not to fight him but to rather compete against Owen live on RAW. Bret scoffs at the challenge and Owen chimes in asking, “Bret, maybe Benoit’s right…” Bret stalls for a moment and says if Owen wants to wrestle on national television, then they can make that happen. Benoit smiles with his accomplishment as Owen and Bret shake hands as Benoit leaves the ring. 10. Jeff Jarrett defeated Chris Kanyon in 2:33 following a jumping DDT. During the match, Razor Ramon shared some pre-tape comments saying that he is going to break Jarrett’s jaw so that Jarrett will shut up once and for all. 11. Shawn Michaels Calls Out Lex Luger: Shawn Michaels is fired up upon his entrance and cuts Jim Ross off from speaking. Michaels recalls last week and how Luger attacked him from behind like the true coward that he is. Michaels is out here calling Lex out to the ring to face him like a man, one on one. Michaels believes that Luger knows that he isn't the man he use to be and that’s why he had to hit him from behind. He knows that if he stood face to face with the Heartbreak Kid, he’d be dropped just like that. Ross informs Michaels that he is being told that Luger isn't here this week. Michaels laughs and tells Ross that there will come a time when Luger will have to be in the same building as him again, and when that happens, Luger will not forget about the mistake he made when he hit him from behind because he is coming right at him. 12. Brian Lee defeated Barry Horowitz in 1:44 following a top rope knee drop. During the match, Rick Martel shared pre-tape comments issuing a challenge to Brian Lee for next week on RAW. 13. Hulk Hogan Sit Down Interview: Vince McMahon conducted a sit down interview with Hogan at Hulk’s home talking about Hulk’s failure to win the WWF World Championship at the Royal Rumble. Hogan is disappointed in himself for letting down his fans for not dethroning Yokozuna at the event. Hulk admits that since the loss he has been reflecting and wondering if he has what it takes to take on the new, younger generation competing in the WWF. He was having doubts, but then he heard his name uttered by Ron Simmons and it turned his stomach. Hogan doesn't believe that Simmons and the Movement have been held back due to the color of their skill, as they have been saying, but rather because they don't win the big matches when they need to. Hogan has been in the spotlight because he wins the big matches and the fans believe in him, and they will always believe in him. Hulk tells McMahon that next week on RAW, Hogan will return and wants to meet Simmons face to face in the middle of the ring. 14. Diesel defeated Jerry Lawler in 5:02 following the Jackknife power bomb. After the match, Diesel stomped on Lawler’s crown and signaled for the WWF World Championship to be around his waist. WWF Superstars 2/4/1995 1. Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Bob Bradley in 2:43 following the Pedigree. 2. The British Bulldog defeated Greg Valentine in 2:49 following a running power slam. 3. The Smoking Gunns defeated Duane Gill & Barry Hardy in 2:55 when Billy pinned Gill. 4. IRS defeated Mark Johnson in 2:44 following a lariat. 5. WWF World Tag Team Champions Tatanka, Carlos Vega & Ron Simmons defeated Marty Jannetty, The Kamikaze Kid & Bob Holly in 9:44 when Simmons pinned Holly following a spine buster.

I'd think that the Mr. Irrelevant thing would perhaps eventually lead to Axel actually winning a match where he can then rub it in everyones face that he is relevant. I doubt that's ever going to happen, but it would be logical.

Congrats Bob. I think the problem you'll find is there just isn't enough activity. There's not enough people around regularly to make that much of a difference. I think you need to be careful too, if you put too many rules/guidelines in place it's going to turn people off. After all, we are just doing this for fun. I know your only putting ideas out there but I'm just saying. I used to be with you on the whole long diaries are better argument but I've found that isn't always the case. Yes, they need to have some degree of longevity but putting a limit on it is too much I'd say. I'm up for the interview thing, always been a good idea. It's just like I said, not much activity. Same with HOF, I would guess there wouldn't be much votes. But don't limit what goes in. There hasn't been anything added in ages. If it deserves to go in, then it should go in. I'm trying to avoid future situations where someone starts 5 diaries in a month and none of them materialize. And, for HOF it would be difficult for me to think a short diary (no matter how good) to go in. There needs to be a balance of quality and quantity attached to it. The guidelines are more or less hoping that people, new or old, take time to plan out their stuff and remain committed to it. Certainly not someone to be a dictator here. I'll get a thread for HOF up soon and go from there.

Hello, everyone. Whether you’ve been on WFigs for a substantial amount of time, or whether you’ve been here for just a few months, I welcome you to the board.
Thanks to Chris Hammers for the suggestion and quick approval for my role. I hope to be fair and make this place a little more fun to be around and new members jump onboard.
I’ll be the first to say, that over the last several years, I just post my WWF ’95 shows and mind my own business. Seemingly around me, the board has become less active and less feedback driven. I personally feel the mandatory reply for reply system never truly worked, nor would there be any real critical feedback given to anyone. It would always been “this was a good show”. Lets face it, we aren’t/weren’t the best bookers or writers. I feel like very few people gave honest feedback to help people become better writers (most notably Dan, for myself.)
If you have ideas or desires for the board, send me a PM.
There needs to be a better commitment to diaries. I do not want to become a strict leader of the board, but there needs to be proper planning for diaries. I don't know about others, but for my two most successful diaries (WCW 2000, and WWF ’93-95), when I first started it I literally planned out six months of pay per view cards and had ideas how to get there. I’ve written things I didn’t like, and I’ve just booked myself out of the situation. Often times, people write themselves into a corner and just give up. So, I’m thinking of challenging people. If you start a diary and give up after three posts, you need approval to begin another one.
Myself, Dan, Kev, HEELRyan, Snickel, Jord and Dragon (just off the top of my head) are examples of people who have created long-running diaries. I find it incredibly frustrating when the same person has 5 diaries on the front page. I know it’s less active as it once was, but regardless. Find your niche and stick with it. That’s how you get to a HOF diary.
Speaking of Hall of Fame… I will NOT be eliminating any diaries from that group. They were voted in at their respected times and they shall remain in.
However, for as long as I am a mod… I will have some guidelines to it. I think that a diary should have 6 months to a year worth of ORIGINAL booking. Often times, I see people keep the same story lines for the first month or two and don't venture out. So, I’m kind of leaning towards a year long of in diary time before they are considered for the HOF.
Another idea, and I’m probably going to do this for mine. I think it would be a good idea if the writers of a diary give an up to date “this is what’s going on in my diary” so that people who first arrive or haven't read a diary can get a feel for what’s going on. I’d make a thread for that, I think. And update accordingly.
Another idea, and I’ve mentioned this before, was to interview writers on their previous diaries and just do something similar to Kayfabe Commentaries. I know that I have my own reasons for booking plans and maybe ideas that I never managed to do, such as with my WCW 2000. I think that would be interesting.
Also, I was never aware of the issues regarding past members. I know there were plenty of great writers who no longer come to the board for whatever reason. I will say this… I have no problem with giving second chances. If you are someone who was “blacklisted” or whatever from this board, get in touch with me and I’ll have no problem welcoming them back to the board.
Lastly, I’m thinking of going through and reading the diaries that I have neglected and start from the beginning and give replies. I remember doing this for Mike Bockwinkel a long time ago. First, it was fun to do that and I think he appreciated it. So, I might try to make time to do that for everyone.
That’s all I can think of currently. If you have any questions, reply in this thread… if you have any suggestions for the board, send me a PM and we can discuss that.
I’ll likely make a voting for the HOF thread in the coming days. Considering a lack of activity, I’m not sure how many I’d put in at one time.
Talk to you guys soon.

Week #4: January 23rd - January 29th /div] WWF RAW 1/23/1995 1. Owen Hart defeated The Brooklyn Brawler in 2:40 with the Sharpshooter. After the match, Owen Hart was interviewed by Jim Ross and was overly pumped up bragging about defeating his brother Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble last night. Owen proclaimed to be the best Hart and that it is his time to shine in the WWF. 2. Kings Court w/Diesel: Jerry Lawler welcomes us to the Kings Court, but he isn't thrilled about his guest, the man who won the Royal Rumble match last night. That’s right, his guest tonight is the number one contender to King Yokozuna’s WWF World Championship, Diesel! Diesel makes his way down to the ring fist pumping fans before stepping over the top rope and joining Lawler in the ring. Lawler tells Diesel that he got lucky last night since Lawler had hurt himself just moments before getting involved as he tweaked his back and he could have thrown out everyone if he was healthy enough. Lawler says that Diesel has the opportunity of a lifetime to main event WrestleMania XI for the WWF World Championship, but he believes that Diesel will run out of fuel when it comes to defeating a champion like King Yokozuna. Diesel chuckles at Lawler saying that he is living a dream and nothing is going to get in his way. He knows that Yokozuna is a big man, but every man takes the Jackknife. Diesel is hungry for the gold and Yokozuna has the one that he wants, and what Diesel wants, he always gets. WrestleMania XI is the beginning of the era of Diesel and Big Daddy Cool is going to bring the WWF to the greatest heights, surpassing even the glory years of Hulkamania, brother. Lawler calls Diesel one cocky, delusional human being. Lawler even suggests that if he were healthy he would knock Diesel down a beg. Diesel gets in Lawler’s face and suggests that Lawler do something about it. Lawler backs off and Diesel proclaims that at WrestleMania XI, Big Daddy Cool is going to be the WWF World Champion, and everyone is going to have to accept that. King Yokozuna, you’ve had a good run, but the run ends here. As Diesel goes to walk away, Lawler attempts to cheap shot Diesel but Diesel turns around in time to scare Lawler out of the ring. Lawler runs up the aisle way while Diesel plays to the fans and signals for the gold coming around his waist. 3. Razor Ramon defeated Mark Murphy in 2:33 following the Razors Edge. During the match, Jeff Jarrett shared some pre-tape comments saying that Ramon was oozing nothing but being a coward since Ramon hasn't stepped in the ring with Double J. Ramon may have beaten Arn Anderson a few weeks ago but Ramon won’t be able to defeat the greatest star out of Tennessee, “Double J” Jeff Jarrett, and you can count on that. 4. Hakushi Vignette: A video promoting the debut of the greatest Japanese warrior is aired. Hakushi will make his debut next week on RAW. 5. Ron Simmons Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Ron Simmons, the leader of the Movement. Ross mentions that Simmons came ever so close to winning the Royal Rumble but came up just a little bit short. Simmons is annoyed with the mentioning of his failure. Simmons says that he let down Tatanka and Carlos Vega with his screw job result last night, but they remain with him on the Movement and he is confident that the WWF World Championship will be his in short time. Simmons believes he shouldn't have been in the Royal Rumble match to begin with and should have gotten a WWF World Championship match instead of Hulk Hogan. “Why would Hulk Hogan get a title shot? I’ve been dominating the WWF and putting people on notice while Hogan just waved the American flag.” He notes that Hogan got destroyed and yet the fans continue to love him. Hogan continues to get top spots on the card, the main events that Simmons himself deserves. Simmons tells Ross that he is a main event guy, that he is a World Champion and he is demanding to be treated as such. Simmons says that the Movement is surpassing Hulkamania and Simmons is issuing a challenge to Hulk Hogan. “I’m tired of Hogan getting the spotlight and it is time that I dim the light on his career. It’s time for the Movement to get recognition and that recognition will be the group that ended Hulkamania once and for all.” 6. Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Mark Starr in 2:13 following a Pedigree. After the match, Helmsley delivered another Pedigree on Starr after yelling “this is for you Perfect.” Helmsley is determined to get his hands on Perfect. 7. The British Bulldog defeated Frank Reynolds in 1:44 following a running power slam. After the match, Chris Benoit appeared on the aisle way looking down at the ring with a smug look on his face. 8. Psycho Sid & Ted DiBiase Interview: Ted DiBiase and Psycho Sid shared some pre-tape comments regarding the Royal Rumble and how it’s not much of a concern that Sid wasn’t able to win the Rumble. DiBiase says that with his money he can get Sid in any main event at any point in time. Sid is pissed and DiBiase says that next week they will be offering an open challenge to anyone that thinks they can handle Psycho Sid. 9. Lex Luger/Shawn Michaels Confrontation: Jim Ross introduces Lex Luger who comes out wearing a cape and his Phantom of the Opera type mask since his apparent facial injury thanks to Diesel last year. Luger remembers a time when he was the face of the WWF as the WWF World Champion with his face all over the posters and now ever since Diesel destroyed his face, the WWF doesn't promote him and he isn't even in the running for the WWF World Championship. Luger believes that Diesel has ruined his career and life and now is the number one contender. Luger tells Ross that even with his injuries (which are all in his head, he is fine), he is still the most attractive man in the business and should be the face of the WWF. At that moment, Shawn Michaels’ music hits and out walks the Heartbreak Kid. Michaels mocks Luger for his crying and says that in order to be at the top you have to be the best in this business and his buddy Diesel proved that last night at the Royal Rumble. Michaels says its just a matter of time before he gets his moment, but the moment for Luger has passed him by and its nothing but downhill from here. Michaels notes that Luger is a former champion and he is the future champion. Luger asks who Michaels thinks he is. Luger says he deserves much more respect than this and should be applauded for coming back from a career threatening facial injury. Luger isn't going to allow Michaels to speak to him like that. Michaels asks what he is going to do then? Luger acts like he is going to walk away but as Michaels and Ross turn their back, Luger comes off the ropes and decks Michaels with running forearm to the back of the head. Luger grabs Michaels and puts the Torture Rack leaving Michaels lifeless before dropping him down. Luger gets the microphone and says that Michaels will find out firsthand that Lex Luger isn't over the hill and has just begun. 10. Duke Droese defeated IRS in 4:07 by disqualification when IRS hit Droese with his steel briefcase. 11. Scott Steiner Interview: Vince McMahon brings out Scott Steiner for an interview regarding his championship loss to Rick Steiner at the Royal Rumble last night. Scott says he worked hard while Rick was injured to win a singles championship only for his brother to get jealous and cheat his way to take it away from him. Scott says that it’s hardly over between himself and his brother and if Rick wants to cheat, then he wants a match where cheating is encouraged. He wants a rematch with Rick Steiner and wants it to be a no holds barred street fight. Scott wants his brother to prove that he isn't afraid of him when it comes to their being no way to hide and cheat his way to victory. 12. Randy Savage defeated Arn Anderson in 10:52 following an elbow drop. After the match, Bam-Bam Bigelow attacked Savage hitting a top rope diving head butt after delivering a DDT. The Smoking Gunns ran down to the ring to chase off Bigelow. 13. The Undertaker & Paul Bearer Interview: Paul Bearer and the Undertaker are at a cemetery where Paul Bearer praises the Undertaker for his destruction of Scott Norton last night at the Royal Rumble. Now, they have a new target and that is the leader of the Dynasty, Ric Flair, who decided to attack the Undertaker following the bout. Bearer tells the Nature Boy that there is nowhere to hide as the Undertaker shall find him and put him out to pasture, just as he had done with Scott Norton. Undertaker chimes in and says that Flair glamorous lifestyle will meet and gloomy demise when they meet in the ring. It’s time for the nature boy to meet his maker, and he shall rest in peace.” 14. WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Steiner defeated Marty Jannetty in 8:36 following a bulldog from the middle rope. After the match, Scott Steiner attempted to get to the ring but officials held him back while Rick taunted Scott with the championship. WWF Superstars 1/28/1995 1. WWF World Tag Team Champions Tatanka & Carlos Vega defeated Chris Kanyon & Scott Taylor in 3:54 when Vega pinned Kanyon after a spinning heel kick. 2. Scott Norton defeated Bob Holly in 4:06 following a shoulder breaker. 3. Doink the Clown defeated Jacob Bryant in 2:15 following the Whoopee Cushion. 4. Mr. Perfect defeated Drew Johnson in 2:14 following the Perfect Plex. 5. Bret Hart defeated Mark Coleman in 2:40 with the Sharpshooter.

LLBD responds a lot faster than Jack, LLBD has made the thread in the admin board for Jack to make the changes. Shouldn't be long. Congrats Bob, well deserved. Now, be active and make a difference. First objective, should be to sort out the HOF. Until it officially happens, then I won't make any kind of statement or anything. #kayfabe

Made the thread in the MOD board today, handing in both my MOD responsibilities. The person I'd want to be MOD of this board, DTP, can't as he knows cause of silly warning bar rules that should be abolished but ah well. Anyone got any MOD recommendations? Bob? If you're suggesting me as a MOD, I'd have no problem doing it.

Honestly, my goal from the beginning has been to get in the Hall of Fame. I know this is just a hobby but I really enjoy telling stories and writing them out. My WCW 2000 - rebooking a disaster got me hooked, but I'm most proud of the WWF '93 - '95 because I've maintained some realism and been able to be creative. I hope with my bigger plans moving forward people are aware of the story development and character development, which is vital.

And while I'm looking at the HOF. Let's just put some new diaries in. I'm probably missing some but here's some I think deserve to go in just looking at the last few pages: The Kevstaaa - Current WWE underjohngrohs- WWF/WCW snickelodeon - TNA Bob Bob Bobelow - WWFJord - TNA Mike Bockwinkel - TCW DTP - both WWF 1998 and 1996 his current NJPW Ace Bennett - ISW Penguin - WWF That's flattering. It's the one diary that I've been consistently doing and continually thinking of ideas for.
