So I guess no Ciampa and Cross is official They did say that it was an "almost complete" build of the game. I'm not believing that the game really doesn't include Ciampa or Cross until I have my copy of the game. Because it would be so dumb to remove them. I think that this is just trolling to get over Ciampa's heel gimmick.

Fantastic news. I just really hope they don't waste him on 205 Live. Put him on RAW or SmackDown Live.

Honestly, I don't understand why so many people still believe that Cross and Ciampa are not in the game. I know they still have yet to be officially announced, but they didn't officially announce Mr McMahon with the roster reveal last year. There is absolutely no way that Nikki Cross is not in the game. And if they didn't have time to redo Ciampa for the base game, then they would have definitely included him with the DLC. The fact that he's not part of the DLC tells me that he's in the base game. This is just 2K trolling us. Why? Who knows? But I'll be very shocked if I start up the game and Nikki Cross and Tomasso Ciampa are not on disk.

I'm incredibly happy with the DLC. I honestly don't think I could have picked better DLC packs, short of an additional legends pack. Was incredibly surprised, but overjoyed to see Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai included. I was sure we'd be waiting until 2K20 at the earliest to get them in the series.
- Bobby Lashley - Don't really care, doubt I'll use him. - War Raiders - YEAH! - Candice LeRae - YES! - Mike & Maria Kanellis - Very surprised to see them, given that they haven't been on TV in over a year. Also quite surprised that they've made Maria playable, I assumed she'd be manager only. Guess that user that was advertising his petition a couple of pages ago to get them in the game is over the moon. - Lio Rush - Really do not care whatsoever. There's no way I'll ever use him. - Dakota Kai - THE BIIIIIG DAWWGG - EC3 - YEAH! - Lacey Evans - Cool, I might use her. - Ricochet - YEAH!

Another year, another soundtrack that I don't care a single bit for. I don't recognise a single track on it. It's a great thing we still have superstar themes on the Music Selection.

It was an okay show. - Jeff/Orton was good, but absolutely disgusting. I don't want to see any tugging on Jeff's mutilated ears. The minute Orton grabbed a screwdriver, I fast forwarded ahead. Hopefully this feud is over now. I get that they want to get across that Orton is a malicious, sadistic heel, but anytime I see any ear pulling, I fast forward. I do not want to see that, ever. And I shouldn't think viewers fast forwarding through their content is what they should strive for. Leave that disgusting crapon the indies. - Becky Lynch is champion! Becky Lynch is champion! I honestly didn't think there was any chance they crowned her tonight, but with these couple of months shining a spotlight on women's wrestling, this is the best time to have Becky on top of the division. However the match felt off, with the action not as smooth as we'd expect out of these two, quite a bit of stumbling. But still, Becky is champion! - Ziggler/McIntyre VS Rollins/Ambrose was fantastic! - I skipped AJ/Joe, because I didn't feel like sitting through an entire 4 hour show, and I've not been interested in this feud at all throughout it's entirety. - Miz/Maryse VS Bryan/Brie was okay. Nothing special. But why on earth are the referees still fine with women attacking men, but when men attack women, it's a disqualification? It should be the exact same rules for both genders. I hoped WWE would be smarter than that. - Rousey VS Bliss was solid. This was the only match I looked up the result for beforehand, because if Bliss had won I wouldn't have bothered watching. So I'm happy that Rousey retained. Now maybe WWE have become smart enough to not build an entire division around a single star the way they did with Bliss. Before I get a lot of angry "THAT'S HOW WRESTLING WORKS" replies, I'd like to clarify that the way they handled Bliss on top, they made her make everyone she faced look like a joke. Becky, Bayley, Mickie, Sasha, Nia all looked like crap after losing to Alexa. That's not the way to do it. If you want to make it clear that a single star is on top of the division, you have to at least make potential challengers remain credible threats. That's not what happened. That created a long-term problem, because now who is a credible enough star to challenge Ronda Rousey next? I don't see anybody on RAW. That's why I think unfortunately the rumour of Nikki Bella challenging Ronda Rousey for the title at Evolution will turn out to be true. - I skipped most of the main event, except the last 10 minutes with the run-ins, for the same reasons I explained for AJ/Joe. I really wish Brock would just off. I honestly don't understand why he still gets the whole audience cheering whenever he shows up. I get that WWE audiences are mainly casual viewers and Brock is a mainstream star, but I'd have thought by now the hardcore audience members would boo loud enough to drown out the casual fan cheers. It's been made painfully clear that Brock doesn't have a single ounce of passion for wrestling, and he clearly just wants to be in MMA. I don't find anything he does interesting, and he made the Universal title completely irrelevant by never bothering to show up.

- Kacy Catanzaro really impressed me. Her entrance is awesome. I really want to see that in the 2K series now, even if she never makes the roster. - Happy to see Deonna Purrazzo win. The emotion on her face was really great to see. - Disappointed to see Ashley Rayne lose in the first round. Given how much of a veteran she is and how much of a star she was outside of WWE, I expected her to get far in this tournament. Even on Bracketology they promoted her as one of the biggest stars in the tournament. I really don't think Mercedes Martinez should have got the win. She made it to the semi-finals last year, she didn't need to get far a second year in a row, when you have most of the stars that didn't take part last year.

I thought they already booked The Bellas and Ronda Rousey vs. The Riott Squad for the Evolution PPV? Nah, that's Super Show Down.

With the exception of the MitB entrances and King Bookah!...none of that excites me at all. Other than the couple trophy’s where you need to wrestle as a female to get them I will never use the female roster. If there’s not an HBK in tights I won’t ever use him and he’ll just become a jobber to wrestlers I do use. Not a fan of the Wyatt/Orton House of Horrors or the Wyatt/Hardy Ultimate Deletion sobI won’t ever play that unless it’s a trophy. Big heads, zombies? No thanks. Now what I did like in that trailer - Roddy Piper Th Bar entrance as far as i know they haven't removed anything from CAS for a few years now They do tend to remove attire parts from Create-a-Superstar that belong to removed superstars. After 2K15 I believe they removed RVD's singlets. In 2K18 they removed some of Layla's parts (unless I missed them). I don't think Mysterio's parts are in 2K18 either. However, they do seem to keep any parts that are worn by superstars still in the game.

I really hope this turns out to be false. Because if not, it's a pretty poor card.
Main three problems: - Riott Squad VS Bayley/Sasha would be great if we hadn't already seen it 22 times on RAW. The addition of Ivory could make it unique I suppose. - Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly should not be on this card. This PPV should be promoting the very best of the women's division, past and present. Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly are definitely among the worst. - There is absolutely no way that Nikki Bella should be even challenging for the RAW Women's Championship, let alone in the main event.

That trailer was absolutely... (pardon the pun) PHENOMENAL!!!
While 2K really don't endear themselves to customers by keeping silent until the last month before release, you can't deny that they put together incredible trailers. Honestly, I'd say this trailer alone was worth the wait, it was that good.
Here's what's got me excited:
- NEW SASHA BANKS ENTRANCE! NEW SASHA BANKS ENTRANCE!! Thank god they finally replaced that three years out of date awful entrance motion she's had for the past two games. Never liked it. Can't wait to see the full thing. - 2006 Shawn Michaels! So glad they've got a 2000s HBK rather than a 90s. - MONEY IN THE BANK ENTRANCES! As someone already mentioned, LONG overdue. - Fighting on top of the cage? Great! - Mae Young Classic arena! Sure, easily creatable in Create an Arena, but still nice to see it in. - Iconic Duo tag entrance! While I'm not a big fan of them, I did find it quite odd last year when they made singles entrance for both of them, had their tag name in the game, but didn't make a tag entrance motion. Glad they've done so now. - Big head mode looks like a fun little thing, like the 8-bit mode added last year. I saw someone jokingly suggest that it's to help sell Funko Pops. - Ultimate Deletion match type? I'm honestly questioning whether the out of ring Wyatt/Hardy stuff is actually part of the game, or whether it was just stuff created purely for the trailer. I guess we'll see for certain after the release. - Zombie Triple H? Kinda cool, again, wonder if that's actually part of the game. Looks like it's based on the Mattel Zombie Triple H. Perhaps a game mode to help sell WWE Zombie figures? - King Bookah! - Honestly, everyone shown in the trailer looks fantastic. I honestly don't mind them keeping Jeff the same as 2K18, because I'm not a fan of his facepaint.
I am just so pleased with that trailer. 5th of October can't come fast enough!

Every day that Jeff Hardy continues to use the Hardy Boyz theme and not 'No More Words', is another day I'm sad. They posted a video of Jeff doing his facepaint and No more words played in the background, so maybe just MAYBE we will hear it again some time. Oh? When was that?

That was a really enjoyable show. Started great, ended great. SmackDown Live continues to prove why 2 hours is the maximum length a weekly wrestling show should be. Every feud had it's final build, handled well, along with building an extra future rivalry.
- Every day that Jeff Hardy continues to use the Hardy Boyz theme and not 'No More Words', is another day I'm sad. - The feud between Charlotte and Becky continues to be must-see TV. Becky's disguise was so well done that nobody around her seemed to recognise her until she pulled the wig off. While I don't think Hell in a Cell will be Becky's night, based on the fact that Becky has gotten the upper hand every single week, sooner or later she has to come out the champion. - Now I want to see Kofi parody an interviewer every week. - I was surprised to see Rusev Day beat The Bar to challenge the New Day. I wonder if this means they're turning Rusev Day heel again. - The final "match" with Bryan/Brie/Miz/Maryse was great. Just when you thought one pairing had the other down to end the show, the other pairing would come back.

Assuming I purchase the Deluxe version of the game, which includes the Season Pass, does that mean I'm automatically entitled to the future DLC for it? Yes, the Season Pass entitles you to all the DLC they release for 2K19. You'll just have to remember to download them when they're released, I don't think they'll download automatically.

I guess this means they also cut: -Freebirds -Von Erichs -Bushwhackers -Natural Disasters -Mick Foley -Fujinami -Zybysko -RVD -Mark Henry -Albert -JBL Honestly, RVD is the only one on this list I'll miss. Hopefully this time around they don't cut his entrance too. We only just got an RVD entrance motion back after they cut it with 2K16.

Nice to see Ted DiBiase finally playable in the game. Great to see they're keeping Batista. Very happy to see that Warrior remains in the series, which is all I really wanted on the legends side really. Disappointed that they didn't put Bruno Sammartino in. How they keep missing out of the biggest icons is beyond me.
But on the NXT side of things, it's bewildering for them to forget about Tommasso Ciampa and Nikki Cross. EC3 and Ricochet I fully expected to be DLC. But there is absolutely no reason to remove Ciampa and Cross from the series, when they were on disk for 2K18. I get that Ciampa was out for a long period of time. But they already had a base model to work from in 2K18. They'd just have to adjust it and then they'd be good to go. He was back a significant period before WrestleMania, which is when the cut-off point is supposed to be. There is no excuse to leave Ciampa out. Nikki Cross is especially bewildering, given how she was a regular part of NXT TV throughout 2017 and 2018.
Hopefully they're like a couple of superstars last year that they just forgot to announce. It's the only explanation I'll accept.

I don't think it'll go anywhere. I think they just threw two guys together that they didn't have plans for just to beef up the tag team division. I hope that I'm wrong though and it ends up with Roode finally going heel on the main roster.

I see that NJPW World has a load of Road to Destruction matches put up from September 7th and 8th. But it's all marked as Japanese commentary. Do NJPW do English commentary versions later on, or are those likely to remain Japanese commentary only?

Excellent, fantastic news! I do really enjoy Renee's commentary. I think she brings something unique to the announce table. Whereas Coach and Booker T were both seemingly there just to constantly say stupid stuff for the other commentators to call them out on, so were indistinguishable in that regard. I definitely won't miss Coach at all. His commentary was quite poor.
With Renee there, hopefully Cole and Graves won't be liable to go on ridiculously long tangents, as they were whenever Coach said something stupid. So commentary for all three should improve considerably.

The trailer was looking great...until they used current Sheamus in the WrestleMania 33 arena for the WrestleMania 28 match. I just have no words for how lazy that is. They literally have a Sheamus model from that era that they used in 2K15. Not too upset with it as it was only used for trailer purposes; that match is not included in the list of 11 and'll likely just be a live clip used in the match transition cutscenes. Ah, I was not aware that a list of matches had been confirmed. I thought that if they were showing a match in the trailer, it would mean that they'd have it as a playable match in the showcase. Would have been nice to get pre-mohawk Sheamus back, and wouldn't require much effort at all on their part. Still, that's a nice list of matches. Looking forward to playing them.
