Anyone else have a bug with downloaded shows mixing with other shows? For example I created an SMW arena / show (PS4 community creations) and downloaded the Progress arena / show and a classic ECW arena. For some reason the Progress arena mixed with the other two so if I go to use the SMW arena, when it loads up, I have a mixture of SMW arena and ringside mixed with Progress ring and stage. The Progress arena also picks up the ECW stage and ringside... Yeah, I've had that bug a few times, where I'll download a load of stuff, and then it will download only one thing multiple times over, completely wasting the dumb download limit. One time I downloaded about five different shows, all with their own arena, and it ended up only downloading one single arena. So that was half of my download limit wasted in one go. I've seen a few other people have the same bug too, so I'd expect 2K will try to fix that ASAP.

Is it just me, or are custom championships bugged slightly? The "Entrance Name" text is used for both the entrance nameplate for the champion, and for the on-screen graphic that shows immediately before the championship introductions, and the "Champion Name" text doesn't seem to get used at all. So even though you want it to be "Champion" for the entrance nameplate, you want it to be "Championship" for the on-screen graphic. But the game uses the same line of text for both, so it doesn't really work.

After watching the RAW clips that WWE put up on YouTube, I'm really confused after watching the Nia/Ember VS Tamina/Dana match. At the end, they dumped each other over the top rope, and the commentators talk about a battle royal at WWE Evolution. I'm sorry, what? Did I miss something? I've heard absolutely nothing about this battle royal, and then they just casually mention it on commentary following a match? If they're going to have stuff like this, they have to at least upload the clip that provides context, because I feel like they just skipped a page there.

I’m a fan of big rosters but never in my life have I ever thought ‘you know what, I’m being R Truth ‘12 today’ have them as attires ffs!! It doesn’t take any more “space” on the game to have him be separate. There’s no “slots” either so you wouldn’t gain anyone to the roster if it was an attire. Since he’s not an attire, you can change his entrance or themes etc without effecting modern R-Truth, or his stats, move set etc. Absoultely no benefit for them to keep them together and that goes for everyone unless it truly is an alternative attire that was worn in the same time frame like how Bryan ‘13 has 3 or 4 attires together. While all that is true, it's a bit inconvenient to scroll past multiple slots of the same superstar just to get to the next superstar. Would speed up menu selection if they put alternate attires for the same superstar under the same slot. Unless the versions are significantly different to each other (like regular Finn and Demon Finn, New Day Kofi and singles Kofi), I genuinely see no reason at all to have each attire as a different slot. Trying to scroll through the "S" section in particular is annoying due to the game retaining so many Stings.

So I've just noticed that Charlotte's WM32 and Ric Flair's WM24 advertised "in-game attires" aren't actually alternate attires, but just their robes put in CAW mode. That's pretty crapty tbh. If they went to the trouble of making the robes, why couldn't they just put the whole attire as an alt? Why are players expected to make it all themselves? Pretty silly if you ask me.
I guess this means if we want to make Charlotte's WM32 attire, the robe won't come off, and it will look really bad with no animation when she does the handstand and gets in the ring.

I think I may have made a mistake. I preordered a physical disc of the Deluxe Edition. I received it, put in the code, got the MyPlayer Kickstart, Ronda, Rey, and of course; the Accellerator. Was Season Pass also included in that? Yes, the Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass, the pre-order bonuses, the Woo! Edition digital exclusives, the My Player Kickstart, and the Accelerator.

Just finished My Career. Very enjoyable, have to say. I absolutely hated My Career from 2K15 - 2K17, so much so that I never finished any of them. 2K18's was tolerable, but 2K19 is the first genuinely good iteration. All the voice acting really adds to it (apart from the guy trying to imitate Cena, that was ludicrously bad). Sure, most of it sounds like it's being read from a script with no enthusiasm (I think Kurt Angle was the worst for that), but it's much better than silence. The podcast section was especially amazing! I didn't expect it at all, but it really helped with immersion. They've got an imitation of JR's podcast, but I don't know who's podcast the other one is trying to replicate.

I know they said October... But does anyone know exactly when the DLC packs come out? I'm not entirely certain, but I think for 2K18 the first DLC pack released the day after Survivor Series, and the second pack the day after the Royal Rumble. Again, I could be wrong, but that's just how I've always remembered it.

The Daniel Bryan Showcase was pretty fun. That Randy Orton Street Fight RAW match was a bitch to complete though. Took me 11 attempts to beat it.
I don't know if it's just me, but to me it feels like 2K19 plays slightly differently to 2K18, despite minimal gameplay changes. It's definitely a lot more difficult.

It isn't a waste of disc space. It's just a simple value change. I won't use it personally but it's nothing major in terms of development. Just seems to me that a game that has severely needed an overhaul for years now could have benefitted from the time wasted to even implement this nonsense on something else. It's literally a case of changing a value. It would have been very quick and easy to implement. No time was wasted at all. It's a fun little feature that plenty of people will enjoy. Plus, they've already hinted that 2K20 will see a big overhaul, so I wouldn't have expected much different for 2K19.

So, we're just a few days away from release now. What's everyone's first match going to be?
I think for me, I'll do a multi-woman match with Kairi Sane, Paige, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, and perhaps one or two other women with new animations. Then I think I'll probably play a match as Johnny Gargano.

Yeah, I went with the Deluxe version, because I've never been a fan of Ric Flair, so the Woo edition didn't appeal to me at all, and certainly not for £60 more! However the Deluxe version was an easy sell for me after the announcement of the DLC. The DLC is absolutely incredible, with a few inclusions that I expected we'd have to wait until 2K20 for. And the Early Access is a must if you're an incredibly impatient person like myself.

I hardly ever buy toys for myself to display anymore, but there is absolutely no way I am not buying that WrestleMania 32 Sasha Banks figure. The inclusion of the stand just makes it perfect as a display piece. I really hope it'll be available in the UK.

I always have a hard time answering this question, because every single era has had it's good points and it's bad points, and they're usually in completely different areas, making it difficult to rank eras against one another. As a couple of examples, the Attitude Era was professional wrestling at it's most popular. It had plenty of iconic moments. But it was also home to the absolute worst moments of pro wrestling, and the matches weren't terribly exciting either. For the PG era, it had plenty of iconic moments (Nexus debut, Punk's 2011 RAW return. But the commentary was horrendous, and there were a lot of terrible concepts (guest hosts, anonymous GM, heel Cole, farting Natalya).
But I'm honestly gonna have to say the current era. We have the most athletic superstars of any era, we have the women's evolution, actually giving female superstars the opportunity to wrestle. While main roster creative is probably the worst it's ever been, we have NXT which more than makes up for that. NXT is professional wrestling at it's absolute best. It's written well, it's presented well, and it's one hour weekly format means that it always feels fresh in contrast to the main roster.

What are you guys planning for your universes? With 2K19, I'm going back to doing a year of Universe that uses most of the in-game roster, male and female. With 2K18 I did a year of that, but then did a year of an all-female Universe. It was very fun for the few few in-game months, but by the end became quite dull due to how small the female roster was in 2K18. I'm ready to go back to a mix of male and female superstars. I don't really bother with CAWs of real superstars, because the lack of correct music, trons, and motions just kills my immersion. There are only a select few I did download in 2K18, those being Kairi Sane, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Dakota Kai, Liv Morgan, Candice LeRae & Tegan Nox. With 2K18, the only one I'll actually have to download a CAW of will be Tegan Nox, which is fantastic.

What’s the story on Ciampa? Insane to have taken him out from last year, did they forget he existed? Just to add onto this topic that I haven't seen anyone else bring up yet, during Adam Pacitti's review of WWE 2K19 for Cultaholic, he mentioned that when he questioned 2K on the likes of Ciampa and Cross not being included, he was told that everyone on the roster has to sign a contract to be in the game. So it seems that Ciampa and Cross just didn't want to sign, if that information is correct. Never thought it worked that way though.

After a long road, we are finally here at WGE Final Stand, the penultimate CPV of Season 2. This is the last chance for WGE's roster to change the course of WrestleMania 2. This CPV also features the return of custom commentary to WGE.
Six women will enter the Elimination Chamber, to determine who will challenge for the WGE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 2. Who will emerge as the victor? Will it be AJ Lee, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, Paige, Alexa Bliss, or Charlotte Flair?
The New Day are set to challenge Awesome Perfection for the WGE Tag Team Championships tonight. Awesome Perfection are the longest reigning champions of any type in WGE history. Can New Day do what nobody else has done, and end the record-breaking championship reign?
After interrupting the Intercontinental Championship match at Royal Rumble 2, Neville defeated Sami Zayn to earn the right to challenge champion Cody Rhodes here tonight. While both men share a similarity in being prominent rule-breakers, it's unclear who has the advantage in this one. Will Neville ascend to the top of the mountain in record time? Or will Cody continue his reign?
The long-running personal feud will reach a conclusion tonight, as Lucha Legion faces Alberto Del Rio, Brandon Adams and Adam Omega in a 6 Man Elimination Tag Team match. Del Rio has done everything he can in his campaign to rid WGE of Sin Cara, but Sin Cara has not only beaten Del Rio in the past, but he has also found allies in Rey Mysterio and Kalisto. To combat this, Del Rio enlisted the aid of Brandon Adams and Adam Omega, two superstars constantly trying to establish themselves in WGE. Which team will emerge victorious?
Another personal rivalry writes another chapter tonight, as Christian will face Sheamus again. These two have cost each other Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. Tonight all that will hopefully come to an end, so these two can finally begin to get their careers back on track. With Christian already holding one victory over "the Celtic Warrior", is it time for Sheamus to even the score?
Kurt Angle has a big opportunity tonight, as he attempts to dethrone Jeff Hardy and claim the United States Championship for himself. Angle has accused Hardy of devaluing the US title, while Jeff has been a proud, fighting champion. With both men able to get the upper hand over the other in recent weeks, who will call themselves United States Champion when it's all said and done?
For months, Randy Orton has reigned as the WGE Champion, forcing everyone to bask in the Age of Orton. Although Orton has fended off the likes of Edge, Big Show, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, tonight he faces his toughest task as he steps inside the Elimination Chamber. With challengers such as Rob Van Dam, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Dean Ambrose, Orton's chances of retaining are not in his favour. Can "the Viper" do the seemingly impossible and continue clutching onto the WGE Championship?
Sasha Banks realised her dream at Royal Rumble 2, as she won the tournament to crown the inaugural WGE Women's Champion. That celebration was cut short however, when Carmella made her debut on the following RAW, blindsiding the new champion. Carmella continued the attacks in the weeks that followed, including a brutal backstage assault. This not only forced Sasha Banks to tape up her midsection, but also forced general managers Shane and Stephanie McMahon to introduce a no-contact rule between the two. With all the pent-up frustration and anger that Sasha Banks has accumulated, has Carmella bitten off more than she can chew?
In our main event, World Heavyweight Champion Batista enters the Elimination Chamber to defend his title. Despite emerging victorious over the likes of Mark Henry, Kurt Angle, and Jeff Hardy, will Batista be able to outlast five other competitors? With those challengers consisting of Braun Strowman, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Baron Corbin, and the newly arrived Kevin Owens, the chances of Batista look slim. Can "the Animal" continue his dominant reign?
Match Card:
Women's Championship #1 Contendership Elimination Chamber Match: Nia Jax VS Becky Lynch VS Alexa Bliss VS Charlotte VS AJ Lee VS Paige
WGE Tag Team Championships: The New Day VS Awesome Perfection (c)
Intercontinental Championship: Neville VS Cody Rhodes (c)
Six Man Elimination Tag Team Match: Lucha Legion VS Alberto Del Rio, Brandon Adams & Adam Omega
Christian VS Sheamus
United States Championship: Kurt Angle VS Jeff Hardy (c)
WGE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Randy Orton (c) VS Finn Balor VS Dean Ambrose VS Samoa Joe VS Roman Reigns VS Rob Van Dam
Women's Championship: Carmella VS Sasha Banks (c)
World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Batista (c) VS CM Punk VS Baron Corbin VS Braun Strowman VS Kevin Owens VS Daniel Bryan

Given that there was a lot of anger towards Banks on this forum at the time, I thought this interview would be very informative. I don't know about anyone else, but as a fan of both superstars, it just warmed my heart reading this. Main quotes:"Nothing was ever Sasha's fault," Paige began. "She got so much backlash and even in the ring, when we were in there, people are chanting 'Sasha sucks' and it really upset me to hear that because it wasn't her fault. The thing is with me, right, that move where she kicks me in the back, I had taken that so many times previously that I was so stubborn and I thought 'I can still do these kind of things' and I thought my neck was just as strong as it was before, but, unfortunately, it's not. So I called this move and I told her to do it and so she did it, and unfortunately, my neck wasn't strong enough and it snapped all the way back and it was essentially the same as having a really bad car crash - the whiplash was. My arms start losing the feeling and then I'm like 'oh my gosh, I can't feel my arms!' and I'm trying to grab her [Sasha's] legs and she's like 'you need to stop' and I'm like 'no, no, no. Wait, I can stand up, let me do this' and so I stand up, but then I fall straight back down and I'm like 'oh my gosh, I can't feel my body right now, this is crazy' and I was so petrified I was like 'I think I'm paralysed'. The girls at the side of the ring were crying, Bayley was really upset and Sasha is sitting in the corner just devastated and I couldn't cry at first; I wasn't in any pain I was just in so much shock and I'm just looking at these girls like 'oh my gosh'. And I knew it, I felt it - my career was done," Paige said. But Sasha was there the whole entire time. She did not want to leave my side - like literally did not want to leave my side - and she was crying her eyes out. She said 'I'm so sorry' and I'm like 'It's not your fault, none of this is your fault'. But, I remember just telling Sasha 'I can't wrestle anymore' and she was devastated, she started crying, crying her eyes out. I was like 'I'm so sorry', I think it's just a British thing to apologise! But I was like 'I'm sorry, it's not your fault' and she's just been so, so supportive. She always texts me like 'hey, how are you doing, how things going?' you know, and she's just always been really great. Paige alludes to the fact that her neck wasn't strong enough and it may have been a matter of time before someone injured it. Sasha, unfortunately, was that unlucky superstar." www.givemesport.com/1392684-paige-strongly-defends-sasha-banks-from-criticism-on-her-careerending-injury

I'm so overjoyed that customisable side plates are now a thing. It's such a little feature, but all these tons of little changes they've made this year just make a better product. It's something so simple, yet so satisfying.
Bit disappointing that Create a Superstar hasn't changed in terms of making wrestlers wider. So no chance of accurate CAWs for the likes of Viper and Yokozuna. I really don't understand why they keep the weight size so limited. But still, the mirror option is going to be insanely helpful. I'm not careful enough to make facial features fully symmetrical when doing the face, so that will be fantastic. And mirroring attire parts for the left and right side is going to save a lot of time too.
All of the new Steel Cage and Hell in a Cell features will make them great fun to play. I can't wait to play them!
Although I'm deliberately not watching My Career gameplay so I can play it myself firsthand without spoiling it for myself, I've heard nothing but incredibly positive feedback for it. So I'm pretty excited, because it does sound incredible.
- Baron Corbin's MITB entrance is great. - Bludgeon Brother's entrance is fantastic. - Bit odd that Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin's entrance just has Benjamin's trons, rather than their tag team trons. - Heavy Machinery's entrance is good. - Rusev Day's entrance is fantastic, Aiden English sounds exactly like he does on TV, rather than the flat delivery we usually get with voiced entrances. - Street Profits entrance is great. - The Shield's new entrance is amazing. - Shinsuke Nakamura's new entrance is fantastic.
Honestly, I've yet to see anything that's really disappointed me, which wasn't the case for 2K18. I'm just so hyped for this game! The 5th of October cannot get here quick enough!

So my thoughts after watching all of the Women's Entrances:
- Absolution's entrance is incredible. I honestly didn't expect them to bother making one. - Alexa Bliss' new entrance is great. - Becky Lynch's new entrance is okay, but her hair is just animated so badly, it barely moves with she shakes her head. - Bianca Belair's entrance is really good. - Carmella's MITB entrance is great! I love the fact that we have multiple MITB entrances! - The IIconic's entrance is really good. - Mandy Rose's entrance is nice. I didn't think she started her blurry entrance until after being drafted to SDL, so I didn't expect it to be in. - Nia Jax's new entrance is decent. I think it goes through the motions too quickly, whereas she does longer pauses in real life, but it's a brand new entrance that has no glaring problems, so I'm not complaining. - Ronda Rousey's entrance is great! I love that they've recreated the smoke on the stage so well. - Paige's new entrance is fantastic! It's a real shame they haven't corrected her theme though, and just like in 2K18 there are a couple of seconds before her music actually starts. - Sasha Banks' new entrance is amazing! Thank god they finally replaced that awful 3 years out of date entrance that always looked awful. It's pretty weird that she's not wearing her knuckle "LEGIT" "BOSS" things though. Did she not wear them with that particular attire? - Is this a new Trish Stratus entrance? I'm pretty sure it is. Looks great! And she has her minitrons again!
