Doctor Who toys and Jakks WWE figures were really the only toy lines I had a collection of as a kid. I had a few Mattel Elites bought for me in 2010 when they were first starting, but I stopped playing with toys/doing stop motion soon after.
For Doctor Who toys, Character Options figures and RC Daleks produced from 2005 - 2008 were the main part, though I did have a Product Enterprise RC Davros and a talking 80s Cyberman figure, which were produced a few years prior.
As for Jakks WWE figures, it was all the main lines. RA, DA, CS, CSDA.
My older brothers were playing with toys in the early 90s, and so I still have a big bag full of WWF Hasbros of theirs from that time period, which I've always found interesting.

That Women's Wrestling DVD had better get a UK Blu-Ray release. Though if it is simply a match compilation rather than a documentary, it won't. Bet it'll completely miss out AJ Lee as well.

I instantly assumed this was Kayfabe News article. They don't usually post two new articles a day...

Why couldn't he be the Demon in a Triple Threat? I genuinely don't see any issue here at all.

If the accusations are indeed true, Moolah was one of the most vile humans to ever be involved in wrestling. Why on earth would anyone want a tournament named after such a human being? It's bad enough that WWE and Stephanie McMahon continue to glorify Moolah, when in my view she should not be spoken of at all. Having read up on the subject (Sisterhood of the Squared Circle is a great book that I'd highly recommend), I'm inclined to believe the accusations against her from many in the industry, that she'd pimp her female wrestlers out to male wrestlers, allow them to be raped, take a hefty chunk of their earnings to ensure they wouldn't be able to make a living without her, while also convincing promoters to blacklist women who didn't want to work for her, thereby holding women's wrestling back decades with her stranglehold. When so many people have the exact same accusations about someone, there's got to be at least some truth to it.

Just like every year, creative have finally gotten their crap together for WrestleMania time, and I'm loving the build-up for all the matches so far.
- Miz/Rollins/Balor should be amazing, and I expect it'll steal the show. Pretty solid build so far. - Sasha VS Bayley should be amazing, as it has been in the past. I absolutely love the fact that they're really slowly building it up, rather than rushing it. The moment they finally pull the trigger will be a joy to watch. They're handling it perfectly so far. Honestly looks like either one of them could be the one to finally turn on the other all the way. So happy we'll see this match again, but this time on the grandest stage of them all. - Really looking forward to seeing Nia and Alexa feud, as it looks like they will. Seeing Nia so emotional made me emotional, and although I initially thought that it would be Alexa turning face against a heel Nia, I'm even more looking forward to the opposite way round. It was a well written speech that Alexa gave, making her seem both compassionate and a total bitch at the same time. Honestly, I think face Nia showing her true personality will be far better than the seldom speaking monster heel we had a year ago. Really hope they finally give Nia a run with the title, and make it a good one. - Loving the build for Ronda/Angle VS HHH/Stephanie. They continue to handle Rousey perfectly. - I cannot wait for them to finally take the Universal title off of Lesnar, and Reigns has been perfect the past couple of weeks. Although I expect it to be only temporary, it's great to hear fans behind Reigns once again.

Happy to see Hillbilly Jim in the HOF. Long overdue in my opinion. This is looking like a great class so far. Goldberg, Dudley Boyz, Hillbilly Jim. All stars I'll definitely watch get inducted.

As long as it doesn't end the brand split (I've not seen that indicated that it would, so I'm puzzled as to why so many people have mentioned it), I'd be all for it. SmackDown Live being 2 hours seems the perfect length. Long enough to entertain for a substantial period of time, but not too long to drag. Whereas RAW being 3 hours definitely does drag, even when it's a decent show.

I just have to say, WWE Network have been killing it with their new Collections over the past few months! Collections for AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, The Bar. In 2017 it wasn't too often that a Collection went up that I had interest in, but so far almost every single collection that has been put up since November has been one I've had strong interest in. And then next month Andre the Giant and Finn Balor!

As clueless as Vince is, he surely has to understand from the people around him that Styles VS Nakamura is far too big an opportunity to pass up.

WrestleMania 12 against the Ultimate Warrior. It's just such a fun match, and the epitome of short and sweet. The ultimate WrestleMania squash match. Love watching it every single time. I do love a good squash match.

Just noticed today that WWE Network had an update on my PS4, showing as version 1.03. Does WWE give Network patch notes? Would be nice to know what changes they made.

From the YouTube clips of last night's RAW, it all looked awesome. WrestleMania is off to a good start.
- I love how they're handling Rousey, Kurt was comedic gold at Elimination Chamber, HHH/Stephanie are perfect to get their comeuppance in their conspiracy against Rousey, so that match will be wonderful storytelling. - Sasha VS Bayley will be amazing. Both of their NXT Takeover matches were incredible, so a third match on the grandest stage of them all is definitely exciting. Plus, I love how their story is progressing at the moment. Bayley turning her back on Sasha was shocking, and truly makes me wonder if Bayley will actually be the one to turn heel. Can they actually pull Bayley off as a heel? Only time will tell. - Miz VS either Rollins or Balor (or both) for the Intercontinental title will be great. - Bliss will finally get her comeuppance against Asuka after dominating the past year. Perfect storytelling. - As for Cena VS Taker, I think it will probably be solid. - Roman VS Brock at WM31 was a good match, so I welcome part two. Reigns' promo last night was really good, so it's off to a good start. Plus if Strowman gets added, that can only increase the anticipation. The most important thing is that Lesnar loses the title.
There's one thing I really don't get concerning Asuka though. Why are all the rest of the women trying to make out that she can't speak a word of English, when she proves every week that she can? It's just stupid. Heels can still be heels without looking stupid.

Just watched Elimination Chamber, and it was okay. Both Chamber matches were good, with some great spots in both. Nia VS Asuka was good. Matt VS Bray was good, especially Hardy's character work. The Bar VS Titus Worldwide was dull. Expected the Revival to attack both teams afterwards, missed opportunity there, and I say that as someone who is indifferent to the Revival.
Ronda's contract signing was great. I have to say, I know it's very early days, but I love how they're handling Ronda so far. Before her debut I openly dreaded the potential of her signing with WWE, but I'm glad that it's being handled well. I really hoped they'd have her as a face earning respect, rather than a heel destroying everyone and demanding respect. Her mic skills definitely need a lot of work, but considering she's only just stepped foot in the industry, understandable. Kurt was comedy gold playing off Triple H.
The Women's Elimination Chamber was a really good match. Despite being utterly predictable in the entry order once we had the first two, the women proved once again why they deserve to be given the same spotlight as the men. Mickie diving off the chamber was great, Sasha yet again betraying Bayley was great (especially so for the Lion King memes), and Alexa's promo was great.
With all the constant teasing of a feud between Sasha and Bayley, they've surely got to be setting up for a match between the two at WrestleMania: a match I cannot wait to see. Last night's betrayal #33 seemed to solidify it more than any betrayal in the previous weeks, with Bayley fully going after Sasha afterward, which hasn't really happened any other time. I can't wait to see what comes next.
The Men's Elimination Chamber was awesome though, for one reason: Braun Strowman. For everything that creative have totally screwed up in the past year, they've written Braun flawlessly. I can't remember anyone being as unstoppable as Braun looked in that chamber, taking a bazillion finishers and still getting up. Braun hurling Miz off the top of the pod onto everyone else was brilliant, surprisingly they allowed Balor to look pretty strong considering how he's been booked recently. Honestly, I don't mind Roman winning. Roman VS Brock at WrestleMania 31 was a pretty good match, so I'm up for a rematch. Honestly, I can't see WWE allowing anyone in that Chamber to beat Brock at 'Mania, except Roman Reigns. In my view, the most important outcome of WrestleMania 34 is that they get the title off Brock. Allowing a part-timer to hoard a World title for a year and only show up a handful of times is a complete joke, and should never have been done. Better to have Roman win the Chamber and again at WrestleMania, then to have had someone else win the Chamber and lose to Brock at WrestleMania.
But with Braun's post-match attack on Roman, I can easily see them making it a Triple Threat match to stop the fans crapping all over Roman VS Brock 2. Perhaps they could even have Braun win that match?
But honestly, nobody looked weak in either Chamber match. That's great, and is exactly how it should be. Despite how dominant Braun was in the men's chamber, everyone else (although Miz might be a possible exception) still looked somewhat strong.

Checked my nearest Asda, and it didn't have Basic 79 unfortunately. It did however have the WrestleMania 33 basic figures for £12.99 and a couple of older Basic figures (including one on the old orange/blue packaging). Would be nice if someone else could find Basic 79 at an Asda and confirm that they are discounted nationwide.

It would be either The Shield VS The Bar for the RAW Tag Team titles from RAW 6th November 2017, or AJ Styles VS Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship on SmackDown Live 7th November 2017. Shield VS Bar because it was a really exciting match, and New Day appearing from nowhere was a huge shock. AJ VS Jinder wasn't as exciting a match, but the ending spot was memorable, and it was such an exhilarating moment to be there to see history made.
