"Bless his heart, that's great. I'm jealous." Typically people don't say "bless him/her" in a negative way, but in an affectionate way. If it was missing the "bless his heart", then it would be more open to a negative interpretation. Actually when people say "bless his heart" they mean it in a negative way. It's like a passive-aggressive way of saying something sucks. Sort of like "he's dumb as a box of rocks, bless his heart". Totally not a compliment. Well, it must have a completely different usage in the US than it does in the UK then. In the UK, if someone says "bless him/her", they're typically using it in an affectionate way. |

So much to talk about for Nakamura's entrance.
First of all, I absolutely LOVE that they've put in the crowd singing for his entrance. That was one of my big hopes this year, that they'd put crowd chants/singing in the entrances that have it every single week. So far they've done it for Bobby Roode's and Shinsuke Nakamura's entrances. Now I just want to find out if they've done the same for Sami Zayn's and John Cena's entrances.
Second of all, holy crap, the duration! 3 and a half minutes for ONE entrance! I honestly don't think Undertaker's entrance has ever been that long in the 2K series. Is this entrance the longest one they've ever made?
Thirdly, it's great that the signature movements are all in there, even if they're not delivered with as much enthusiasm as Nakamura does.

So that converts to 4PM - midnight if like me, you're in the UK. Don't know what happened to that supposed embargo that wasn't going to lift until Tuesday. Apparently some of the listed YouTubers have also stated they're uploading Bayley and Roman Reigns entrances, so there could be more than what's on that list, even though it's also been claimed only one entrance per YouTuber, which appears to contradict that. Who knows? Let's just see what we end up with today.

It's not really the opposite because it's not a compliment. It's a half-joke about being jealous he can't be fat and out of shape. It's still a cheap dig. It's like saying, "He's fat and out of shape, BUT he's making it work for him." What part of that was a compliment? I don't think Randy really meant anything by it and I'm sure Owens doesn't care, but lets not pretend this was some kind of compliment. "Bless his heart, that's great. I'm jealous." Quite disappointed that Rollins' entrance does not contain the "Burn it Down" in the minitron and music. As someone who mods the game on PC (though I always play on console first), I know how incredibly quick and easy it is to replace minitron and music files. Therefore, it doesn't make much sense why they couldn't be bothered to make what is essentially a very simple update. It's something they could have done quickly and easily if they wanted to.
Maybe it will be in the game as an alternate option? Maybe they didn't feel it was necessary to put in if Rollins didn't have his "Burn it Down" shirt in his entrance? Maybe it could even be added in a future update? Until last year, I would have very much doubted any updated music/trons being added in patches. However, in 2K17 they added new classic WWE and WCW minitrons in a post-release patch. That gives me hope that perhaps they might have been experimenting for future game patches, because they had no real reason to add in those minitrons otherwise.

Comparing the 2K18 PC specs to the 2K17 PC specs, looks like the minimum requirements are pretty much identical. The only difference is that the minimum requirements graphics cards needs 660 rather than 670, which isn't that much of a difference at all. Personally I'm pleasantly shocked. I expected with the new lighting system, the minimal requirements would shoot up. Perhaps they've better optimised this year's iteration?

New Day's entrance in 2K18. It looks and sounds GREAT. Big E's introduction actually resembles what it sounds like on TV, rather than the watered-down gaming standard. Really impressed.

Oh my, yes! Big thumbs up from me to this. Always wish she'd have stuck around longer. So getting her back, in a time that's never been greater for women in the WWE, is brilliant. Really hope this ends up happening.

Can't wait for yesterday's 2K18 YouTuber event embargo to lift on Tuesday so we can have a flood of gameplay footage. Apparently one uploader has promised to upload every single female superstar entrance, so it would be great if we could get every entrance.

Just completed all the Mafia 3 DLC. Absolutely phenomenal game! The DLC were definitely all worthwhile. I felt myself truly invested and immersed in both the main game storyline and DLC storylines (especially the incredibly creepy last one).
Honestly, sort of considered restarting the game and playing it all over again, it was that good. But I think I'm done with gaming for a couple of weeks until the release of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, WWE 2K18, and Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. Then I'll be gaming non-stop!

Just pre-ordered Middle Earth: Shadow of War Gold Edition and WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition, both on PS4.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gold Edition from GAME, and WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition from Amazon.
Very excited for both games. They both look great, and I really cannot wait to play them!
Also just pre-purchased Age of Empires: Definitive Edition from the Windows Store. Another game I can't wait to play! October is such a phenomenal month for gaming, for me personally.
