I wish we could do #1 Contender matches much like title matches. I'm hoping the new Goals system in Universe mode allows to push for someone to have a number one contenders match. |

I finally got round to purchasing the Crash Bandicoot Remastered trilogy, and honestly, I fully regret it. It's so absurdly difficult that I think I'm ready to give up on this game, only three levels in. Before I started playing, it's safe to say I was not having a good day at all, and thought I'd pop the game in to unwind, relax, and have fun. Playing this game was the absolute worst decision I could make. Coming away from playing the game for an hour, my frustration levels must have tripled. I don't think I've regretting buying a game this much since 'The Last of Us'.

My thoughts after watching every female superstar entrance: - The new lighting system makes Stephanie McMahon look significantly better, despite being the same model. - I think it's obvious there's no way the YouTubers played the release version. Most of the entrance music is so low you can barely make it out at all. - Natalya's new entrance is good. - Commentators talking about tobacco use during entrances?! Haha, how random! - What the hell? Summer Rae, who has been absent from WWE programming for like, a year and was never that relevant anyway, gets a brand new entrance, yet stars like Sasha and Alexa don't?! How ing out of touch are 2K/Yukes??!! Summer Rae's entrance didn't really need much of a change at all, yet Sasha and Alexa desperately needed brand new entrances, due to how outdated they are. There are no words to adequately state how much of a disgrace this is! - Nia Jax's model is a lot better this year. Again, she needed a brand new entrance! Not anywhere near as bad as Sasha and Alexa, but I'd still have thought she would have gotten a new one. - I think I'll use Carmella in my Universe mode this year as a jobber, now that she has a bearable entrance. Seriously though, her new entrance is good. - Nikki Bella's entrance is pretty good. But again, it's disgusting that they thought Nikki Bella, a superstar who has appeared far less frequently than Sasha and Alexa, got a brand new entrance while Sasha and Alexa did not! - Becky Lynch's model looks a million times better than it did in 2K17! Becky's model in 2K17 was just ghastly. Thank god they did her justice this year. - Alicia Fox's model is terrifying. Seriously, her facial expression makes her look possessed. What the hell is up with that?! Looks nothing like Alicia Fox. - Emma's model looks pretty good. - Bayley's new entrance is nice, even though Sasha and Alexa should have been a far higher priority for getting a new entrance than Bayley. There was nothing wrong with Bayley's entrance in 2K17. It would have still fit for 2K18. But Sasha's entrance was not only horrendously bad in 2K17, but it was outdated by an entire year even for 2016, while Alexa's 2K17 entrance is outdated for 2017. 2K/Yukes need to do a far better job for female superstar entrances in 2K19. 2K18's are just a disgrace. |

So I just watched the highlights of last night's RAW on the WWE YouTube channel, and there's one thing that baffles me. Why are Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss good friends again, after everything that happened between them in the past month? Was there any sort of explanation at all? It just seems that this story skipped a chapter.

Okay, Universe reveal gives me some hope for WWE 2K18. The potential rivalry features sounds a bit cool. Rivalry intensity sounds like something much needed, and seems to indicate that they're heading in the right direction. Power rankings are nice, even if we've always had them, but it's great to know they actually serve a purpose this year.
I have no idea what they're talking about when they say how 2K17 couldn't cope with players trying to do a brand split Universe, as I never did that. Could someone fill me in as to what problems they're talking about? I did encounter the rivalries disappearing bug PLENTY of times, just playing Universe normally. Is that what they're alluding to?
Not going to lie, the new Goal feature sounds awesome, and exactly what Universe mode needed. I just hope it works properly.

It would be very interesting to hear from Vince Sr. But I believe it's been well documented that Vince Sr. firmly believed the place of a promoter was backstage running the show rather than in the spotlight, so I doubt there were many, if any, interviews.

Nah, I meant this specific paragraph towards the bottom: "If you prove yourself worthy to take on the Main Event opponent and succeed, you will earn an exclusive Superstar Part that is themed to the PPV Event. Below is a sneak peek of the upcoming TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV Event reward:"Even if those were options in the normal game it wouldn't effect anything as you don't have to use them. Just like the shirt with all the Wrestlemania logos on it from the last few games that has some tie in with MyCareer and giving you a boost. But if they made something that genuinely looked really cool, as a non-Road to Glory player it would completely blow if the item was available throughout the entire game, and the only way to obtain said items would be through being insanely successful at online play. |

Well, I can very easily say without a shadow of a doubt, Road to Glory mode is not for me, and so has no value for me. I have absolutely no interest in playing online. The exclusive superstar parts that they make for each PPV going forward had better be exclusive to Road to Glory. If not, then that would be complete and utter BS. Honestly, I was so hyped for 2K18, but today's reveals have just killed my interest. Unlocking CAW Parts/Moves etc will only be for the MyPlayer modes (MyCareer and Road to Glory) judging by that article. In all the other areas it will be the same as always (Accelerator unlocks all characters/arenas or you can earn the In Game VC to purchase them). It's just mind-boggling how incredibly lazy they are. Sasha Banks' entrance was not only poor in 2K17, it was also outdated. Copying and pasting the exact same entrance for 2K18 just makes it even more outdated! This is the Sasha Banks entrance we saw on TV from 2014! This is not in any way, shape, or form authentic to WWE programming in 2017. It's just disgusting how they didn't think a new entrance was a priority.
The fact that they think it's acceptable to reuse a 2015 on-screen accurate entrance, for a video game attempting to match 2017 programming, is just horrendously out of touch, and is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form.
It's just infuriating how for every foot they put forward, the other foot remains glued in place.

Can they not move backward? It would only be "moving backward" if she still "wrestled" like a diva. I find it very hard to believe that she would if she did indeed return. Given that during the diva era, female superstars were instructed specifically not to wrestle like male superstars, and were heavily encouraged to use mainly slaps and hair pulls, they were all restricted in what talent they may have had. Now that they no longer have that restriction, they can leave a much better second impression, infinitely better than the first. |

Alexa's entrance is just a disgrace, to be honest. If anyone needed a championship entrance, it's Alexa Bliss. Reusing the exact same entrance from 2K17, for someone who has different motions when holding a championship, is just pure laziness. Especially when it's someone who WWE has superpushed as being top of an entire division for almost a whole year.
And Sasha's face looks really weird while waiting for Alexa to come out. Doesn't really look like the Sasha we glimpsed in the trailer, imo.

I'm shocked that they gave Maryse her original music. I fully expected them to just use the Miz's theme for her entrance. Maybe when the Hardy Boyz DLC comes out we can get 'No More Words' for Jeff's entrance?!

Looks awesome! I am really impressed with the Bar's entrance. Sheamus' voice sounds way too loud though. Hopefully that'll be fixed for the release version.
