Who is Jey/who is Jimmy? Mattel themselves don't even know... 🤭

Maybe... I'd want an ECW version though: long-hair/ponytail, baseball cap, long coat - classic Heyman. It's also a look they haven't done yet.

Thanks to whoever got the other thread locked. Looks like it was PJ... man, that guy is such a trouble-maker! 🤭 (seriously though, it was probably locked because there were two very similar threads?)

Sounds good on paper, but then how do we explain countless "preorders" selling out? Open preorders don’t sell out because they don’t go into production until after the preorder window closes. This is Super7’s model. NECA recently did it with the TMNT sewer and accessory set. Mattel did it last year with Cody and Paul. ...how come Paul "sold out" though and people got refunds?

...apparently, this firing will cost Punk millions. And if he feels it was unjustified or he was pushed too far, there will absolutely be a lawsuit. Then there's also the possible defamation of character issue - for TK to publicly say he feared his "life was in danger" makes Punk sound psychotic and unhinged, which could affect his future earnings (not just with wrestling, but acting too). So yeah... this could all easily end up in court. Again, that is TK's opinion though. Punk has money, he was/is not counting on the money AEW was going to pay him to survive. Nor would a small scuffle in wrasslin affect his acting career. I'll put my account on the line and not make a new one if there is a lawsuit. ...if a person's former boss/employer said he feared his life was in danger (because of that person), I would think that would put off a lot of future/potential employers(?).

Absolutely, text messages, phone calls, emails, etc. All that other stuff will help in court. The video will weigh heavy in front of a judge or jury though. Dude ... just stop. A JURY? For this non-lawsuit? OMG. ...apparently, this firing will cost Punk millions. And if he feels it was unjustified or he was pushed too far, there will absolutely be a lawsuit. The packaging sucks. I really don’t appreciate the change even though I’m a loose collector. Every one of my plastic protectors and cardboard backers appeared scuffed, dirty, bent, or slightly damaged. Not enough to cry a river about but I would prefer these to look MOC when they arrive. This is disappointing to hear... has anyone else had this issue? I haven't received mine yet, but I was going to say how good the new packaging looks - and the fact that you can put the figures back in/on the card.

Did they say the Hogan 3 pack was getting the skintone changed before release or did my brain make that up? Yeah, Steve said that 👍.

I’ve never understood all the talent included pre-1989. Still salty we didn’t get the Hart foundation in their 90/91 look. While I was glad to get a Mr. T, I am not interested at all in having all the pieces (even Ali) for the first Mania main event. I’d rather have interesting looks for Warrior, Macho King, Hogan, even characters like Brother Love and Sherri and Heenan from the Hasbro era and the years that followed. Seems everyone is hype for the nWo and dx sets, which I think says quite a bit. On the other hand, I LOVED the orange card series (Lex head aside) and seems few others did. This new set hits a sweet spot for me - so glad to have all these looks. That's the thing about the line - collectors on here are looking for different things and with so few releases, it is going to be hard to please everyone (unless you collect all eras). Personally, I'm good with the LJN/Golden Era through Attitude era. I believe Steve said that they might go as far as the RA era, which I hope they avoid as long as possible.Yeah, that's the sweet spot for me too. I wouldn't mind a few RA main-event guys though: Batista, Brock, Cena, Orton, Edge... (I know they did Brock, Cena and Orton before, but they were all current versions).

I wonder if WWE would have (or want) Punk back, given all this AND their past history? If not, I think he'll call it a day... I really can't see going to Impact or the like.
I am SO looking forward to his statement/version of events...

I really want to hear Punk's version of events - especially him (supposedly) lunging at/attacking TK and making him (TK) fear his life was in danger. I also wonder if Punk will be taking any legal action too if he feels what TK has said is untrue or inaccurate... because as it stands, TK publicly saying he feared his life was in danger is an incredibly damaging thing to say.

They only use it when it's Kenny and The Bucks teaming together (...that's why it wasn't used at either of the PPVs).

This is such a good post... especially the bits I've highlighted. It sounds as though Tony Khan is more to blame (than Punk) for this whole mess.Really good run down, that I think I pretty much agree on. The way I've looked at this, all the way back to the scrum that started it all, everyone involved in both sides has blame in it. Of the players (the Elite, Punk, Steel, Jungle Boy) the closest person I'd consider to be innocent is Omega. I've never been a fan of Kenny, probably never will, but his biggest fault in this whole mess is just sticking with his pals the Bucks, and really allowing him to get pulled into their crap. There is little doubt in my mind, the person that needs to biggest blame in all of this is Tony. He is the boss. Before Punk ever even returned to TV, this crap should have been shorted out. He should have had a meeting made with all parties involved, and made them hash things out. And with the Jungle Boy mess, is should have never got to the point of his remark on the PPV. The sad thing is, Tony has shown unless he's forced into a corner, he tries not to act the role of boss, he comes off like wanting to be "one of the boys," and you then get people that see that, and realize they can walk all over him. And when it did, TK should immediately have got security ready - and been there himself - for when Jungle Boy came back to gorilla after his match... what did he think was going to happen?

I just think an UE 4 or 5 pack of figures that wouldn't necessarily sell at retail (like the UE Doink) would work. Better than giant stages and the like, anyway... most of the interest and discussion is about the figures anyway.

From a guy with a CM Punk avatar lol. I admit i am biased, been a punk fan for a lot longer than aew has existed. I also want to hear what he has to say. According to another report he was ready to leave a while ago. "Those close to CM Punk claim that around December '22, Punk was open to leaving AEW, and returning to WWE. - Fightful have heard that Punk wanted to appear at the 2023 Royal Rumble." Also if Tony "feared for his life" then why did he allow punk to go have his match, come back, take photos, buy food for some of the talents, etc.
This all does not sound right, compound that with aew still selling his merch and adding items makes the company look very unprofessional.I highly question this "AEW disciplinary Committee". I also highly question how long jack perry will be suspended, giving he is friends with the "Evp's" This all stinks of an unprofessional wrestling company, and punk according to some reports may have already quit before tony "fired" him. Yeah, I definitely think there's two sides to this, rather than putting all the blame on Punk. TK saying he feared his life was in danger just sounds crazy... especially when he later thanks "Phil" for his contribution to AEW.
