Also Sable is just one of my top want in general, especially since I have a 1998 display. I have no need for a Cornette figure. So in terms of wants it’s still Sable>Tennis racket man. Which is what I called Cornette as a kid because his figure came with a tennis racket…....back in the day, my best friend called Jim Duggan "Piece of wood Man"... because he came with a piece of wood 😄. Anyway, I thought we'd have had a Sable figure by now... especially with the Brock connection(?). Seems a bit strange.

Its gonna be UE4 Shawn for me. What a iconic attire to waste on a figure with 2 of the suckiest heads Mattel has ever made. I have it to have it but man it sucks. I think it's more to do with the way the heads are painted... they're the same as the Amazon UE Shawn heads (with different hair) - but the Amazon ones tend to look better. The weird colour hair on the UE4 figure probably doesn't help either... remember that time Shawn had dark red hair? No, but Mattel does 😄.

Not sure how many people remember this but bill told us a long time ago that elite 21 htm was going to have a running change and come with a fabric belt for the jumpsuit. It never did happen for whatever reason. Nows the perfect time for that to be fixed It would be cool, but I don't think it would happen as it would require something new/extra cost (rather than be a straight re-release). With the E8 Undertaker that came with a different head, that head was already tooled/made so didn't cost any extra to make.

Bossman would be a great addition, so too would Mr. Perfect and Tornado. It would be great if we could get all 11 (Perfect, Tornado, Quake, Tugboat, Sarge and LOD as well), though that may be way too much. If they do go that route for this years SDCC exclusive, then the RR92 poster should be next years SDCC exclusive: Macho, Hogan, Jake and Flair... But then I'd want Sid and Piper too. I always loved those posters. They were an homage to The Warriors. "...can you dig it!!?" 😄

In terms of collectors, I gotta think it's more attitude era fans currently living that collectively collect these figures. I don't know... the wrestling boom of the 80's was huge - and longer - so I'd probably give the nod to the Golden Era having more fans. Not to mention, '80s nostalgia in general is really in at the moment...

Honestly, if they'd just release:
Dynamite Kid Marty Janetty (again) The Barbarian Steiner Brothers Jesse Ventura Jim Cornette Owen Hart Jeff Jarrett Chris Benoit Fabulous Moolah Luna Vachon Marlena Sunny Sable
...then I feel my collection would be pretty complete. Obviously there are other guys/women I'd buy - but if I didn't have them, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Completing the WM1 main event would be high on my list. I have zero interest in the Attitude era, and none in Tyson outside of NES Punch-Out. U have to remember there's a lot more attitude heads then that era. There's a reason why attitude era boomed and is the greatest era as far as fan support. Nothing against it though, just numbers don't lie. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the Golden Era... as you said, the numbers don't lie 😉 Not necessarily. The attitude era's highest rated night was 8.1. When Hogan and Andre wrestled on network TV, they did a 15.2 (33 Million people watched that event).Favourite era to collect: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/374188/favourite-era-collect

...as far as celebrity involvement or association, Ali was/is definitely on my list. He'd make a cool Retro too - and would fit in with the CC time period nicely. Okay, okay, there's prolly a few of you guys, but I'm pretty sure there's a higher demand for Tyson than Ali as far as Mattel figures go. Yeah, there's probably more demand for Tyson as he's more current and was heavily involved in Austin and DX stuff. Buuuuut I'd imagine quite a lot of people will still want/buy Ali if he's made... especially us older guys 😄.

You know, that would be very Mattel If it is Ali, that I'm pretty sure was on no one's wwe figure want list, while we all wanted a dx/scsa Tyson and it's not him 😂 Very Mattel here if true. ...as far as celebrity involvement or association, Ali was/is definitely on my list. Really hope we get Jesse some day... he's one of my main wants (and would fit in perfectly the Retro and CC lines!). Having said that though, I doubt we'll ever get him - Mattel have had the licence for 13 years now and there's not been a figure, so there's obviously some sort of issue... 🤔

My one and only guess is Ali... he was a very controversial figure back in the day and lot of people hated (or disliked) him. It could be a "general look" Ali figure (like the general look of the SDCC Mr T) - and then we'll get a more specific Wrestlemania UE or 2-pk Elite - and Retro - down the road...

What would people think of the next set was Hogan Wendi Cap Lou Albano Cindi Lauper Personally, I'd love it - I don't think they'd include two women in the same wave though (...sorry if that sounds a bit sexist!).

Agreed. I can’t wait for the red and yellow Hogan retro. I’m really curious about who else they’ll put in that set. Maybe they are doing another WM1 set. Hogan, Richter, Mr. Wonderful, JYD. Not sure they'd do JYD again, as they did him first time 'round. Maybe Hogan, Richter, Andre, Studd?

PJ That looks so much better. Not only does it look terrible how the tattoo was separated, but it's nowhere near that close to his ear. What an odd choice by Mattel. Exactly what I thought... it doesn't look good - and it must cost more to add the bits on the head. Weird.

My NWO set came today too 👍. No Customs charge either, so it was just the US price plus international shipping (...see, Mattel Creations? THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT!!) To be fair, the last retro 4-pack from Mattel Creations didn’t cost £3755744 postage like everything from RSC does, so it’s swings and roundabouts 😂 Anyway, Royal Mail have said mine has been delivered but it hasn’t. So that’s gonna be fun to chase. Yeah, the RSC postage was $32 when ordered I think. I've just looked - and it seems like there's a cheaper ($23ish) option now? Ah well. Hope yours turns up... 😬

My NWO set came today too 👍. No Customs charge either, so it was just the US price plus international shipping (...see, Mattel Creations? THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT!!) Is it because it is under a certain value? Yes... and they don't add any extra charges. Last year Mattel Creations started to charge prices in GBP (rather than USD) and also added their own "duty and tax", even when we shouldn't/wouldn't be charged extra 🙄.
