We need a Volkoff with a USSR sweater. I get some of the recent PC cancellations like Strongbow and Rising Sun RVD but there is no one offended by the now defunct Soviet Union. They were our allies during WWII and the Cold War didn’t amount to anything other than fear mongering. They recently put out a replica of Hogan's 1986 title belt and it has the proper USSR flag on the side plate.

Since it's topical ATM I think an easy layup would be a bodyguard Virgil. Wouldn't mind a suited Dibiase neither to go with it, maybe in the black/purple or silver/pink tux: image hosting

Hopefully they get Nikolai. He may still be signed with the WWE, but I cannot imagine he's a long-term signing for the WWE, so he'll probably be available at some point. If they do get Nikolai, I hope they do a Bolsheviks version, USA supporter (1990) version, and a Million Dollar Corporation version. I agree, really need Bolsheviks Nikoli at least, baby face would be ok too if they do a 2nd or 3rd. But, really want the Bolsheviks, and the Mattel really wouldn't fit in with the Epic Boris.

Ah, before this closer look, I thought this was going to have the Macho King type pull back clothesline design, guess not though.

Didn't know there was a Boris coming, that looks cool! Any word on a matching Volkoff? Don't know what his WWE status is?

This line is very impressive, I never collected LJNs, and don't see myself getting into them. But, I did have a bunch of WCW OSFTM LJN style. Been kicking the tires on maybe collecting those. I am wondering though, has there been discussion of BRG's doing anything to fill in some of the gaps in that WCW line?
Some big ones I can think of right away are:
Shark (planned but never released) Renegade (planned never released) Arn DDP Booty Man or Zodiac
And if they wanted to extend a little beyond maybe: Hall Nash Luger Steiners Faces of Fear
To name a few.

I hope we see at least 8-10 figures between the next 2 waves from creations and hopefully something from RSC.
Top wants are still the usuals that we're missing, Backlund, Heel Jake, Rude w/short hair, anything New Gen, and I even wouldn't mind that Taker in grey they showed years ago. Since I could have seen Hasbro doing one more Taker before they would have gotten to the purple attire, so an updated mold with the grey would have been likely one or 2 sets after the orange cards.
I really don't want anything beyond 97 though, and unless they were somehow able to get them to retail, would modern guys really sell that much to the collector crowd?

Nah, not for me neither, but at least it's a good sign maybe that it's another in hand/ready to ship drop. I really hope he sticks to this method going forward.

Todd Pettengill and Mike Serling So including punk 5 figures paid for not arrived and he’s putting more up One of my praises for zombie was doing one set and then not putting more up for pre order but he’s starting to get a few in the waiting list paid for and taking money for more orders. Not a fan of that method. Also goes against his ‘no pre order, buy in hand’ he’s supposed to be moving towards Didn’t he also take preorder for the JJ 6” line? I agree, and his preorders have historically been way longer than advertised. I hope it is true and most items will not be preorders anymore. Maybe Punk and other big time signings will be different.

I wouldn't mind WCW Public Enemy. Not sure if they wore the same gear in both places or not, or if he could maybe do a variant. ECW, WWF, and WCW were pretty similar. I don't even remember them in the WWF, but I've heard of it lol. Must have been breif.

So he's a hair under the Hasbro Andre? Also, is it just the angle of this pic, or does he look like he's wearing oversized/snow boots or something? They look like they're a different piece added ontop of the legs?

Agree, there are TONS of good options still available. You didn't even mention Bret and Shawn, and I REALLY want some more WCW guys. Luger, Goldberg, Steiners would be a nice start. The only reason I didn’t bring them up is that Bret’s figure was so recent AND they have such a hard time with his likeness. Like I wasn’t event tempted to buy an extra Bret to do a head swap like I’ve done with Shawn and Diesel. Yeah, I agree for sure. That Bret was not very good. I mean it would take effort to make a good one, which might be asking alot of Mattel. My dream would be a Bret from 94/95. Colorful attire, maybe the WM9 hot magenta, or the paint splash from KOTR 94 or Rumble 94. And what I'd give for a good one with molded jacket too. I don't have much hope with Mattel, but maybe we'll get lucky. This is why I wish more guys would be non-exclusive to WWE/Mattel in the future. The indy companies are much more willing to make the effort to make badass figures.

There are still a number of people under contract that they could do well with either for first time figures or new versions of classic Hasbro stars. You could do first timers like George Steele, Hillbilly Jim, Captain Lou, and Zeus or Kama, Backlund, Isaac Yankem, and Dok Hendrix. I think we all agree that Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, and Dusty Rhodes could use a second chance…so could Diesel and Goldberg to be quite honest. I’m really hoping they keep feeding into the Attitude era and WCW…even ECW. It would be great to see the Three Faces of Foley, Dudleys, Harlem Heat, Terry Funk, Lord Regal, APA, Ken Shamrock, RVD, Paul Heyman, Rey Mysterio, Shane McMahon, Rikishi…and so on. Agree, there are TONS of good options still available. You didn't even mention Bret and Shawn, and I REALLY want some more WCW guys. Luger, Goldberg, Steiners would be a nice start.

Where was this from? I know things were down in 94 but didn't think they were doing high school gyms or anything that small.
And yup, colors pretty much inverted, they did wear something close at Survivor Series 93. And I'd guess other matches around the time.

I think these just have a decent gloss this round, they all look good from pics and videos I've seen. Now if only all his figures going forward would be so good.

That's really cool! Can't wait for mine to arrive. And then the Quebecers which are the perfect counterpart for MoM. Just hope those turn out decent.

No, nothing yet. Though, P&G should be sometime soon, they are supposed to be in Series 3. I don't think he has shown anything on the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom since he should the sculpts a while ago. Power & Glory were at least shown as finished products with soft goods shirts recently. wow, looking at Zombie’s website and list of who he has signed vs who has been released/ renders of / production samples/ in stock, Is it fair to say that it will be years before some of these are in people’s collections? My thoughts too, I got really excited for Sparky Plug, but damn, being a lower mid card guy, I can just imagine him being pushed back and back like others I've been looking forward to everytime a new shiney trinket like Punk comes along. I really want Power and Glory, which I assume is probably right around the corner at least, hopefully it's going to be another OMG, in stock/ready to ship situation. But others like Mr. Hughes and Bad News I've been wanting, I worry how long it could be or if these contracts could even expire after so long and we never see them? Even jobbers like Brawler and Horowitz, I'd like to see come out. And I forget who else is in supposed to be in the pipeline besides Flair and Savage which I assume are being pushed to the front of the pack.

Received my 4 pack today. Awful! * Wendi Richter will not stand! * Big John Studd overall decent figure but the size of his feet are absolutely ridiculous! In fact too big all over. *Hogan’s leg will barely stay in place, poor likeness and should not have painted the thighs yellow. *Ali….yawn! Mattel do better, you’re being put to shame by tiny independent companies who put love and care in to their product. Yeah, this set doesn't excite me, I wouldn't mind having the Studd and Hogan, but zero interest in the other 2, and then looks like reviews aren't even favorable to Studd and Hogan. I hope less and less guys are stuck to exclusive WWE deals in the future so we can get more options open to Epic, Zombie and Hasttel.
