Bah, living on the west coast, I have no Ollie's and am extremely jealous of those of you who do!
However, I do have Tunnel Rat, Grunt, and Desert Snake Eyes being delivered today, so I can't complain too loudly.

The Piper and Steele set are still coming this year. Hang tight for the new sale date. Thank you for the update, Steve!

Thought I would give these a try after all the positive things I have seen/heard about them. They are pretty cool. As a kid who went absolutely bonkers for M.U.S.C.L.E. Things in the 80s (and still have a bunch!), I was very excited about these. Even if they're not quite the same (size and material are different), they're still close enough in my book and give me a similar feeling of nostalgia.

Personally, I had a love/hate relationship with him at the time. I HATED him, and couldn't wait to see him get beat. For that reason, I had a ton of respect for him. He knew that his job was to be a bad guy, and he executed it perfectly. He got nuclear heat, everywhere he went. Today, I have nothing but love and respect for HTM. I re-watch his past work with so much appreciation. Some of my favorite moments: I only got to see him wrestle live once. In Boise, during his feud with Jimmy Snuka. Snuka pinned HTM that night. I have some VERY dimly-lit/fuzzy pics around here somewhere. I couldn't wait to get his Hasbro figure, and it was SO hard to find. I finally found it three towns over in a local drug store. I was super excited, and still have him today. I loved loved LOVED how confused he was after he himself got the "El Kabong" treatment from his own guitar and was pinned by Dusty at SummerSlam '89. I thought that his post-match interview was hilarious. I thought that it was interesting that he was directly tied in with Brutus Beefcake during the first three Survivor Series PPVs. '87: HTM pins Beefcake. '88: HTM & Beefcake fought to a double-countout. '89: Beefcake pins HTM. I REALLY wish that he could have stayed longer in WCW. Another personal HTM fact that I just remembered: I always select HTM, along with Macho, as my tag team in the "WWF Superstars" arcade game!

My wife, who wants everyone to know that she is the best, bought a kid's meal today and asked them specifically for the last set that I needed! She just brought me set 6: Aquaman/Queen Mera/Black Manta, in green! Nice, but how did she know which figures were in the box? Are there codes on the boxes or something? Yessir, if you look on the bottom of the box, there's a colored circle with a number in it. The color of the circle is the same color as the characters within, and the number is the character set number that you're getting!

PJ Those little Wendy's DC figures look like MUSCLE men except they are blue. Close, but they're about 1/2-3/4" taller and made of hard plastic as opposed to rubber.

My Hogan and Piper preorders have been pushed back to Oct 13. The original date was Sept 20th. The next step will surely be - Your preorder has been cancelled. Yep, I also got that same exact email this morning. I suspect I'll get the same result (flat-out cancelation, if not a bunch more delays first).

In case anyone is interested, Wendy's Kid's Meals have DC Kinkeshi-style figures. About 2" inches tall (larger than M.U.S.C.L.E.), and made of plastic as opposed to rubber. There are 6 different sets of 3, in 4 possible colors (red, blue, purple, and green). The sets are: Batman/Catwoman/Nightwing Supergirl/Lex Luthor/Superman Cyborg/Cheetah/Wonder Woman Flash/Gorilla Grodd/Batgirl (I have this set in blue) Nubia/Sinestro/Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz) (I have this set in purple; my pic on IG below) Aquaman/Black Manta/Mera https://www.instagram.com/p/CwvgB_WSGpd So they are out now? Nice. I had read a post about these on Instagram by action figure insider last week. Yessir, but apparently some Wendy's haven't transitioned to these from last month's Kid's Meal toys quite yet. Mine sure has, and will probably go in to pick up a third set this evening. I'm going to gain a hundred pounds if I have to keep eating those kids' cheeseburgers!

Just got my Lawler/Vader/Bearer/UT set this morning (Washington state)! I think that my dream set would be: King Harley Race, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, Hercules, and Haku. I like that a lot. Wouldn't that technically be a Heenan Family set? Absolutely, but unfortunately my list has no room for the Brain himself!

I have always been a HUGE Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & Jumping Jim Brunzell) mark. When I was a kid, all my friends at school who watched wrasslin' loved the British Bulldogs, but I was all about the Bees. Hoping that I get a classic Killer Bess ringer t-shirt for my birthday from my wife this year!

Looks like the Limitless Bunny Bundle was quietly released today (at least for XBOX, which is my platform). Downloaded it before work this morning, but haven't had the chance to play it as of yet.
