Fantastic. Gives a bunch of guys something to do without having them lost in the match itself (a la a 30-man battle royal) while adding an interesting match that keeps the crowd engaged. Hope Ambrose gets his moment.

In no particular order....
-- Every part of the Divas segment at WM 25, from Kid Rock to Santina
-- Hogan leaving WM 9 with the title
-- Jericho/HHH being built as crappy as it was for WM 18 and STILL going on after Rock/Hogan
-- Kane vs. Khali happening at WM 23...instead of Kane in MiTB and Khali nowhere near the card
-- Jericho/Fandango at WM 29 instead of Jericho/Ziggler for the WHC (also to piggyback on that, Ziggler not cashing in at WM 29)

No point at all under any circumstances does Undertaker/Wyatt have to take place. If 'Taker loses it's meh because he already lost at Mania, if he wins (which he will if we're anticipating him vs. Sting next year) it does bugger all for Wyatt, who's already 0-1 at Wrestlemania.
The problem with Reigns/Lesnar is the finish is already telegraphed. Brock is dominant on his own. Make someone able to conquer the conquerer without the conquerer having a crutch. Don't have Brock go into Wrestlemania with "broken ribs" going up against a guy with a spear for a finisher and tell me to be invested in the match.

I think it's neat that smaller markets still get a larger show that's on TV as opposed to only getting house shows. It'd be cool if the SmackDown product improved--then you get a decent show in a big market on Raw and a decent show in a small market on SD.

I have my opinion...most of which has been stated already in this thread. I will say this however:
All this is doing is putting Punk into a bigger and bigger spotlight. All this attention--these stories, allegations, etc--is just making him a bigger name. Call his methods mad, sure, but this whole sequence of events since he's left WWE has done nothing but good for him as a business man. Good for him.

Ya see...having the WHC as well as the WWE Title in the mix lent its way to mystifying the outcome. That way one could add a couple more names to the possible winners list, propel a guy into the main event spotlight, AND provide an exciting and in most cases fresh build-up to a title match at Wrestlemania. Still think if Reigns was going after, say Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship instead of Brock's WWE Title there'd be a lot less bitching and moaning coming out of these boards, myself included. Still think unifying the belts hurt them in the long run. Just my 2 cents though....
The last 3 years' Rumbles were less about who was gonna win, and more about how they were gonna because we knew who was gonna win. 2012 was a surprise, yes, but as some of you have said with the talent pool (or lack thereof) in the match it wasn't really a thrill ride. The last true surprise coulda been 2011--the 40-man dynamic, we didn't know if someone could run from 1 or 2 all the way or how they would balance having 40 guys in the match. That was good.

Undoubtedly the best wrestler to ever work in the WWE and not win the World Title, although I will say I am content with the way he was handled. Looked like a million bucks every time he graced the ring.

Okay, first thing that got to me here....we're talking about a group of four....where's Adrian Neville in this? He's been featured as part of an "NXT Five" with these guys from the get-go.
Yeah the whole "Bourne got fired for not reporting to NXT" was deconfirmed the second he stepped foot in an NXT ring...which we've had threads and pictures of on this forum.
I hope it isn't true, mainly because (yeah, they are better than 95% of the talent WWE employs, but still) it doesn't set a good example for the rest of the locker room and it probably deters them from interacting with the four because they may come off as arrogent. Sure DeMott's a resident underachiever, but at the end of the day you should still listen to him.
But ultimately I call BS on this entire report. It comes from the same guy who reported AJ was pregnant. These guys are humble as hell and wouldn't be so foolish as to let the stardom on the NXT stage get to their heads.

I don't get why they need a card full of part-timers and legends to sell 100,000. First off it's a year away, second of all if the booking wasn't incoherent dogsh*t the card should sell itself. Tickets go on sale in November--it's not like the full card is released by then (hell the gameplan between November and March probably goes through a couple hundred iterations) so the majority of fans who are buying tickets aren't necessarily buying because they know they're gonna see X vs Y--they buy because it's Wrestlemania.
