I would like to bet this happened.
Impatient UK based collector who doesn't learn from prior mistakes -
"Dear Smyths. Are you stocking WWE elite 61 and 62?"
Underpaid, useless, inept Smyths Social Media Manager looks on Smyths website. They aren't there yet.
"No"
Impatient UK based collector who doesn't learn from prior mistakes - "Everybody, Smyths aren't getting in Elite 61 and 62."
Never has someone had the initiative to find head boys toys buyer on linkedin and asked them.
The better rumour I heard was that Smyths distributor is not getting WWE Elites in. This reeked. Smyths, a multi-million pound company, surely do not need a middle man. Their account is easily big enough to go to Mattel directly.

Kendrick 24.99
Postage 8.73
FX =33.72/1.3 spot rate = £25.93
Customs =25.93*0.2 = £5.18
Clearance charge = £8
Total £13.18. They stiff us on the FX rate.
This isn't weird. What was weird was how people got away with not paying it for ages when only ordering single figures. This seems to have gone out the window, making ringside only more attractive for large orders.
Amaz0n is cheaper because they have insane low shipping rates due to their scale, and very often 1 figure plus postage is under the £18 threshold.

Well that sucks big time! What did you order? Just one elite figure from US Won't be using fed ex again What was the figure bud? You can claim it back. If a figure is say 20 bucks and the shipping 10 bucks, the customs should be approx 8 (clearing) + 6 (20% of total cost)

These guys don't have a pot to pi55 in. They will jump on any available opportunity to make some cash. The issue for them is, the longer time has gone on, the less marketable most of them have become.
Not remotely surprised this was thrown out. It was a sham. A lot of those guys didn't even take regular bumps, or wrestle in WWE for long. The big names, who spent a long time in WWE shouldn't have tie'd themselves in with people who spent 10 mins in WWE.

Smyths get what they are given. that is the cold hard truth.
Seems to me that the A cases of the last several waves are all over the shop.
If you think they get to pick and choose, don't you think they would be swerving Monsters/tough talkers/ zombies ? Line's where prices have continually been hacked. And do you not think they would have asked for more Jeff hardy, less Miz and underselling Diva's? Wouldn't every shop be doing the same?
If AJ is 2-3 per case, he will be in the delivery, whether they want it or not.

What a commotion over the incompetence of Smyths web team again.......
Common sense.
What is going to be the highest packed figure in the box? Are Mattel going to send half full boxes?
It's likely to be Tyler and not AJ.

Mine has. Brand (Mattel) Line (Elite, DM, etc) Series number / Name (1, 2, 3, WM 30 BAF, ) Name (The Rock) Owned loose Owned MOC Notes (e.g Jomo Elite 4, Red jacket variant, bergundy variant) Approx Value (don't really use that.) Then, for my, to be made list, I have the following. Every person made by jakks and Mattel. Person, NOT character. so Mick foley has 1 line with 4 characters for examples. Made by Jakks (Yes / No) Made by Mattel (Yes / No) Then a list of Alumni and current roster with no figure made ever. WWE Alumni (Yes / No) On concussions suit (Yes / No) Works for the company now (Yes / No) On bad terms, or uncontactable (E.g Owen and Dino) Has a legends deal (Yes / No.) I've not updated it for quite a long time to be honest, but when I do I can share it. I'd be interested in even an un-updated version if you wanna share. I have had a running xml sheet for sometime but yours could help me fill in some major gaps! So much more info then I have. (Name, do i have, series) Send me your email bud.
It will take a while, but hopefully useful when I dig it out.

Anyone else find the new zombies in ASDA? Would certainly like a Charlotte for less than £22. I'm not an advocate for waiting for price reductions, but that price is a joke and if the older series are to go by, you will be 3 of them for that price soon!!

Fans want instant gratification. Rousey vs Charlotte at the next WM is blowing your load early.
This needs a 2 year build. At the moment both Faces.
Charlotte should go back to heel in 6 months. Have both women dominate for a year. building to what will be the biggest womens match of all time.
OP, no one is unbeatable, given things like multi opponent matches, chair shots, interference, and that's what will keep her hot. Being cheated out of the title at some point then winning it back.

I was just going to pair her with the latest DM Macho because "both their outfits are shiny" haha cheers 85 pipers pit, It was Macho revealing his manager I think when some of the others were bidding to be the manager.

"By day I'm a world class project manager for the UK's biggest investment bank. ( A transferrable skill) That fits the employable criteria" This is best thing i have read on this forum in years. People thought that Taker was the bonkers one. No praise like self praise buddy.
I'm pleased you enjoy it. What's the point of giving strong opinions if you can't back yourself?
I actually agree with @mattelfreak. You should not trust everything you read. However, after years of this, I know who on this forum is good and out to help, and who isn't. And I also know no to trust a single word that any customer service advisor gives as gospel.
"By night time, i am a world class figure collector. I would probably say in the top 10 in the world. My job as an investment banker allows me to analyse the figure market and strike the perfect deal. My motto is buy low and sell high. Once i managed to barter with an ebay seller and secured a price drop of £3. That secured the money for my Chai Latte on my way to work"
Quite funny, but Chai Latte's are so 2017. Keep it current.

Cringe all you want. I've got 4500 action figures, including 95% of Elites made by Mattel.
I am, sadly or not, an expert.
By day I'm a world class project manager for the UK's biggest investment bank. ( A transferrable skill) That fits the employable criteria.
The person you rang for confirmation will probably be living at home with his / her mum until 40. But take their word over mine. You will go far.
I will, because they are sat in front of a computer screen running their system. You can also see it yourself in a store if you ask the same question, im not into all this my dads bigger than your dad nonsense. Its a checkable fact. I will leave it there. Again
We can't get systems right here with £900 a day developers. Do you think they are paying someone to maintain their systems adequately?
Why do Smyths never get the dates right?
Why was Toys R Us website so utterly unusable?
Why do you put stuff in the basket at the entertainer only to see it bounce out because they are not tracking inventory in baskets properly?
I know the answer. The costs to fix these issues are too high for the reward they will get from fixing it. They are, and will remain useless..... until Blockchain is cheap for everyone...

To each their own. I would prefer the info of a group of experts that could easily work for Mattel (of which Im am one of many on this board), over a 2 bob an hour customer service rep who couldnt give a monkey shyte. Thats naive in the extreme. lol cringe Cringe all you want. I've got 4500 action figures, including 95% of Elites made by Mattel.

That's funny, seeing as they hadn't even hit stores at that point.. I would tend to go with the member of staff i spoke to rather than someone a on a forum To each their own. Er.. £34.99 was probably the original price they intended to sell the set at. Does not mean any of the sets were actually sold there at that price. If everyone is saying it was never sold any dearer than £14.99 then why not just accept this fact than needlessly arguing over a silly thing like this. lol not everyone is saying that It was 34.99 i saw it. Im not arguing, he is Further to that, its actually illegal for a store to list a 'sale' price if the item was never available to buy at the listed 'original' price Fake news. It's not illegal, but complaints about it can be upheld and you can be fined for false advertising.
You should avoid stating an RRP if you are the only seller. They were not the only seller.
They need to demonstrate that a significant amount of sales occurred at that price. They did. In fact it cost more to import it.
It was once sold at 39.99 USD, which is around 34.99, there is no where that specifies the country of sale, but you could buy it on Amazon the worlds biggest retailer for this price.

Booty O's were 100% 14.99 when it came here. I already owned one, but got one straight away because my original box was battered.
The Entertainer has consistently got old products at reduced prices. Not just wrestling. Star Wars Black series too.
And Booty O's and TNF were never on sale at Toy's R US. They are sold by Mattel, and wholesalers at discount rates, once the exclusive time period runs out with Walmart, etc, if the production run did not sell out. It's no coincidence that we started to get Elites at The Entertainer at the same time Smyths started getting a lot less stock in, and predominantly on wAves that rotted the shelves, like 51 and 53.

Seems like a shipment of AJ styles E56 has made its way to Smyths. This series was particularly low stocked. Every store has 5+. No other figs from the series though.

Watching it now on +1, the first match was terrible, especially the suicide dive between the ropes to the outside, falling short so his opponent could not catch him. Smith V Osprey was a case of big move then a pin too many times, impressive moves but just showing off essentially. As much as WWE and other types of big time wrestling can be criticised hugely, and I know it's the first show of ten so things could get better, the whole thing juts seems very weak, or maybe that is the intention of ITV. If so, they are idiots and need a lesson in how to film and present a wrestling series. The matches are essentially highlight reels. Any rest moves were edited out for TV. No way were they working at that pace. Don't forget they have to fit 4-5 matches into less than 45 mins of screen time. In an hour it's always going to be limited what they can show. On WWE superstars back in the day, it was 3-4 matches. 2-3 of them would be squashes, and then a few interviews to hype up upcoming events.
