Anyone think we'll eventually see the Epic Moments lines in stores like B&M or The Entertainer? I’m no expert on the issue but I imagine it works out like this: Mattel ships stuff to the UK either to Mattel UK or a distributor, whatever. Then retailers buy the stock from there. Stuff only ends up in the clearance outlets if the distributor has a surplus (IE, if not enough retailers pick up the series, or if the retailers just don’t pick it up at all - like Zombies series 2) SO, I guess it depends entirely on whether or not the Epic Moments series was even sent to the UK to start with. I know T&M or a store similar to that claimed that either the Festival of Friendship or Hardy Boyz set wasn’t being distributed to the UK Either way, I’d say there’s a chance. Not sure how much longer the discount store gravy train is gonna keep chugging along though I'm not sure it matters if it came here before. Considering The Booty's O's set, and now the TNF set. We had the first TNF basics, but deffo no Elites at Asda. It's a shame, if Asda had half a clue they could have had some success with that.

Anyone think we'll eventually see the Epic Moments lines in stores like B&M or The Entertainer? If people buy enough of the random WWE product they've been getting in lately (TNF, Bootyos, Network Spotlight) then I'd say theres a good chance. I agree with this. I think the Jericho Owens set is a given. That is so expensive for essentially 1 new figure. I don't see the Shield selling well. More rehashed figures. The Milk-o-mania one is genuine value for money at 50 bucks IMO. 3 solid figures. Good accessories. And The Hardy's, NO CHANCE!

Well the Mattel Q&A was disappointing to say the least. Not a single question asked about UK distribution, which is more than a fair thing to ask. I don’t know where the UK ranks in terms of sales behind the US, but it would be nice if a home for the Exclusives could be found here. I know that it is more likely down to the retailer than Mattel, but still. If you want to know about rank. There are 10000 Walmarts and Targets combined. That's before Amazon, Ringside, etc. We have 80 odd Smyths in England, and places where they sell unsold stock like Home Bargains and The Entertainer. We are less than irrelevant.

Now that we have a mullet warrior sculpt, I hope they make the most of it and do a 1990 Survivor Series Warrior. I always thought that the silver and white attire was really cool. One of my favourite teams too! ![](https://image.ibb.co/bVnnmy/IMG_0311.jpg) ![](https://preview.ibb.co/eM9BDd/IMG_0312.jpg) You're welcome! http://instagr.am/p/BNDUDQEg_0f

Hi just started collecting again, looking to make a checklist for Hasbro, Jakks and Mattel figures. And if possible can anyone give an example of an excel spreadsheet. Just not sure how to list them (colour of packaging, attire, accessories etc) just looking for ideas and a more complete checklist I can work from. Thanks in advance Mine has. Brand (Mattel) Line (Elite, DM, etc) Series number / Name (1, 2, 3, WM 30 BAF, ) Name (The Rock) Owned loose Owned MOC Notes (e.g Jomo Elite 4, Red jacket variant, bergundy variant) Approx Value (don't really use that.) Then, for my, to be made list, I have the following. Every person made by jakks and Mattel. Person, NOT character. so Mick foley has 1 line with 4 characters for examples. Made by Jakks (Yes / No) Made by Mattel (Yes / No) Then a list of Alumni and current roster with no figure made ever. WWE Alumni (Yes / No) On concussions suit (Yes / No) Works for the company now (Yes / No) On bad terms, or uncontactable (E.g Owen and Dino) Has a legends deal (Yes / No.) I've not updated it for quite a long time to be honest, but when I do I can share it.

Just had an e-mail from Amazon, saying they've refunded me £3.96 (because of reduced export fees) from when I ordered the E58 Mickie James. Nice... that meant she was actually less than retail price. :D That's cool. I've been reluctant to pull the trigger a few time cos I thought shipping had gone up. Looks like they are just covering themselves. What was the dollar price + shipping Steve? 19.99 Plus 6?

BTW, the way I've avoided that in the past is to put an order in for all their stock.
Then just walked out if there is nothing I like. What are they gonna say?

I went to Argos last week with hopes of picking up a NXT Roode. Anyway after the whole "Can I view the figures your Grace?" and I'm left to wait for 14 mins (I timed it on my phone). My order was first yet they served around 6 other people before me. Apparently a mini fridge is more important than a wrestling figure. After the 14 mins I tell them "I been here for a while". So then they bring out a NXT Asuka. I ask "Can I view the other figures?" They respond smugly "Sorry, not enough time for that". British customer service at its best, Rule Britannia! The whole thing could be avoided if they did individual item numbers for individual figures and given the power of technology I do not really understand why they do not do this. Oh, I would have torn them so many new a45eh0les. Shredded them to pieces in front of every customer. And then got the manager, and done it again.

- Should’ve already released Demolition (different face paint maybe?, less bondage gear?) around the time of E28 Crush release. Instead they made no money from people going to the secondary market and buying Ax & Smash to go with Crush - Legends 5 (and 6) was such a disaster distribution wise, they should’ve rereleased Martel or but him in powder blue and gave him his puffy hair or something. At the very least should have given us something to use to get the Steike Force Tito’s off the shelves. - Akeem (see Legends 5 issues above) should have found a way to sneak in that One Man Gang. Just more examples of Mattel squandering away opportunity after opportunity. Acting like ‘there’s always next year or the year after’ And most of not all of this could have happened prior to the concussion lawsuit mess Couldn't be more wrong. Line had already failed by series 4 and 5. You cant distribute if no retailer buys it....

I've contacted Smyths and told them Elias is missing from Elite 60 online. Whether they do anything about it is another story. I do understand what you're saying. For years we got all 6 figures, we're now getting 5. Surely someone, somewhere can account for why we're getting this alternative assortment rather than what we used to get? I can't claim to be an expert or have any inside scoop, but I guess it comes down to one of two things: - Smyths are actively ordering this alternative assortment. As has been discussed, WWE sales at Smyths (as far as my eyes can see) have declined a fair bit since I started collecting, and as a result they've resorted to ordering in fewer cases. Maybe they decided to roll the dice and try something new. IE: Assortment A is a case with all characters, whereas Assortment B is lighter on the perceived 'less popular' characters, and heavier on the 'more popular characters'. Example: Chad Gable is less likely to sell than Finn Balor. Obviously the contents of the assortments is Mattel's call. Smyths only order cases, not individual characters. - Another possibility is that Mattel has simply decided to start sending Smyths Assortment B and Smyths aren't questioning it. As others have said, we're collectors, we know there's 6 figures per series. We're wrestling fans, we (well, some of us) watch the show every week. So it's all very obvious to us when we don't get a figure that we've been waiting for for months, but to Smyths? Unfortunately for us Mr Smyth doesn't know who or what an Elias Samson is, all he knows is numbers, so he probably has no idea there's a missing character. Had business been better WWE-wise, maybe he'd make more of an effort to rectify the issue and to make sure we had access to the full assortment, but after years of people pestering Smyths to stock everything then not actually buying them off the shelves (see: Hall of Fame 2 and 3), he feels less inclined to jump through hoops for us These are the two key bits here mate. - Smiths aren't actively doing anything. This is the full extent of the conversation
Mattel "How many cases of Elite 60 do you want?, here are the pics for the website" SMyths "46" (Goes away and put pics of Elias up on website. ) - I can say going on the similar scenarios in the past, that we are almost 100% certainly getting WAVE A. And that is what was ready. And Smyths took it without an incline of a thought as to what was inside.
I'm sure that some cheeky salesman got them to buy HOF after about 10 people from here pestering them to buy it, even though most of us bought them 8 months earlier from the US! I'm not surprised they have done none since. And I won't be surprised when Argos stop getting NXT in.

There's no such thing as a short packed case. They just order elite figures from Mattel, and they come in cases of 8. Mattel decides the assortments in the case, just the same as they did in Elite 10, Elite 16, Elite 21, Elite 25 etc. For whatever reason (maske2g covers various possibilities), they sometimes take some of the characters out of some assortments. In the case of Chad Gable, probably because he was pretty much a non-entity after the American Alpha split, so wasn't on TV much at the time these sets were going into full production, and Mattel was fearing millions of him left on shelves if he was in both assortments of the series. That isn't the issue. The issue is that Smyths are ordering cases that don't have every figure in. Smyths don't have the expertise, or the need, to care about our tiny little collector community. They order, they receive, they sell. If the wave a or b shipping assortments arrive, it makes zero odds to Smyths, it is just annoying for us. Smyths will sell the figs regardless.

Replying to Joes message about the missing figures. I don't want to again say I told you so when it comes to reduced availability in the UK. I've batted on about it enough. It is what it is. It was always going to happen, and it has happened. So instead, for Elias, Mickie James, etc I will go with a couple of alternate theories based on recent and historic moments in the line. Please remember these are theories and not gospel based on extensive experience. - There is historical cases of 0.5 figures per wave. 1 in every 2 boxes. Nash and Diesel. Ted Jr series 10. Eve Torres basic 8. Neville. Among others. I don't like to base shelf warmers off of one local store, but by all accounts Charlotte and Alexa Bliss are on discount all over the globe. US as well. Considering the age of these figures now, the fact that they can't sell at 10 quid tells me that Mattel feel Mickie won't sell either and could be short packed. I don't think that packing them 2 per box was smart. And going 0.5 per box could have gone to the extreme other direction. Regardless, we just seem to have the short straw. I think this is the likely explanation for Mickie.
- We also have precedence of running changes and figures not being ready for the first wave of shipments. In these scenarios, the UK almost ALWAYS have got the first wave. Recent memorable example. Sting and his laced DM boots variant. I think this is a good a chance as any for the missing Elias.
What I don't think the likelihood is....... - They are picking on the UK. Mattel probably got to a point a long time ago where they don't care about us. Despite the fact, exclusive lines arrived here late, and failed, because the hardcore collectors got them already. And figure sales have genuinely dropped off a cliff. We have reduction on reduction, mass collection selloffs by some of the most well known collectors on facebook, 2ndary market prices plummeted, and TRU going under. Our tiny little Island is no longer relevant to Mattel I'm afraid. They are not trying to nitpick about whether 12 people on here can get Elias easily or not.
- Smyths selected to not have those figures. Nah... Smyths, like Mattel are simply too big to worry about our little community. They want the latest waves in before the competition. if the wave doesn't yet have one of the figures in, do you think they are going to say to Mattel, "oh wait a minute, no Mickie James yet? In that case, hold off, we want our completion to sell 200 Jeff Hardys before us, so that we can get that particular shelf warmer in." (This is way too much detail too, but that's what I would be thinking!!)
There is a strong rumour right now that the NXT series 3 basics are cancelled in the US. I personally feel that outside of our country, Mattel have absolutely saturated the market in the past year. Is it finally catching up? I don't know. They are still the number 1 action figure line. But when you consider that their rivals are Star Wars and their sales have been in sharp decline, and Marvel legends which are regularly mass reduced, number 1, could mean the best sales of a bad bunch. I get berated on here sometime by people that think I'm trying to shill the figures I have for sale, and other such nonsense. The reality is, I've worked in equities for investment banks for almost 20 years, I know what it takes for companies to be profitable. Despite this expertise, if I tell you Mattel's share price is near to 25 year lows, and is down 60% in 5 years, while the whole US market is up around 90%, it doesn't take my skill to recognise that things are not too rosey. It is going to be harder and harder for Mattel to freshen the line, though they have continued to surprise me. It takes a year to make new characters, and we are running out of Flashbacks. Flashbacks that are made now are for the hardcore figure collector and WWE old school fan. And I'm afraid to say that we are all middle aged men now!! When real priorities come along, something has to give. Nothing lasts forever . I've got extensive collections of Star Wars originals, Transformers G1, He-Man. They are 3 of top 5 action figure lines of all time. And what happened to them? They died. They ran out of ideas, and ways to keep people interested. With no movie, Star Wars toys died. G1 after planes, trucks, guns, walkmans, dino's, beasts, combiners, headmasters, insects, simply ran out of things to robertise!, and he man got tired, but I still blame Dolph Lundgren! Mattel can only make wrestlers. And while WWE keep churning out small, black trunk, glorified gymnasts, instead of believable, larger than life characters that we want to love and hate, they will have a hard time keeping people interested. Except for Velveteen Dream......they should just make an entire wave dedicated to him.......

If I order one figure from Ringside, how much custom charges can I expect when postman knock's on door? Always assume 8 quid plus 20% of cost and postage total. Then when they don't charge customs for a single figure, celebrate. It's never a given. What you after? Group purchase could work well.

The news many of you have been waiting for: Entrance Greats Kurt is now reduced to £24.99, which is actually a pretty realistic price. I just went to mine and unfortunately none of them had decent paint, so I guess I'll just wait for Elite 59 Mine has a load Joe, shall I have a look for you?

To be honest as a new store it feels like they transferred a load of unsold Charlotte and Alexa. There was only ever 2 Usos, 2 jacks, 2 swanns in stock. A far cry from a year ago.. this store is not the benchmark. But you can see the stock numbers in all the stores online. From 54 until 58 you can see a marked decline. It use to be quite easy to get everything online, it's impossible lately. Hold on here, you've been doing nothing but moaning about how smyths can't sell figures anymore and no one wants to buy WWE figs anymore. So which is it? cause your now moaning about your local store always selling out of the figures you want.(how could that be you keep claiming that no ones buying them anymore)??? Mate ordering online has been getting better and better over the last year. You can usually order a week in advance off them hitting the stores. You seam to have it in for smyths, perhaps you should take that up with them instead of us dealing with your ever changing daily mood swing against them. I personally have no problem with them the same 99% on here. What are you talking about? They are selling out because they aren't ordering even 20% of what they use to. I actually have 4 local stores. It's not a demand issue. There is no supply. I don't have it in for smyths. For 2 years, I said to support our best source because when they get fed up with losing money they will stop ordering in huge size. I don't blame them at all. They have probably now found their sweet spot. In addition to everyone waiting for bargains, demand has dropped off a cliff for 80% of figures made. Flashbacks don't sell here until discounted, because the wrestlers were fringe wrestlers in their heyday. Divas dont sell here because they have gone from short packed to over packed. Exclusives don't sell here because they are very expensive. NS, DM, been heavily reduced. And the amount of US exclusives have dampened the spirit of a lot of collectors. 35 quid a pop for things like TNF and HOC. The pound weakness and oil price hasn't helped us with prices and within 2 to 3 months you can expect basics and 2 packs to go back up to their peak prices be a use it had plumetted 7 cents recently. With regards to ordering online for 4 years, I reckon I got 80% of series online in 1 hit. You usually got 2 or even 3 bites of the cherry for even the most in demand figures. I guarantee we won't get that with Jeff hardy and Kurt Angle now. I'd bet in size in fact.

The case breakdown says otherwise. Alex and Charlotte were 2 per case. Charlotte may even have been 3. Alexa was 5 series ago, way back in 2017, but how long did it take to sell the Big E's? Ages. Cena from Elite 54 is now 7 quid. that was the other multi packed fig in the case. so yes, they sold the tiny amount of 1 per case figs for sure. The demand isn't here. The facebook groups are all sellers and can't sell a thing. I listed 200 for sale last week, and sold 3. The buyers that are left all thought they were really clever waiting for extreme discounts, and wow, are picking up a boogeyman for a tenner so all is right in their world. The breakdown was 2 per case, again if there 20 off one figure sitting on the shelf then they went thought 10 cases. That means there selling 40 to 50 off each figure per store. That's not counting the 20 Alexa or what ever it is. Not just 1 figure of each per series. Just how many figures are you expecting them to sell? You seam disappointed that there not selling more. Sorry your figures didn't sell but that's not really relevant to all this, are you coming across as bitter that smyths can sell them sort off numbers and you can't. To be honest as a new store it feels like they transferred a load of unsold Charlotte and Alexa. There was only ever 2 Usos, 2 jacks, 2 swanns in stock. The time has finally come. Elites in abundance in the UK, are no more. Remember how I kept on telling you to support your best figure source? That Smyths will stop ordering figures if we keep waiting for deals? We've reached that point. My Smyths has about 40 Elites in, about 35 of those are Charlotte and Alexa. No wonder they were adamant about no Mickie James. Elite's 57 and 58 have been and gone before you could blink. 1 set of each. I hate to say I told you so, but did you think that Smyths would carry on bleeding money on WWE the way they were? 50 and 75% reductions. Sometimes 20% off offers on 1st dat of release. it was not sustainable. Good luck everyone who didn't manage Jeff and Kurt Angle. But don't worry, at least we will be able to get an Alexa at Home Bargains / B&M/ The entertainer. for 8.99..... It's pretty clear figures are selling, for every 2 charlotte and Alexa that usually means they sold the rest of the case and ordered in more. They do it all the time. It's basic retail common sense, supply and demand. So if there's 20 alexas sitting on the shelf, then they've sold 10 cases in that one store alone. So there clearly selling. As for reducetions they don't have too any more cause there main competition is gone. As of the the Jeff and Kurt there shelf warming bad in all the stores around me.
