So I've taken a liking to this promotion, I never really followed closely but knew the Roster and some storylines..
Any DVD Recommendations, the only one I'm certain is Chapter 11.
Thanks in Advance....

Your best bet is to get one of the "Best of DVDs", preferably 2007.

Oh yeah good call. Best of 2007 is great.
Cheech and Cloudy vs the Olsens from Cibernetico and Robin is on there, and that was my favorite indy match of 07

2008 King of Trios would be a good investment. A nice spread of everyone involved through the 2008 season.

You could start off by bidding on my auction. The Absolute Worst of Equinox, anyone? In all seriousness, so far, I think that 2008 Young Lions Cup - Night 3 has been the best CHIKARA show of the year.

They're older, but I really recommend Tag World Grand Prix 2005 and Young Lions Cup III. TWGP05 was a pivotal event in CHIKARA's history, marking the beginning of the feud of Quack and Hero and the founding of the Kings Of Wrestling, both of which would dominate CHIKARA's cards for the next 2 years following. YLCIII is also great, and the finals between Shane Storm and Icarus are a must see, plus the old Pittston shows are great. It also has a very good anything goes tag match between Cheech & Cloudy and Matt Turner & Anthony Franco.

I'm glad you say that. I'm recieveing the first four shows after Tragedy and Triumph in the next few days. I can't wait to see The Unstable and see all the new storylines progress. I skimmed the match lineup and saw the new stable by accident. But I havent really watched anything since the end of T & T. Can't wait.
CHIKARA is certainly one of my favorite feds, but not sure if I can call it my favorite. They certainly have my favorite storylines and angles.

Tragedy and Triumph was excellent. Nice to see that raw side of Mike Quackenbush, with less flippidy and more asskicking.
KoT 08 was pretty good also, but after so long, I got tired of the Trios matches. For me, my favorite CHIKARA shows have been the YLC's.
And yes, to the person who mentioned Up in Smoke vs. the Olsens from Cibernetico, that match rules.

From Zero to Hero & Castagnoli certainly isn't must have.. ..but yeah, I've gone off CHIKARA lately. I don't think the promotion is as good as it used to be to be honest.

You get the Olsens vs. Up In Smoke, which was a great opener, a fantastic 6 man with a good storyline developing and a nice main event. Besides, the cover art rocks! I will agree that Chikara isnt as good as it was in 04-06. It lacks intimacy that it had in those times, working the smaller venues. Since they have a monthly show or 2 in Philly......its just not as much fun. I love Reading, Pittston was great.....give me the backwoods of Barnesville for Christ sakes.....but not Philly.

I would imagine from a business point they have to run in Philly now to survive.
