When I was 20, I was at a show with two of my friends who were both 19 at the time. Apparently, at some point during the night, and undercover cop came by and caught 8 kids outside drinking. More cops were called, and in the end, everyone in the room who was under 21 was brought to jail, guilty or not. Pick your battles. Avoid parties like that. exactly what i was saying.

half you people are paranoid bastards. 'underage drinking' rabble rabble rabble and people like you are stupid, i've been in this situation before where i had gone to jail along with several people because underaged drinking is illegal, and since your 18 the responsiblity falls on you as an ADULT. some people like you are morons.

The thing I didn't mention in the original post was that a similar situation happened to me freshman year. Again, I wasn't drinking, but people were drinking in my room and got busted, obviously, it was their fault, but I got in trouble because of the "guilt by assocation rule". Being that it wasn't in my room this time, I think nothing is going to happen.

Well, if they an prove you are underage, you'll probably get a $50 fine and one class on alcohol. That's how they do it at my school.

Do you go to this college? If its a college decision, then you are def ed my friend, they will put you on probation or what not, you wont be arrested if thats what you are worried about. Colleges police themselves differently, and you will be guilty by association if thats the case.

find a friend with an off-campus place to party. and I doubt you'll be in trouble since they didn't check your ID, so you could've told them a fake name for all they know.

Unless they go by the "guilty by association" rule, I wouldn't worry about it. They can't do that with drinking. They have to prove he was drinking at the time. Which they can't.

Theres a possibility of you going to federal prison for quite some time. But you still may be able to escape jail time, but that possibility is slim to none.

You should turn yourself in right now, seeing how they have your name and there is more than likely a warrant out for your arrest.

i don't know if your college program works in points or not, but i know a friend of mine had like 6 points or something like that. he got busted drinking once and it was 2 points, and got busted again and it was 3. so he has one point remaining...you should probably just look into your college's outlines for crap like that.

I looked in my college handbook. The worst that could happen would be probation for the rest of my college career and 5 hours of community service. I won't be going to jail all you s who said I would. It will most likely take several weeks for me to find out if anything comes out of this situation or not. I'm hoping for nothing. If I actually did something to get in trouble, I would accept the consequences.
