I would have it open to start Mania and then close it as the sun goes down

It'll be closed without a doubt. You wouldn't be able to have it start off open and close half way during the Show, since it takes several hours for Stadium roofs to open and close. Plus, the atmosphere will be a lot louder with the roof shut.

It takes 9 mins for Lucus Oil Stadium (home of the Indy Colts) roof to close Reliant Stadiums roof can close completely in 7 minutes

I think it should be closed! I attended Mania 24 and it sucked sitting in the damned rain.

Thats why you get the option to close it I dont know a lot about the weather in Tx around Mania time but I assume with the sun out it would be fairly warm. Keep it open and let the sun beam down on the ring. Then as the sun goes down and it gets cooler, close the roof, turn down the lights and let the place light up. Of course I also dont know what time the sun goes down in Texas either

I think if the weather is nice, leave it open. If it sucks, close it up.

Without the roof, there would be no place to hang support beams, lights and speakers. Unless of course they construct a roof for the ring like they did last year, which is unlikely.

But, I'm bloody suprised at them other two though. The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff takes almost 3 hours, so I presumed others were similar times.

Probably stupid question... but would the roof shutting mid show make noise?
Like... loud enough to disturb the show? or are they relatively quiet?

did they ever fix the roof after the hurricane? I went to the last Texan game of the season, and it was still broken. On topic, I think it should be closed.

Then next time say you assume that they wont, instead of saying "no they cant" And i hope they leave it open, outdoor event always seem more special. It gives the whole event a different feel from others, and thats the way WM should be.
