Only thing that keeps me alive during the summer, is the transfers ;D.
Mario Gomez is joing Bayern Munich, greedy signing tbh. it seems Bayern want to take all the strikers from the top clubs. They've also signed Ivica Olic from Hamburg.

Looks like Beckford will be on his way out of Leeds.
He has been trasnfer listed after turning down a new deal.

Shame that because he's done such a good job with Hamburg, but they've sold Olic to Bayern and I suppose you can't really turn down Ajax even though they are in a bad state at the moment.

Too good for Newcastle ;D I can see him joining Middlesbrough though. Since it looks like they are losing Alves, Mido & Tuncay, plus he was linked there in the past.

As long as no-one leaves Man Utd, I would be completely happy with having to transfers at all.
In goal I think Foster may get more games with Sir Alex easing VDS out.
In defence, our CB has enough cover with Evans, Brown, Oshea and Neville if needed.
The full backs are also stocked up, with Fabio, De Leat and Oshea covering for Evra, whlst Osheah can also play on the right, where there is Neville, Rafael and Brown.
In centre mid we can alter to suit the opposition with Carrick, Giggs, Scholes, Fletcher, Anderson and the returning Hargreaves, all with Gibson and Possebon coming through.
On the wings we have Ronaldo, Nani (hopefully will be moe consistant), Park and Tosic coming through.
Up front, we have Tevez, Rooney, Berba and Macheda, Wellbeck and Campbell if he is not sold.
We are rumored to go for Valencia, who would provide extra competition for the wing.

One winger, Valencia or Ribery, would have suggested Downing if he didn't get injured, & Tevez is all we need to think about this time around.

Money, Tevez, Middlesborough relegated. Those are my reasons to buy Downing. Someone is buying the guy, don't see why we shouldn't think about it, if were still unsure what were doing about Tevez.

But I'd rather keep Tevez than lose him to buy Valencia. Ribery wouldn't be so bad if we lost Tevez, if we can get one of them and keep Tev then awesome but I'm not sure we can do that. Enter Downing, purely a spare, plus he might come on because he isn't bad by any means, not as good as those 2 tho obviously.

David Gill has said that it stil isn't confirmed that Tevez is off and United may yet pay the £25.5m for him.
Would love to keep him.

Transfer thread gets more active when another one is opened ;D
Ribery was only rumored to join Man Utd if Ronaldo left I think. Never going to happen, but I can see our summer being ruined again with nothing but Ronaldo talk.
I can see Xabi Alonso moving on, especially if Barry goes to Liverpool. Real were in for him.
I've heard Arsenal want Hangeland and could offer £8mil, and that Petrov could leave City.

Can't wait for all the tabloid bullcrap (As long as it's not about Ronaldo, or indeed any one person) - Already read that Lennon is going to Man U and Aguero to Chelsea for £50 mil lol

As long as spurs can keep Lennon, get rid of that peice of crap Bentley, Bent and Corluka and buy a decent Back-up striker to Defoe and Keane seeing as Bent is bent!!!

Our transfers are going to depend on Tevez. If he stays I doubt we'll sign anyone.
I think Fraizer Campbell will be sold. Hopefully we keep Lee martin and send one of Macheda/Welbeck on loan to a championship team. I'd send Cathcart and Cleverley to a championship side as well maybe even Gibson and keep Possebon.
