You don't want Europa League next season anyway. Isn't it like an extra 19 games a season? Yeah which is like playing 1 1/2 seasons if you make it to the final. It's not even happened yet, but you can tell UEFA Cup is much better even if it is just a crapty CL.

Europa League is for the hard working teams of Europe. Champions League is for the teams who can buy their way to the top of Europe.

And yes we bought Torres and Keane but Keanes gone so yeh... you've probably spent more than Liverpool in terms of net transfers... this season liverpool spent what 10M for Cavalieri and Riera and N'Gog? we recovered the money for Keane...

Probably because it just so happens that the best Teams in Europe that win their Domestic League's every year will obviously have a bigger bank than Teams that finish lower down in the Table, or are from Eastern European Countries...

So get off your high horse and stop thinking Liverpool did it the old fashioned way.

We paid 15M of that fee by then and sold him for 20M So I think you'll find Liverpool spent 19.5M. Oh and another thing yes Tosic didnt play but him and Ljajic cost united around 20M So get off YOUR high horse

Keanes fee to pool was 20M, we were paying it in installments. We paid I believe 15 or 5M or something, either way we actually made money off the deal because we sold him without paying the full price... It's right.

You're fooling yourself kid.
Liverpool, in no uncertain terms, did not make any kind of profit on Robbie Keane. Even Rafa admitted that it was a loss but getting rid of him in January would be slightly less.
You're a proper tit.
And I was counting transfers that made a difference to the title race. Tosic played the last 16 minutes against WBA when we were already 5-0 up and Ljajic hasn't joined us yet.
Idiot.

I wouldn't have counted any of these then: Dossena - 7m Cavaleiri - 3m N'Gog - 1.5m Andsides it doesn't matter get over it. If you have the money to spend then there is no problem. It's not a competition to see who can spend the least, and that's coming from a BURNLEY fan. ==== Transfers: Looks like Kaka is joining Madrid.

And we didnt use him for half the season so thats £10M for Keane? which is less than you spent? Exactly

Think I read somewhere Rafa's spent £210 million. Bit excessive for turning a one man team into a two man team.

Fair enough, but still nowhere near as bad as KP Boateng or Bentley. But Bridge is possibly the worst player I have ever seen at Left back. And I am not taking abuse from a United 'fan' from Essex. He is infact the second worst left back in the world - the other being another city player in michael ball - <<< crap

I honestly do not think Bridge is THAT bad myself Where will Kaka be on Monday, my bet is either Real or he'll do what he done when City came knocking.
