I saved up allowence, shoveling snow raking leaves and Delevering flyers for a good 2 years before that. now i just spend it as soon as I get it.

Good lord, are you a doctor or a drug dealer? You must have some sort of insane amount of income to throw your money around like that, or you're in debt up to yor eyeballs and don't ever plan on getting out. nope no debt other than a couple hundred on a credit card. i was just always good with my money and saved everything i made. i used to work under the table as a waiter when i was 14 and saved all the cash. i actually drive a truck for a living and it's all about being smart with it. that year was over the top but. i don't ever buy anything i can't affordIf you had to make payments on it, you can't afford it.

Where I live you have to make payments on a house or condo. Unless you're retired or make a heap of money. The average price for a 3 bd 2 bath 2k sq ft house is around $600k. The minimum price, for a 1000 sq ft 2 bd 1 bath condo, will run you $250k.

A house is one thing as it's not that realistic to expect everyone to save up $70-80k or more and pay cash. It's part of the American dream. There's no reason to make payments on anything else though.

If you had to make payments on it, you can't afford it.

When my mom passed away I got her house.
Thats been kind of expensive becuase I am not paying to rent, I am paying to own.
Also after my house got robbed I got an insurance check so I spent about $4000 then.
Now that I have a good job I spend alot, mostly on bills and essentials.
But this has been my most expensive year by far.

Put $13,000 down on a mercedes, spent roughly $15,000+ on a vacation to Ibiza all within a month so that I believe is the most I spent without it being made out in payments. Jesus Christ. Are you a doctor or a ing hitman?

Well when I leave school in a year, after all the money my parents have put forth toward tuition, I'll have about $21k to pay myself, which isn't too bad...
But I'm a broke college student at the moment and it seems that whenever I save up a good amount, I always find something to spend it on that's completely ridiculous.. like a pair of jeans that I just bought, cost me $275.. and last November, I bought a ringside seat to Survivor Series, another $300.. and back in February I bought Jonas Brothers tickets for $200, but sold them for $1500 because I was lucky enough to score 2nd row seats.. That REALLY helped me out this summer because I got laid off from my only job as a graphic designer.

I spent about 25,000 dollars on a divorce. You're divorce comments always make me laugh man. You're gonna keep most of the kids on this board from getting married with all the horror stories
