I don't get why the Yankees are going to take 15 positional players. Even if you want to pinch run with Guzman/Gardner, you still shouldn't be pinch running to the point where you need to use 6 players off the bench. I think the Yankees are trying to hard to strategize their way to the World Series. Let your best players and pinch run in the ninth inning of a tie/one run game. No need to have three catchers, five outfielders and six infielders. Its unneeded. Bingo. Really...I wouldn't mind any combination for the World Series this year. We have got a pretty solid group of teams in the playoffs this year. It should be exciting! ;D

The Phillies won it last season, and the Dodgers haven't been there in a while.
Dodgers/Yankees is the big ticket world series out of the possible outcomes... LA/LA wouldn't be awful, boston/la, st. louis/boston, new york/st. louis, philly/boston, philly/new york are all good potential matchups though.
No disrespect, but I don't think MLB wants to see the Rockies and Twins in the World Series.

They definitely don't want that. Which is why I do.

They definitely don't want that. Which is why I do. Hey....it wouldn't be a bad series. Also, the diehard baseball fans would watch it regardless so.... Meh. I'm content with any combo as I said before. Tie-breaker soon. This should be interesting... ;D

Cliff Lee gets the game 1 start for the Phillies. I would have prefered Hamels because he has proven he can pitch in the postseason and also has been a lot more consistent than Lee lately. However, I'm not complaining, especially since Lee is a perfectly capable pitcher. Hope he shows up for his first career postseason game

Bruntlett was left off the post season roster for the NLDS. Very strange.

Once again, I'm baffled by MLB's decision to start a game like this in the middle of the workday. It's like they don't want people to watch it.

I must say, even for this game going over The Office, it's been a great one.

What a game! Exciting finish.
I think the Tigers were in first place since late May. Sucks for them.

Great Game. Tigers choked and this was the result. Kind of feel bad for them.
