Monday 3rd January 2000 Miami, Florida, USA; American Airlines Arena - The opening video sequence occurs, showing different clips of the old RAW is WAR set. This is followed, not by a video package reviewing last week's installment of the World Wrestling Federation, but instead, we skip right into the RAW opening video package, set to 'Thorn In Your Eye' by Such a Surge. We're live from Miami, Florida for this edition of RAW is WAR! Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to a new millenium, a new year, and a new dawn in the World Wrestling Federation. They refer to the continuation of the infamous McMahon-Helmsley reign of terror, as we are met by the booming sound of 'Break It Down' by the DX Band!
- The crowd roars into boos, as the theme of D-Generation X hits the arena, the leader and his wife, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley leading the way, as they were followed by X-Pac and the WWF Tag Team Champions, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, the New Age Outlaws. The faction slowly walk down the rampway to the ring, as the crowd chant 'you suck' at the powerful group of superstars, Road Dogg shutting them up by yelling in rhyme that DX are here to speak, and that the Miami crowd should shut their traps. Triple H immediately takes the microphone, as he had a massive grin on his face, Triple H speaking out that it was all good, because Mankind was no longer limping around the WWF locker room! Triple H tells the fans that he is so happy that they got rid of the guy, because he is a walking disaster, and he's proud to say that it was all up to one guy, and he wanted to thank The Rock! Triple H reminds people by showing a video package from last week's edition of RAW on the TitanTron, showing The Rock beat Mankind in a Pink Slip on a Pole match following interference from Al Snow. Triple H was in hysterics as Stephanie grinned menacingly, Triple H then tells everybody that tonight, because it was a special occasion, he has decided to pull 'it' out. The crowd were confused, as Hunter announced that tonight, he'd be going after the WWF Championship in the hands of the Big Show! The crowd gave that a mixed reaction, as Triple H then mysteriously said that it would involve zero interference, which also confused the faction themselves. Suddenly, the theme of The Rock hit, as he came out to the rampway to a thunderous ovation, from his hometown in Miami! Rock began to tear apart DX verbally, but Triple H killed it by telling Rock to enjoy tonight, because no matter what he says, he's so happy with him, he's giving him the Mankind treatment; tonight, Rock will fight with his job on the line against X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws! The crowd booed as Rock looked slightly discontent, DX on a roll tonight!
- Commercial Break
- A replay of what just occured plays, reminding us if you just tuned into USA Network that D-Generation X were in the ring, and Triple H made a match between himself and the Big Show tonight for the WWF Championship, but also, The Rock's job will be on the line in a handicap match with X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws!
- Match #1: The Dudley Boyz defeated Too Cool with Rikishi PhatuThe official was Mike Chioda This wasn't a solid match, but it was a nice show of two different styles, the Dudley Boyz showcasing their hard-hitting roughhouse abilities against Too Cool's unorthodox, high-flying style. Too Cool did some double-teaming at the start, but D-Von took Scotty 2 Hotty down, the Dudley Boyz beating down Scotty. Grandmaster Sexay soon got the tag, though, he ran into the ring and went after both men, but when up top going for the Hip Hop Drop on Bubba, D-Von shoved him off the top and crotched him over the top rope! Sexay hung up to dry, Bubba and D-Von got in position and landed the 3D for the win!
- The Dudley Boyz celebrated their victory over Too Cool as they headed for the back, the Mean Street Posse coming out for some reason. Led by British Bulldog, Rodney, Pete Gas and Joey Abs all strutted to the ring, but Rikishi Phatu tossed Abs and Gas out of the ring whilst they attempted to beat down Grandmaster Sexay, then clocking Rodney upside the head with a stiff kick! Rikishi Phatu helped Too Cool to their feet, the trio celebrating in dance in the ring.
- We go to the backstage hallway as Michael Cole was standing by with The Acolytes, and Bradshaw and Faarooq were going bezerk about the situation where The Rock was in a position where he could lose his job, and he was facing three members of D-Generation X; two of whom they will be facing for the WWF Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble! Bradshaw and Faarooq promised to get involved in the altercation later tonight.
- We go to the office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley as they talk about how The Acolytes want to get their noses in on the You're Fired handicap match tonight with The Rock and his D-Generation X comrades, then they've got another thing coming. Triple H bans interference from the You're Fired match, under penalty of being fired themselves, and also adds the stipulation of falls count anywhere to the match! Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, as Steve Blackman wandered into the room. Triple H asks Blackman if he was asked to get involved in Kurt Angle's matches. Steve tells Hunter that he was, Hunter then telling Steve that if he hit Test tonight, he'd be fired. Blackman accepted, walking away confused as Steph asks Hunter why Test. Triple H mentioned Test facing Kurt Angle tonight, then bringing up Test's new year's resolution being to end Kurt Angle's winning streak. Triple H grins.
- Match #2: Kurt Angle defeated Test by disqualification The referee was Mike Sparks Not to important of a match here, as Kurt Angle and Test had a fair match, but didn't last an excessive amount of time. Angle and Test traded back-and-forth, Test wearing the face mask to shield his broken nose, suffered at the hands of the 'Big Red Machine' Kane, last week on RAW is WAR. Test manhandled Angle in the match, throughout, as Angle got in a few shots, but nothing seemed to really budge the confident, young Olympian. Test dove off of the top rope and seemed to be setting up for a pumphandle slam, but Angle got out of it, nailing a German Suplex. Steve Blackman rushed out, and Blackman staring at both men, cracking Angle in the head!
- Test looked angry as he chased Steve Blackman up the rampway, Kurt Angle rolling out of the ring after Blackman's interference, Angle celebrating like he had pinned Test!
- We go back to the office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as Triple H mentions if Stephanie had spoken to Steve Blackman after leaving this room, commenting on the match as McMahon-Hemsley said that Kurt Angle is still undefeated, and Test is still a shell of what he was. Steph then got up, mentioning that she had to address the WWF Intercontinental Championship situation. Triple H went with her, and we'll find out what she means next!
- Commercial Break.
- We returned from the commercial break to find Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley on her way to the ring, as officials, Tim White, Mike Sparks and Jimmy Korderas walked out to the ring, White in possession of the WWF Intercontinental Championship. She reviewed us to a clip of the finish to the Chris Jericho and Chyna match from SmackDown! this past Thursday on UPN. It showed Jericho backdrop Chyna onto a steel chair as both competitors pinned each other. McMahon-Helmsley speaks about this being controversial, as she asks for a vote, the opinion from all three referees. Jimmy Korderas tells Steph that Chyna should be champion. Chyna was called down to the ring, accompanied by The Kat, and the two came out looking identical, as The Kat carried the WWF Womens Championship with her. The two got into the ring as Steph asked Mike Sparks on who the champion should be. Sparks says Chris Jericho, and Y2J struts out to a loud reaction, Stephanie telling everybody that despite opinions, she has made a decision. McMahon tells Chyna and Y2J that they will have to co-exist as WWF Co-Intercontinental Champions! Steph explains that both will defend the title, and when one of them lose a match for the belt, both will lose the title! Stephanie leaves with a sly look on her face, but the theme of Al Snow hit, Chris Jericho getting out of the ring!
- Match #3: Chyna with The Kat and Chris Jericho defeated Al Snow to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship The referee was Time White. Nothing too special here as Chris Jericho sat down with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. Al Snow got in Chyna's face, both competitors managing to battle in a decent competition. Chyna nailed her backspring elbow into Snow in the corner, but Al Snow fired back with a clothesline, then using his power to keep Chyna down, applying a sleeper hold on the larger Al Snow. Al taunted about becoming the new WWF Intercontinental Champion, but that wouldn't sit well with Chyna. Al Snow eventually stood over Chyna in a roll-up position, and behind the official's back, Y2J got up and slammed his fist into Snow! Chyna got Snow in the sunset flip for three!
- Chris Jericho darted up the rampway, as his unhappy WWF Co-Intercontinental Championship partner, Chyna followed up the rampway, hot persuit as WWF Womens Champion, The Kat followed her. Al Snow sat up in the ring and began speaking to Head.
- We return once again to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's office, as Triple H was getting prepared for his upcoming battle with Big Show for the WWF Championship. Prince Albert and Big Bossman were nearby, as Triple H noted that they beat Test last week, but not fairly. And because of this, he's making Bossman and Albert face The Acolytes, and Bradshaw an Faarooq will have one hand tied behind their backs; 'punishment' for Albert and Bossman's cheating against Test last week! Bossman ranted, telling Hunter that they'll take their punishment.
- A video package aired, reviewing actions leading up to this 'You're Fired' handicap match, starting last week when Triple H put The Rock in a tricky place of having a match with Mankind in a 'Pink Slip on a Pole' match, where the loser would end up unemployed. The Rock 'n' Sock Connection was unfortunately put to rest, as Rock celebrated his victory. We then went to a video replay of The Rock's comments for D-Generation X from earlier tonight, leading into Rock's battle for a job against the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac!
- Cutting to the backstage area, Michael Cole tried catching a word with The Rock, as he walked down a corridor, but Rock wouldn't have it! Rock was up next!
- Commercial Break
- Match #4: The Rock defeated The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac in a 'You're Fired' falls count anywhere handicap match The referee was Mike Chioda. A heated match here, in our first-hour main event. The Rock was really intense in this one, as he ran right down to the ring, meeting all three members of D-Generation X in the ring, attempting to pound all tree of them at the same time. Billy Gunn and Road Dogg and X-Pac, though, they were all great competitors, and managed to tear into The Rock, but they chose not to pin him! They just punished him until Rock managed to escape them, shoving the WWF Tag Team Champions away, dragging X-Pac into the backstage area behind the rampway, and the Outlaws followed! Moments later, we didn't cut to the back, but Rock and X-Pac traded blows on the rampway! We weren't sure where the Outlaws went, but the Rock Bottom on the rampway gave Rock the win!
- The Rock celebrated his victory with desperation, as X-Pac was left unconscious on the cold rampway, the crowd cheering loudly. Rock then grabbed a microphone, yelling his catchphrase, 'If you smell...What The Rock, is cookin!'.
- We returned to the backstage area as The Acolytes were suddenly shown trading blows with the New Age Outlaws! The two teams traded blows in the backstage corridor as many officials broke the two teams up! Bradshaw and Faarooq wouldn't back away from Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, as these two teams will compete for the WWF Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble!
- Commercial Break
- The WWF 'Slam of the Week' moment appeared, reviewing The Rock and Mankind's 'Pink Slip on a Pole' match from last week's RAW is WAR.
- A replay appeared, showing us The Rock celebrating his victory over X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws in a 'You're Fired' falls count anywhere handicap match.
- Match #5: Prince Albert and Big Bossman defeated The Acolytes by count-out Teddy Long was the referee. This wasn't even a match, as Prince Albert and Big Bossman were ordered by Triple H to destroy The Acolytes in a 'punishment' set by the DX leader. Bradshaw and Faarooq were supposed to have one arm tied behind their backs, but when after a few attempts at playing the Acolytes' theme to bring them out, there was no reaction from Acolytes themselves, and Bossman and Albert were declared a count-out win!
- Big Bossman and Prince Albert grinned to loud boos, as we suddenly cut to the backtage area to find the New Age Outlaws stomping away at the Acolytes in the parking lot! Billy Gunn and Road Dogg stand by, the WWF Tag Team Championships in hand as they tell the unconscious Bradshaw and Faarooq that they will never beat them for the titles.
- We go to the corridor as Big Show was walking down it, and he exchanged looks with the 'Big Red Machine' Kane on the way. Kane and Show stared at each other, Show walking away with the WWF Championship draped over his shoulder. Tori looked a little creeped out in the background and whispered in Kane's ear, making him grunt angrily.
- We cut to the office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as they were not extremely plesed with the doing of The Acolytes moments ago. He was calmed down however, as Stephanie talked about how D-Generation X had them under control, and that the New Age Outlaws would take the Acolytes down, and The Rock will be taken down as well. Steph promised her husband that he'd leave Miami as WWF Champion.
- Commercial Break
- Howard Finkel walked out to the ring as a drum roll was taking place. He announced the 'DX Production; Have a Bad Day'. A graphic appeared on the TitanTron, as it read 'DX Production', 'In association with Helmsley-McMahon Studios' and 'A Triple-H Film'. It said 'starring Mankind', before cutting to the title screen 'Have a Bad Day'. It showed Mideon acting as Mankind [and it really sounded like him!] and Triple H acting as 'Harry Sacks' at the 'Unemployment Line'. Sacks asks Mankind for his qualities, Mankind telling him that he can take big falls and get hit in the head repeatedly without feeling pain. Sacks gives Mankind advice, then commenting that Mankind sucked, stank and had nothing good to offer to the famous McMahon-Helmsley franchise. Sacks has Mankind on his knees begging, Sacks lastly threatening Mankind as Mankind begged for a job.
- Match #6: The Hardy Boyz with Terri Runnels defeated The Holly Cousins Teddy Long was the referee. Nothing too bad a match here, in fact it was pretty good, as Jeff and Matt Hardy walking down to the ring for battle with the Holly Cousins, Crash and Hardcore Holly. Jeff and Crash started off as Jeff easily managed to dominate in the match, Matt Hardy then getting into the ring and suiting well in taking down Hardcore and Crash before Matt was caught and beaten down by the two Holly Cousins from Alabama. Crash nailed the DDT, but Matt managed to kick out. Crash tagged in Hardcore, then got distracted by Terri as he stalked Terri! Meanwhile, Hardcore went for the Falcon Arrow but Matt nailed the Twist of Fate for the win!
- The Hardy Boyz celebrated their victory, but it went short-lived as Terri Runnels got in the ring with Jeff and Matt, until the Dudley Boyz hit the ring! D-Von and Bubba Ray double-teamed Matt as D-Von was ordered to get the tables, the table being set up, and then, Matt and Jeff were positioned atop of the table, and Bubba powerbombed Terri Runnels onto Jeff and Matt, and through the table! The Dudley Boyz stood tall to boos over a broken trio!
- Howard Finkel comes back out to the ring to introduce Part 2 of the epic film, 'Have a Bad Day'. We start this one from 'W.C. Fields Childrens Hospital', as Triple H acted as 'Hung Low', with Mideon acting as Mankind again. Hung Low threatens to call security on Mankind, as Hung asks Mankind if he knew Triple H, putting Hunter over as being an amazing guy. The two got into a comical argument, Hung Low acting in a stereotypical Jackie Chan-style accent as Hung Low karate-chopped Mankind and Mankind got out of the hospital.
- Commercial Break
- A video package aired, hyping up the main event for tonight, WWF Championship on the line between Triple H and Big Show, and this was set up last Monday on RAW, as both men competed for the title, only the recently-fired Mankind interfered, causing Triple H disqualification victory. Then, on SmackDown!, it was meant to be Big Show against X-Pac, but Hunter abused his power to add in the New Age Outlaws, and then himself! D-Generation X stood over a bloody and unconscious Big Show, and that all leads to the main event tonight!
- Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco are both shown talking in the same locker room as Big Show. Show tells both Stooges that he will be retaining the WWF Championship tonight. The Stooges tell Show that he has a lot on his hands, with D-Generation X lurking around. Show storms off.
- We go to the office of Triple H again, as he has his arms around Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, this time all ready to go for the bout with Big Show, the WWF Championship at stake.
- Part three of the epic film, 'Have a Bad Day' was introduced by Howard Finkel, and this time, Mankind (Mideon) was at a Book Signing for his book 'I've Been Fired', a book in which nobody attends to. The Publisher (Triple H) then came and complained about the signing being a waste of time, and that Mankind's book signing dragged away customers for four hours. Publisher told Mankind that 'I've Been Fired' didn't have the McMahon-Helmsley drive that 'Have a Nice Day' had. Publisher fires Mankind, as Mankind begins to whine, pulling out Mr Socko and mocking Socko. The Publisher then drove Mankind into the wall and asked him what he was doing.
- We go to the corridors, as Triple H and Big Show were both walking them, as their battle for the WWF Championship is up next!
- Commercial Break
- Match #7: Triple H defeated Big Show to win the WWF Championship Tim White was the referee. A great main event here, as this one was well-received and intense, both men competing in a display that was phenomenal; Triple H himself had announced that there would not be any interference from D-Generation X in this one, and Triple H started this match just trying to dig into Big Show with heavy lefts and rights, but Big Show easily overpowered him and attempted the Chokeslam, but Triple H broke out, both men continued to brawl to the floor, where Triple H delivered a DDT, but when he realized that Show could be counted out and he couldn't become WWF Champion by count-out, he broke the count, and the war continued. Show finally nailed the Chokeslam, but Kane's pyrotechnics went off! Kane came out to the arena to a loud reaction, as Show was distracted, Triple H delivering a low blow to Show whilst Tim White was focused on Kane! Triple H delivered a Pedigree on Show for the three!
- Triple H celebrated his victory to loud boos, the obnoxious new WWF Champion standing tall alone, though. Kane left as Big Show rolled around on the canvas in disbelief. Suddenly, though, Mankind darted into the ring and speared Triple H! He took down Triple H before security dragged Mankind up the rampway! Triple H, though new WWF Champion, still had Mankind on his back! RAW went off the air!
Quick Results Triple H def. Big Show; WWF Championship Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy def. Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly Big Bossman, Prince Albert def. Bradshaw, Faarooq; count-out The Rock def. X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg; You're Fired match Chyna def. Al Snow; WWF Intercontinental Championship Kurt Angle def. Test Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley def. Scotty 2 Hotty, Grandmaster Sexay

I love how powerful DX is. I wonder if Mankind will make a comeback or if he will stay off air. Triple H versus Big Show is good, but I hope you give Show a decent reign as champion. Obviously, Rock is going to defeat X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws, but that should still be a good contest. A decent opening contest that helps the Dudley Boyz keep their momentum. I didn’t care to much for the post match activity involving the Mean Street Posse. I like The Acolytes promising to get involved in the Rock’s match. I like Triple H making the Pink Slip match a no interference contest. I love Blackman getting Kurt Angle the disqualification victory. I hated the Co-Intercontinental Champions angle so I hope you book it better. Chyna defeating Snow is good, I guess. I love the unfair matches HHH is making and I wonder how badly the Acolytes will get beat. I wonder what happen to the Outlaws. Obviously, Rock was going to win, but you did it in an interesting way. I like The Acolytes sneak attacking the Outlaws during the match. I wonder what Triple H will do to them. Albert and Bossman winning by count out is okay, better than a beat down. I feel you are giving some talent stop much air time. I am sick of seeing the Outlaws brawl with the Acolytes and Triple H really has a lot of air time as well. I liked the “Have a Bad Day” segment. The Hardy Boyz winning their match is decent and they are better than the Holly Cousins. I love the Dudley Boyz beating down the Hardy Boyz after the match. I loved the ”Have a Bad Day” segments, all three were perfect. I am shocked that Triple H Defeated Big Show. I was shocked by Mankind’s interference and I wonder what will happen.
Honestly, this show was overall iffy. I felt some parts were great and others really brought the show down – but I guess that is a realistic take on a 2000 Raw. I felt the show was way too long and that some talents were on screen way too much. I think once you can fix up the format and the flow of the show, this will be a lot better.

This is definitely something I'm stoked for sir. Let's get to it.
RAW Wow, great opening promo that really establishes DX as the figurehead on RAW. HHH/Show shall be a good one and the Rock twist was a great touch. LOVE THE RECAP DESCRIPTION! Posse getting tossed down after a weak opening in my opinion to the decade here. Eh, not really a fan of any team here, but I guess Dudleys winning were smart. Redeemed it with a great segment with the Acolytes. Sounds like something that would go down here. Another solid McMahon/Hemsley power segment. Love the Test/Angle match and I wish this would have opened the show. Angle celebrating like he got the pinfall instead of a DQ win is priceless and great. Like the predictable idea of co-champs and good win from Chyna on Snow. Liked these segments a lot Dan. Another solid segment here, but I feel this is a bit overkill. Alas, this was WWF 2000 in a nutshell. 'Punishment' is great for Bossman/Albert. Sneaky by the Rock and I wonder what happened there. Good to see Rock still having his job and all. Trading blows to start off the second hour of Raw. That RR match should be explosive! They battle it out again and now in the parking lot. Cheap win from the two goons, but it is effective definitely. 'Have A Bad Day' is brilliant and probably one of the best segments written on here Dan. Normal Tag match here and good to see the Hardys do some work on the Holly cousins. Trio powerbombed through the table sounds pretty bad ass also. YES ANOTHER HAVE A BAD DAY SEGMENT! Hung Low, such a good name. Great segments there; this main event should be epic. Damn, new champion. I guess its alright; Show/Kane will feud and as will Mankind/Triple H. Great read, looking forward to more!

Thursday 6th January 2000 Orlando, Florida, USA - Orlando Arena - Welcome to this coverage of SmackDown!, taped on Tuesday 4th January 2000, and this is technically the start of a new chapter in the World Wrestling Federation, as Triple H is now the WWF Champion, and D-Generation X is leading the show. Let's go!
- The opening video sequence occurs, showing different clips of the old RAW is WAR set. This is followed by a video package recapping us to Triple H's battle with the Big Show over the WWF Championship, as Triple H struggled to win, but he finally was able to get the win, despite distractions from Kane. Triple H celebrated as WWF Champion, Mankind attacking him afterwards, drilling into him with lefts and rights, but security took him away.
- We go to the office of DX, as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was motivating the troops in D-Generation X, as she tells Road Dogg, X-Pac and Billy Gunn that it wasn't solely a success on Monday night, as Triple H walked out of Miami, Florida as WWF Champion. She notes complications about beating The Rock in a handicap match, also noting the New Age Outlaws' priority to destroy The Acolytes over assisting X-Pac in getting Rock fired. Stephanie says that DX is about perfection, McMahon-Helmsley telling them that she's going to handle Mankind, warranting an arrest if he trespasses tonight. Stephanie tells X-Pac that he's going to face Big Show tonight to redeem himself! X-Pac doesn't look happy, but Triple H calms him, telling X-Pac that he's every bit of good that he is. Stephanie then tells Billy Gunn that tonight, he'll be teaming with Road Dogg, Prince Albert and Big Bossman against The Acolytes and two members of their choice! DX seem unpleased as Billy asks how this is fair. Triple H shuts them up by saying that tonight, he's going to be entering himself into a match with the winner of a random lottery, featuring every WWF superstar in the company. Stephanie tells Hunter how proud she is, before the two hug and kiss. DX are disgusted.
- The opening SmackDown! video package airs, flashing colors of blue and World Wrestling Federation superstars, we then cut to the live arena, where pyrotechnics go off, and we are on UPN for SmackDown!, in Orlando, Florida! Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the first edition of SmackDown! in the new millenium, before we are interrupted by pyrotechnics!
- Match #1: X-Pac defeated Big Show by disqualification Mike Chioda was the referee. X-Pac didn't get a chance to set off his pyrotechnics, and X-Pac still seemed confident in this match, as Big Show was out for retribution, following his painful defeat to Triple H and the loss of the WWF Championship from Monday night on RAW is WAR. Show obliterated X-Pac in the opening moments, nailing many gorilla press slams and big boots, almost getting himself disqualified with a ruthless choke hold. Big Show picked X-Pac up for a Chokeslam, but X-Pac poked him in the eye! X-Pac tried to kick away at Show with left and right feet, but Show eventually caught X-Pac and grabbed him by the throat again, choking him out! Mike Chioda tried to get involved to break the choke, but Show punched him down!
- Big Show tossed X-Pac out of the ring as Big Show turned his attention to the official that just disqualified him, Mike Chioda! Show turned around and grabbed Chioda by the throat, delivering a thunderous Chokeslam, as X-Pac attempted to come from behind with a chair shot, that had no effect on the mountain back of the former WWF Champion! Show punched the chair into X-Pacs face, Show then picking X-Pac up for a Chokeslam, but five or six officials ran to the ring, Show going nuts! Sgt Slaughter led Tim White, Mike Sparks, Teddy Long and Jimmy Korderas out, trying to attend to Mike Chioda, but Show tossed Chioda at them! Show angrily roared in the ring.
- We go to the backstage area as Chris Jericho was talking to Chyna backstage in the hallway, The Kat stood between them as Y2J had the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist. The two complained about the situation, getting in one-another's face, and Michael Cole spoke about how they better get it together because they're facing The Holly Cousins, next!
- Commercial Break
- We return to SmackDown!, as we cut to outside of the Orlando Arena, seeing police officers surround the venue, Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler mentioning that if Mankind was to cross the borderline, then he would be arrested by the police officers.
- We go back to the squabbling WWF Co-Intercontinental Champions, as Chris Jericho, Chyna and The Kat were shown walking down a corridor, Y2J demanding Chyna stand on the apron while he does all the work.
- Match #2: Chris Jericho and Chyna with The Kat defeated The Holly Cousins Jimmy Korderas was the referee. The WWF Co-Intercontinental Champions came out seperately, as Chris Jericho and Chyna were still on negative terms. Both Y2J and Chyna got good pops in comparison to the Holly Cousins, though. Jericho won the war to start the match, then getting jumped by Hardcore Holly. The two traded blows, Y2J on the offense, and Hardcore found himself in trouble. Crash and Hardcore double-teamed Jericho as Chyna mocked her own partner from the apron, Jericho somehow managing to overcome the odds, though. Y2J tried tagging in Chyna, but Chyna pretended to be talking to The Kat! Pretty much in a handicap-state, Jericho cleared the ring of Hardcore and then when Crash attempted a DDT, Y2J reversed it and made Crash tap to the Walls of Jericho!
- Chris Jericho celebrated his victory, but Chyna stormed over to the announce table and took the WWF Intercontinental Championship belt, leaving her Co-Intercontinental Champion behind in anger, as The Kat and Chyna grinned from the top of the rampway! Hardcore Holly meanwhile slapped Crash at ringside.
- We go to Universal Studios, where Mideon acting as 'Mankind' once again was shown walking aound talking about how great it is to be here and how it cheers him up after being stuck on the unemployment line. He asks a kid if he wants an autograph, a security member telling Mankind to keep away from the kid. Mankind tells the security guard to 'have a bad day' before walking away.
- We cut to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in their office watching SmackDown!, mockingly asking why Mankind was in Universal Studios. Triple H mentions that he wishes that Mankind came to Orlando Arena so he could get arrested. There was suddenly a knock on the door as Tori came in, asking Stephanie if Kane could have a match tonight. Steph told Tori that she could, and Tori thanked her. Tori walked out as Triple H asked his wife why she did that. Stephanie just smiled.
- We go to the hallway area, as the Acolytes were shown walking down a hallway, they are scheduled to be facing Billy Gunn, Road Dogg of the New Age Outlaws, AND the team that they lost to 'via count-out' on RAW, Big Bossman and Prince Albert! But this was scheduled to be an eight-man tag team match, we don't know who Bradshaw and Faarooq are going to team with! The match is up next!
- Commercial Break
- A replay from Monday's RAW is WAR was shown, as The Acolytes were trading blows with the New Age Outlaws in the backstage area, but when it came around to The Acolytes' match against Big Bossman and Prince Albert, they were laid out by the WWF Tag Team Champions, and Bossman and Albert were given a count-out victory!
- Match #3: The Acolytes defeated Prince Albert and Big Bossman & The New Age Outlaws Mike Sparks was the referee. Not a bad match here, as The Acolytes had decided to work alone in this what was an eight-man tag team battle. Big Bossman and Prince Albert were caught off-guard with heavy blows from Bradshaw and Faarooq, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg keeping out of the ring and staying on the apron! Prince Albert found himself getting a double-backdrop from Bradshaw and Faarooq, as Bossman went for the Bossman Slam, Bradshaw delivering the Clothesline From Hell for the win!
- The Acolytes celebrated their victory and angril demanded that the New Age Outlaws got in the ring with them now! Billy Gunn and Road Dogg watched as Bradshaw and Faarooq watched over an unconscious pair of Big Bossman and Prince Albert, before taking their WWF Tag Team Championships and cowering up the rampway!
- We go to the backstage office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as the two were talking as the 'Big Red Machine' Kane stood over them, angrily. Kane demanded to know who his opponent would be, Triple H telling Kane that he was getting Test! Stephanie laughed as Kane stormed away.
- Commercial Break
- We go to another exterior shot of the Orlando Arena, as the police officers were still outside awaiting the arrival of Mankind, in which they would arrest him!
- We cut to the office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley again, as they were discussing Kane against Test, and they noted that if Big Show didn't get involved, and Stephanie had had Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco tell Big Show about this, during Kane against Test, then he'd be suspended without pay.
- Match #4: Kane with Tori defeated Test by disqualification Teddy Long was the referee. Not too good of a match here, as Test wore his face mask and battled the man that kicked his ass ten days ago on RAW is WAR. Kane and Test met on the rampway, and telling about how Kane do anything for Tori, and he wanted to make Test sorry for crossing her the prvious Monday on RAW. Test managed to get more offense in here, but and Test's face mask was ripped off in the early goings. Test managed to nail Kane with the pumphandle slam, but Tori distracted the official. The crowd were confused, as Test suddenly turned his attention to her! Test stared her down outside the ring as the crowd actually popped, but Kane grabbed Test! X-Pac suddenly came to ringside, for reasons unknown, and Tori was looking at him behind Kane! Test shoved X-Pac away before turning around to get Chokeslammed on the floor! Kane dragged Test into the ring, but Big Show jumped him from behind!
- Kane and Big Show traded blows, as a result of Kane's involvement in Show losing the WWF Championship to Triple H on Monday at RAW! Show and Kane traded blows up the rampway to the backstage area as Tori slowly followed!
- We see The Rock warming up in the backstage area, but it was not known who he was facing; Jerry "King" Lawler and Michael Cole made out that it could be Triple H!
- Commercial Break
- We go to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's office, as Steph asked who The Rock was facing. Triple H grinned and said that he'd be facing the until-now undefeated Kurt Angle! Stephanie didn't really know how to react.
- We cut to Mankind (Mideon) back at Universal Studios as Mankind was on a boat ride, ranting about his career, referring to The Undertaker and the cage leap. He asked if the kid in front of him was listening to him. A model shark then came out of the water, scaring the crap out of Mankind, as Mankind asked what that was to everybody, going nuts.
- An advertisement aired with Michael Cole's voice as he promoted WWF New York's opening as a restaurant in Times Square, in New York City, New York.
- The WWF's Slam of the Week was shown as Triple H told Steve Blackman this past Monday on RAW is WAR, that if he hit Kane with the singapore cane, then he'd be fired. Then, during Kurt Angle's match with Kane, it was Steve Blackman who came out and randomly struck Angle with the singapore cane, keeping Angle's undefeated streak intact.
- The Rock made his way out to the ring to loud cheers, as Rock got on the top rope and grabbed a microphone, mentioning that Triple H sent all of D-Generation X at him on RAW is WAR, Rock managing to keep his job and stay on top. Rock commented that at the Royal Rumble, he would be going to WrestleMania 2000 after throwing twenty-nine pieces of crap over the top rope. Rock was then interrupted by the theme of Kurt Angle, Angle bragged about how Rock has intensity, but he does not have integrity or intellegence. Angle tells Rock that he's keeping his undefeated streak intact, whether Rock likes it or not. Angle then darted to the ring.
- Match #5: Kurt Angle defeated The Rock by count-out Tim White was the official. A great match here, as these two were given a considerable amount of time, The Rock pounding away at Kurt Angle after the Olympian had pumped up The Rock using his speech skills. Rock went for the Rock Bottom early, but Angle managed to knee him in the ribs and nail a neckbreaker, then stomping away at Rock and going to work on the ankle. Angle then was attacked by Rock, causing Angle to attempt an escape up the rampway! Rock caught him, though, and the two traded blows, fighting for a suplex on the metal rampway! The two both attempted it, but when Rock nailed the Rock Bottom, he was distracted by Steve Blackman on the top of the ramp! Rock clotheslined Blackman, before Kurt Angle came from behind with the Olympic Slam! Angle rolled back into the ring breathlessly, as Tim White counted him out!
- Kurt Angle celebrated his victory like crazy, as he rolled out of the ring, staring down Steve Blackman as The Rock was laid out on the rampway, Angle taunting Rock from a distance! Angle then jumped the barricade as Rock began to move, wanting more of Angle!
- We cut to the backstage office of Triple H once again, as he complained about Kurt Angle's victory. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley just grinned. The lottery bowl is shown, and up next, a name would be picked, and the winner will face the WWF Champion, Triple H tonight!
- Commercial Break
- Match #6: Jeff Hardy, Edge and Christian with Terri Runnels and Matt Hardy defeated The Dudley Boyz and Al Snow Jimmy Korderas was the referee. A great match here, as thisshowcased how pure that the tag team division was in the World Wrestling Federation. Matt Hardy suffered a minor hand injury on Monday night during RAW is WAR, as the Dudley Boyz destroyed the Hardy Boyz, putting the Hardys and Terri Runnels through a table. The Dudleys were in this to eliminate the Hardys, by orders of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as Al Snow has too. Jeff was isolated by the three bad guys, Edge soon made his prescense known, though, as he went in there and the exciting duo of Edge and Christian took out the Dudleys as Jeff nailed a 360-degree suicide dive out to the floor on Al! Edge speared D-Von and Christian nailed a reverse DDT on Bubba, and a Downward Spiral on D-Von gave Edge, Christian and Jeff the win!
- The Dudley Boyz were angry, as Edge and Christian left the ring, Terri Runnels and Matt Hardy celebrating with Jeff Hardy and the blonde-haired combination. Al Snow looked insane on the outside, as he nailed Matt in the skull with Head! D-Von and Bubba gave Edge a 3D, and took Christian down and out, and Terri was scared! D-Von grabbed a table as Bubba then picked up Jeff Hardy and drove him through the table with a powerbomb! Al left as the Dudleys celebrated on the rampway; Jeff, Matt, Christian and Edge all down and out!
- We return to Universal Studios as Mankind (Mideon) was talking about going on Woody Woodpecker's ride to cheer him up, because it always used to cheer the kids up. He was then confronted by a staff member, as he told Mankind that the park was closed and he now had to leave. Mankind tried persuading him with a coin, before the employee called security. Mankind then asked if Woody Woodpecker was behind him, allowing Mankind to run away!
- We go back to the exterior of the Orlando Arena, and Mankind was still yet to arrive, as police officers were still hanging around.
- Match #7: Val Venis and D-Lo Brown defeated The Mean Street Posse with British Bulldog Teddy Long was the official. This was a fair match here, as rivals from Armageddon were forced to team up to take on the Mean Street Posse. The WWF European Champion, Val Venis and D-Lo Brown managed to co-exist, however, and they took on Rodney, Pete Gas and Joey Abs in this handicap bout. Rodney was easily wiped out from the situation, as D-Lo slammed him with the Sky High! Joey Abs and Pete Gas managed to be good opponents for the two men though, but Val Venis took Abs out of the situation with a clothesline. Gas was double-teamed by Venis and Brown as Brown nailed the Sky High, Val going up top and nailing the Money Shot for the win!
- Val Venis celebrated his victory as D-Lo Brown handed him the WWF European Championship slowly...in the face! D-Lo laid Venis out with the belt, dropping it on his chest before leaving. British Bulldog and the Mean Street Posse meanwhile had already left.
- We go to the lottery bowl again, and it will be revealed for real this time...next!
- Commercial Break
- We go to Mankind (Mideon) outside in Universal Studios as he stood outside the Back to the Future ride, telling himself that he'd go back to December 1998 when he won the WWF Championship, then changing his mind to go back to March 1982 when he got to have sex with an old handicapped woman.
- The security were shown again, as they were still waiting for Mankind outside the Orlando Arena. More exterior shots of the Orlando Arena were shown, as they promoted the Royal Rumble being live on pay-per-view on Sunday 27th January 2000!
- We go to the massive room where the lottery was taking place for the upcoming match against Triple H, for the WWF Championship tonight. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley stood at the front of the room, packed with the entire World Wrestling Federation roster, as she bragged about Triple H, bragging about this 'generous' deal. Triple H got the grand entrance, bragging about himself before pulling out a little ball. It read Andre the Giant, as Triple H told them take it seriously, then saying he'd kick Andre's ass if he was here. Next, another ball said The Fabulous Moolah. Moolah simply laughed as Triple H told Moolah that it'd be one for the ages literally, but they're calling another one. Howard Finkel was allowed to do it, but he simply knocked over the lottery bowl! After bad luck, Rikishi Phatu's voice was blurted out! Rikishi stood up as they chanted.
- We go back to Universal Sudios, Mankind (Mideon) was shown leaving, before he was met by the REAL Mankind! Mankind stared trading blows with the faker, as Mick Foley slammed the faker in a recycling bin! Mick Foley left the fake Mankind unconscious outside of the Back to the Future ride!
- Commercial Break
- A replay aired, reminding us of Mick Foley; the real Mankind showing up and beating the hell out of the fake Mankind (Mideon) at Universal Studios! Another replay aired afterwards, telling us that Triple H would face Rikishi Phatu tonight for the WWF Championship!
- Match #8: Triple H with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley defeated Rikishi Phatu to retain the WWF Championship Tim White was the referee. A great main event here, as Rikishi Phatu seemed to be extremely credible against the new WWF Champion! Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay of Too Cool almost came out with Rikishi Phatu, but Phatu decided to send them back, as Triple H came out with Stephanie, McMahon-Helmsley joining commentary. Rikishi dominated Triple H, tossing him around and landing a legdrop over Triple H on the outside floor! Triple H regained momentum as Rikishi went sailing into the ring steps, the brawl out at ringside. Rikishi finally went for the Banzai Drop, and he nailed it, but Triple H got the rope break! The crowd went nuts in boos as Rikishi decided plan B, for the Rikishi Driver instead, and he when tried it, Triple H slipped out of it and nailed the Pedigree!
- Triple H celebrated his win with desperation, as the crowd booed, Triple H was handed the WWF Championship by his wife, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, the two making out as SmackDown! went off the air!
Quick Results Triple H def. Rikishi Phatu to retain the WWF title D-Lo Brown, Val Venis def. Rodney, Joey Abs, Pete Gas Edge, Christian, Jeff Hardy def. D-Von Dudley, Bubba Ray Dudley, Al Snow Kurt Angle def. The Rock; count-out Kane def. Test Bradshaw, Faarooq def. Big Bossman, Prince Albert, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg Chris Jericho and Chyna def. Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly X-Pac def. Big Show; DQ

I still feel your format is way too long. Stephanie has booked some interested matches involving DX tonight and I wonder if they are going to be good. I am really excited to see if Mankind will appear again tonight as that is the most exciting angle you have right now. I love how Big Show has seemed to snap and getting himself disqualified by not releasing a choke was good. I love Show going crazy and tossing Mike Chioda into a pile of referees and agents. Chris Jericho and Chyna going over Crash and Bob Holly was the right call; however, I am not truly interested in Chyna and Chris Jericho. I love the mock Mankind segments, but I hope you don’t overdue them. I wonder what Stephanie has in mind for Tori and Kane. I actually really like The Acolytes going into battle by themselves as it makes them look extremely dominant. I like Big Show attacking Kane as he seeks revenge for his lose last week to Triple H. I love Kurt Angle getting the upper hand on the Rock because of Blackman interference and was able to keep his undefeated streak. Solid six man tag and I love how dominant you have made the Dudley Boyz! I am not a fan of the matchup between Val Venis & D-Lo Brown and The Mean Street Posse and I feel it was way to high on the card. The only aspect I liked was D-Lo leveling Venis after the match. I found the segment involving Triple H finding out his opponent a little strange. I was pleased to see Mankind attack the fake Mankind as it can finally put a stop to the segments. Triple H retaining over Rikishi is good to me as I am not a fan of the big man at all. Overall, a good show and you capture the year very well; however, I don’t feel this diary is as good as some of your past diaries.

Saturday 8th January 2000 Miami, Florida, USA - American Airlines Arena - Welcome to another edition of Jakked and Metal, and this was taped on Monday 3rd January 2000, before RAW is WAR from the Americane Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Before Jakked was taped though, the following matches from Ohio Valley Wrestling took place: Tom Howard defeated Anthony Adonis; Papi Chulo defeated Steve Bradley; Billy Fives pinned Bruno Sassi.
- The opening WWF Attitude signature aired, showing numerous shots of the old RAW is WAR stage before cutting to the opening video package of Jakked/Metal. We cut to the live arena following this, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole welcomed us to the program, and hyped Edge and Christian competing in the main event against Viscera and Mideon, in what should be solid.
- Match #1: D-Lo Brown defeated Cliff Sheets Mike Sparks was the referee. Nothing too special to get us kicked off on WWF Jakked tonight, as it was a top contender to the WWF European Championship, D-Lo Brown taking on enhancement talent, Cliff Sheets. Sheets was overpowered numerous times by D-Lo as Brown seemed confident. He ended up finishing Cliff Sheets off in no time with the Lo-Down frog splash.
- D-Lo Brown celebrated his victory, then bragging about how he was going to take back his WWF European Championship.
- *A replay of The Rock and DX's handicap 'You're Fired' match from RAW is WAR from shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Kurt Angle's match with Test from RAW was shown*
- Match #2.1: Barbara Bush and Jacqueline defeated Ivory and Luna Vachon Teddy Long was the official. This match was exclusive to the United States airing of WWF Jakked. Barbara Bush and Jacqueline managed to co-operate as a tag team, but Barbara Bush's lack of experience led to her downfall, as Ivory and Luna Vachon managed to lay into her. Jacqueline soon got the tag, and it was over as Jacqueline nailed a tornado DDT on Ivory.
- Jacqueline celebrated the victory, then helping Barbara Bush to her feet.
- *A replay of Chyna and Al Snow's battle for the WWF Intercontinental Championship from RAW was shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Triple H and Mideon's 'Mankind: Have a Bad Day' from RAW vignettes were shown*
- Match #2.2: Mark Henry with Mae Young defeated Gillberg Tim White was the referee. Poor Gillberg. He never stood a chance. As WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, Duane Gill tried to stand up to the tough and buff Mark Henry, but it just did not work out well for Gill as he tried to spear 'Sexual Chocolate' just to bounce right off. Mark also had Mae Young at ringside with him, and a body slam and a big splash on Gillberg ended it.
- Mark Henry let Mae Young get in the ring, as the two disgustingly made out.
- *A replay of Big Bossman and Prince Albert's 'match' with The Acolytes as well as the brawl between The Acolytes and The New Age Outlaws from RAW were shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Triple H and Big Show's fight for the WWF Championship from RAW was shown*
- Match #3: Edge and Christian defeated Viscera and Gangrel Jimmy Korderas was the official. A huge mismatch from visual standpoint, but this match was a good one featuring four former members of the Ministry of Darkness, and three of them were former members of The Brood. Edge and Christian fought well and managed to keep Viscera from being in the ring too much, focusing on their former leader, Gangrel. Edge eventually got taken out by a spinning heel kick from Viscera, which was impressive, but Christian nailed the Unprettier on Gangrel for the win!
- Edge and Christian celebrated their victory as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole hyped RAW is WAR up for Monday, and Jakked/Metal came to a close.
Quick Results Edge and Christian def. Viscera and Gangrel Mark Henry def. Gillberg BB and Jacqueline def. Ivory and Luna Vachon D-Lo Brown def. Cliff Sheets

-- This Monday's edition of RAW is WAR, held from Miami, Florida and shown live to an audience of 9,272 in the American Airlines Arena on January 3rd 2000 got a 6.4 Nielson rating for its' two-hour programming on USA Network. The peak quarter-hours were during The Rock and D-Generation X's handicap 'You're Fired' match and the Triple H and Big Show battle. Behind them narrowly was the opening promo with DX. RAW jumped a 0.6 from the December 27th 1999 edition's 5.8 rating, and crushed World Championship Wrestling's Monday Nitro, as Nitro picked up an absymal 3.3 rating, headlined by David Flair and Crowbar taking on Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner for the WCW World Tag Team Championships.
-- Shawn Michaels' wife, Rebecca gave birth to a boy called Cameron Hickenbottom on January 6th. This could mean an even lengthier wait for the 'Heartbreak Kid's rumored return to the ring in which he was talking about last year.
-- The World Wrestling Federation also managed to dominate the Thursday Night Wars as well as the Monday Night Wars; WWF SmackDown!, held in front of a sold-out audience of 12,652 in the Orlando Arena in Florida, taped on Tuesday 4th January 2000 and aired on Thursday 6th January 2000 on UPN gathered a 5.8 rating. It hasn't budged from the December 30th 1999 edition, but still crushed World Championship Wrestling's Thunder, as Thunder drew a 2.5, headlined by Terry Funk against Bret Hart in a non-title hardcore match.
-- Royal Rumble isn't expected to have a massive card like the past few pay-per-views; expect three or four more matches to be made for the event in the upcoming weeks. WWF seem to be setting up for a match between Triple H and Mankind for the WWF Championship.
-- Big Show is expected to feud The Undertaker if 'Taker is in fit shape, going into WrestleMania 2000.
-- Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle are both targeted to being main eventers by the end of the year. These two, plus a lot of other young talent have been considered the future of the business.
-- It is currently unknown when Vince McMahon will return to television, but until he does return, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley will be running the programs.
-- Many WWF superstars are upset wtih the way that Triple H has risen above and joined Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley; and the same goes for the D-Generation X crew. Many are upset in case Triple H, the New Age Outlaws, X-Pac and Stephanie become manipulators, much like the Clique were in the locker room back in 1996.
-- There will be reportedly more emphesis on the WWF Hardcore and WWF Womens Championship scenes in the upcoming months.
-- The World Wrestling Federation have hired an ECW worker, though it is unknown who it is in Extreme Championship Wrestling that has been signed.

Nice opening segment on SmackDown. I'm liking the tension in DX, and I've got a feeling that they may not be a permanent fixture for too much longer. Show being a monster is awesome, and I'm loving that nobody could stop him. Hopefully he gets a rematch for the title down the line. I always enjoyed the Jericho/ Chyna feud, so it'll be interesting seeing where you take them. I like the Acolytes going it alone, it fits in with their gimmicks, and I'm really hoping they get the tag titles soon. The Kane/ Test match just ended up being a complete mess of interference, which did happen at times in 2000, so I can't fault your booking there. Nice win for Angle, and his feud with Blackman could be solid. You've got the wrong result for the six man tag, at least according to your description. Good to see the Dudleys being dominant, and this match just shows how awesome the tag division was in 2000 compared to now. Decent tag match, and D-Lo laying Val out after the match was a nice way to continue their feud. Nice to see Mankind take out Mideon, but I was expecting him to make an actual appearance at SmackDown. Good main event, nice to see Triple H get the win. A solid show overall man, looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Smackdown!
- Don't like Triple H beating Show. Probably should've saved that for a PPV. - Sounds like some good matches for tonight. - Average match with Show and Pac. CDoesn't sound too exciting. Builds Show as an angry giant though. - Chris Jericho and Chyna as joint champions was fun, I want to see how ou book this. - Holly Cousins being beat by Jericho and Chyna was expected. - Like the "have a bad day" bit at the end of the segment, and makes Mideon seem Heelish. Otherwise I don't see what it achieved. - Kane is a guy, so it should say he could. Not she. Wonder who Kane's opponent is. - Would have preffered to see the Acolytes work with someone, but still, a victory's a victory, and it builds there feud with the NAO well. - Kane v Test should be good. - Good that Big Show got involved. Builds his and Kane's feud. - Glad Angle beats Rock, And keeps his undefeated streak intact. Wonder who can beat him. - Nice Tag Match, Aftermath was better though. - The segments really haven't done anything, at least not for me anyway. - Tag match builds Venis v D'lo. - Well, I guess at last there's a point to the pretty strange segments. - Good main event between Kishi and Triple H. Glad Kishi was credible.
Good show, I just fail to see the point of the MidKind segments. They were pretty dumb.
Jakked
- Good to see D'lo Gaining some momentum beating a jobber. - Womens match is alright. Average as usual though. - Squash of Gillberg was funny. - Edge and Christian beating Viscera and Gangrel is good. Builds them as future contenders.
Solid Jakked.

Smackdown!Interesting DX promo to kick off the show. Happy to see Hunter being a fighting champion; very uncharacteristic of DX in this promo. Opener establishes how angry Show is definitely and a DQ win for Pac only helps him. Big Show destroying everyone in site is definitely realistic as he would be pretty ing pissed off. Police waiting for Mankind is hilarious. Solid tag win for the co champs and upset to see Chyna to walk out with the belt, but whatever. Holly slapping his cousin is pretty brutal also. This Mideon as Mankind stuff is absolute gold Dan. Wow, pretty impressive by the Acolytes to take on 4 guys without help. Realistic, I guess, but smart also. Kane/Test should be a battle and a half. Pretty confusing match between Kane & Test. Don't know why X Pac was out there, but I know you'll explain. Show should be suspended now. Angle/Rock would obviously be an amazing match and I'm surprised it was on free TV. Countout Win keeps the undefeated streak in tact! Hm, you said Edge/Christian/Hardy won their match, yet it says they lost. Maybe wanna fix that! Dudleyz and Snow clean house afterword. Filler tag match, but it gets the job done. Glad to see Kishi get the chance at the Game and Mankind getting rid of the faker also. Knew Kishi wasn't going to win, but good main event for Smackdown!

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET HeAT Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Sunday 9th January 2000 Orlando, Florida, USA; Orlando Arena - Alright, an action-packed week in the World Wrestling Federation, in the first week of the new millenium; and it's not over yet. It's time for Sunday Night HeAT, baby!
- The opening WWF Attitude signature aired, showing numerous shots of the old RAW is WAR stage before cutting to the opening video package of Sunday Night HeAT. We cut to the live arena following this, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole welcomed us to the program, and hyped up Mark Henry and Too Cool, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay taking on the British Bulldog and Kai En Tai!
- The theme of The Godfather played into the arena as Stevie Richards was already in the ring, Godfather coming out accompanied by his hos, as Godfather had a microphone in hand, and he invited Stevie Richards to show his hos, and he'd let him become the real Godfather for a night! The crowd popped a little as Stevie laughed and accepted it, Godfather coming down to he ring, then laying him out with a right hand, starting up the match!
- Match #1: The Godfather with Hos defeated Stevie Richards Teddy Long was the referee. Not a bad match to get the show started off, with The Godfather taking on Stevie Richards, who was wearing Godfather-like clothes, and that did not go over well with the real Godfather. Richards didn't seem too happy, as Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly told us about Godfather's recent infatuation with 'the network' about being a pimp, and being all powerful. Godfather didn't take too long to finish off Stevie, as Stevie attempted the Ho Train, but Godfather bounced into him, nailed the Ho Train, and then finished Richards off with the Pimp Drop.
- The Godfather celebrated his victory, as he danced with his hos, the crowd cheering as a man in black suddenly appeared at ringside, and the man in black grabbed a ho that was stood on the ring steps! Godfather looked upset, as the man in the ski-mask put the ho over his shoulder and carried her to the back!
- *A replay of the four-on-two tag team match with The Acolytes, Prince Albert, Big Bossman and the New Age Outlaws from SmackDown! was shown*
- Commercial Break
- We cut to the backstage area as Triple H, the WWF Champion was sitting on a sofa with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in his arms, as suddenly, the man in black rushed into the room, Triple H getting up and laughing, the two hugging! The black man took off his ski-mask to reveal Mideon of all people! Mideon laughed as the two talked about screwing The Godfather and taking him off of WWF television with his obscene gimmick, and on SmackDown! next week, he has that opportunity, because it will be a 'You're Fired' match between Mideon and The Godfather! Mideon laughed before leaving.
- *A replay of Kurt Angle against The Rock from SmackDown! was shown*
- Match #2: Viscera defeated Buck Quartermaine Tim White was the official. Not really a competitive match here, Buck Quartermaine isn't a credible part of the roster, in fact he is down in Ohio Valley Wrestling in developmental, training to get onto the active roster. Viscera looked mean, and he sure was to Buck Quartermaine in this match. Quartermaine tried punching into Viscera, but the five-hundred pounder took his arm and belly-to-back suplexed him! Amazing for Viscera, he followed up in the match with a spinning heel kick. Viscera finished the match off with a big splash for the win.
- Viscera celebrated his victory to boos, as the announcers promoted Viscera as being a bear, and intimidating to possibly some day become a contender to the WWF Championship!
- The WWF Slam of the Week video aired, and this time, it focused on Kurt Angle and Steve Blackman's bizarre relationship, with Blackman aiding Kurt Angle in numerous victories, such as being instructed by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley not to hit Kane with the kendo stick on RAW is WAR; Blackman then went ahead in nailing Angle with the kendo stick in Angle's match, giving Angle the disqualification win. And on SmackDown!, Kurt Angle defeated The Rock by count out after Blackman tried to attack Rock, distracting Rock from getting back into the ring.
- *A replay of Big Show and X-Pac from SmackDown! was shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of the skits with Mankind (Mideon) at Universal Studios, from SmackDown! was shown*
- *A replay of Triple H and Rikishi Phatu's battle for the WWF Championship from SmackDown! was shown*
- Match #3: Ivory defeated Barbara Bush by disqualification Jimmy Korderas was the official. This was not a good match here for BB, as Barbara Bush was trained to be a nurse, not a wrestler. Ivory and BB traded blows before Ivory brutally quit playing with BB and just planted her with a DDT. Ivory continued the assault as she choked BB with the ropes, and seemed to set up for a neckbreaker, but Jacqueline ran out! Jacqueline ran to BB's aid as Ivory and Jacqueline traded blows to a disqualification!
- Ivory and Jacqueline continued to fight each other before Jacqueline karate-kicked Ivory in the ribs and dropkicked her out of the ring! Ivory was left distraught in anger on the rampway, as Jacqueline attended to the downed Barbara Bush.
- A graphic appeared, hyping up tomorrow night's edition of RAW is WAR, live from the Kiel Center in St Louis, Missouri.
- Commercial Break
- An advertisement for the WWF Royal Rumble aired, and that will be live on pay-per-view on Sunday 27th January 2000!
- Match #4: Mark Henry and Too Cool with Mae Young defeated British Bulldog and Kai En Tai Mike Sparks was the official. This wasn't a bad main event at all, as the two powerhouses, British Bulldog and Mark Henry matched it up with unallied partners, as Too Cool were usually accompanied by Rikishi Phatu, and British Bulldog usually managed by the Mean Street Posse, were teamed with the two Japanese acrobats, TAKA Michinoku and Sho Funaki, Kai En Tai. Kai En Tai and Too Cool mixed well, as Mark Henry often found himself in trouble when competing with the strong British Bulldog. Bulldog and Kai En Tai beat down on Scotty 2 Hotty for a lot in the match before they got back in there, Grandmaster Sexay getting the tag. Bulldog was attacked by both of Too Cool, as 'Sexual Chocolate' went it alone with Kai En Tai! Mae Young routed her man on at ringside, as Mark eventually bodyslammed TAKA on top of Sho and then splashed on both of them for the three!
- Mark Henry celebrated his victory as did Too Cool, the three dancing as 'Sexual Chocolate' was joined by his 'significent other', Mae Young, the two slow dancing and making out disgustingly to Too Cool's raving in the ring! The crowd cheered as British Bulldog looked angry at Kai En Tai at ringside, shoving both TAKA Michinoku and Sho Funaki away!
- The entire week in the World Wrestling Federation was cut into a music video of significent moments from RAW and SmackDown!, to the song 'Sugar' by System of a Down. Sunday Night HeAT went off the air.
Quick Results Mark Henry, Scotty 2 Hotty, Grandmaster Sexay def. British Bulldog, Sho Funaki, TAKA Michinoku Ivory def. BB; DQ Viscera def. Buck Quartermaine The Godfather def. Stevie Richards

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET RAW Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Monday 10th January 2000 St Louis, Missouri, USA; Kiel Arena - Wow, two weeks away from the Royal Rumble and we have only got two matches confirmed, let's home some get confirmed tonight...It's RAW from one of the most historic places in the United States for professional wrestling; St Louis, Missouri!
- The opening video sequence occurs, showing different clips of the old RAW is WAR set. We skip right into the RAW opening video package, set to 'Thorn In Your Eye' by Such a Surge. We're live from Miami, Florida for this edition of RAW is WAR! Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the second edition of RAW is WAR in the millenium, referring to Mankind's firing, and the battle for power going on with DX and The Rock! But suddenly, WWF superstars began to walk down the rampway, and the crowd seemed confused, as did the announcers!
- Barbara Bush, WWF European Champion, Val Venis, The Headbangers, Kai En Tai, Test, The Acolytes, Terri Runnels, Jacqueline, The Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian, D-Lo Brown, The Godfather [and two hos], Too Cool, Mark Henry, Mae Young, Fabulous Moolah, Rikishi Phatu, Kane and Tori all made their ways to the ring, as 'Thorn In Your Eye' continued to play, the crowd making atmosphere for every WWF fan favorite that came down the rampway, eventually cheering as the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Chyna and the WWF Womens Champion, The Kat slowly made their way to the ring last, as the audience were still baffled as to why they were even coming out to the ring! They all stood around ringside as 'If You Smell!' hit the arena, everybody in the Kiel Arena jumping to their feet, as the 'Great One' made his way down the rampway rapidly, the crowd loving The Rock, as he came down to the ring, a microphone in hand. Rock got into the ring amongst the 'Rocky' chants as The Rock began to talk about how power had taken over in the World Wrestling Federation, the power of a stuck up broad and an arrogant blonde with his head up the stuck up broad's ass! Rock refers to Triple H's marriage to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as he basically tells us that Triple H is a golddigger. He asks the audience why they all wonder why Rock is in the ring with all of the WWF fan favourites at ringside tonight. Rock notes that they've all asked Rock to be their spokesman and oppose the power of D-Generation X!
The crowd popped, as suddenly, 'My Time' hit the arena to loud boos, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley coming out, accompanied by the WWF Tag Team Champions, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg of the New Age Outlaws, as well as X-Pac; basically the WWF superstars in the ringside area were ready for war against D-Generation X's power! Steph tells them that they aren't sure why they're all out here, but they're confident they can work it out. Rock tells Stephanie to know her role and shut her mouth, telling the McMahon-Helmsleys that this is about Mick Foley! Rock tells them that Foley is out in the parking lot and they demand they meet their demands and re-hire Foley, and if not, every WWF superstar will leave! Rock demands Steph and Triple H to reinstate Foley, and Triple H accepts that, informing us that Foley is rehired! Triple H then tells them that it is not because of the superstars in the ring, led by The Rock. And in fact, he was going to reinstate him today anyway! Triple H tells Rock that tonight, he better gather three friends and meet all of D-Generation X in the ring, excluding Mick Foley, and if Rock's team win, Foley is rehired! The crowd popped, as Rock tells them it's a deal, Triple H telling Rock that if Foley shows himself before the ending bell of the eight-man tag team match with Rock's team standing tall, he will NOT be rehired! Triple H grins, leaving with Stephanie and DX!
- Commercial Break
- Match #1: Mark Henry, Too Cool and Rikishi Phatu with Mae Young defeated British Bulldog and The Mean Street Posse Jimmy Korderas was the referee. Not as much as a cluster as you'd think. This match spanned from the six-man tag team main event to last night's Sunday Night HeAT, as Mark Henry teamed with Too Cool to take on British Bulldog and Kai En Tai, but Kai En Tai failed Bulldog. Tonight, Rikishi Phatu was in there, as the Posse were with Bulldog, and Mark Henry dominated the three members of the Posse, bodyslamming Rodney over the top and Pete Gas got a big powerslam, the only credible members were Bulldog and Joey Abs, and they worked over Grandmaster Sexay before Rikishi Phatu got the tag, Too Cool easily cleaning the ring of Rodney and Gas; Mark Henry splashed Abs, and Bulldog tried the Running Powerslam, but Phatu slipped out midway [amazing strength from Bulldog] and kicked Bulldog in the face for the three!
- Rikishi Phatu began to dance following his victory over the Mean Street Posse, as Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay of Too Cool got in the ring to dance and rave with Phatu! The lights went dark and red flashed, Mark Henry and Mae Young soon getting their groove on as well! Mae Young then made out with 'Sexual Chocolate', at ringside, British Bulldog and the Mean Street Posse were disgusted!
- We go to the parking lot, as Mick Foley was wearing the Mankind mask, and he had the imposter Mankind from this past week's RAW and SmackDown!, Mideon strapped to a chair in classic interrogating fashion! Mankind was yelling at Mideon, asking him if he truly meant what he said about his family on Thursday.
- Commercial Break.
- Kurt Angle's theme hit the arena as the crowd booed, the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle coming out to the arena with Steve Blackman, as the 'Lethal Weapon' watched the audience. Angle ran his mouth on the microphone, gaining intense boos from St Louis, as they didn't quite appreciate Angle's mockery of St Louis!
- Match #2: Kurt Angle with Steve Blackman defeated Matt Hardy with Terri Runnels and Jeff Hardy Tim White was the referee. The undefeated Olympian had to live up to expectations against one half of the more popular and exciting stars in the World Wrestling Federation, Matt Hardy. Matt gave Angle a run for his money, as he refused to let the Olympic Gold Medalist get in a single move, Steve Blackman standing by at ringside, awaiting in case Jeff got himself involved in this match, or even Terri Runnels. Matt dived out of the ring with a phenomenal showing, nailing a suicide dive on Angle, but after that it went downhill for Matt, as Angle got in more, his mat-wrestling ability owning Matt's aerial tactics. Matt eventually regained momentum, but during the bout, the Dudley Boyz came to ringside and hammered at a feisty Jeff Hardy! Bubba tossed Jeff into the barricade, and the Dudleys stole Terri Runnels to backstage! Matt stuck his head through the ropes, and Angle nailed his Olympic Slam on Matt, for the win!
- Kurt Angle celebrated his victory as though he'd done it single-handedly yet again, Steve Blackman celebrating with Angle as they left; Jeff Hardy was attended to by Matt, the two Hardy Boyz concerned about where the Dudley Boyz had taken Terri Runnels!
- We cut to a backstage corridor, as Edge and Christian waled down the hallway, discussing that they have 'it'. What 'it' is, we don't know!
- Commercial Break
- From here, we cut to the backstage locker room of Chyna, as the WWF Co-Intercontinental Champion is stood next to her follower, the WWF Womens Champion, The Kat as they are talking to Chris Jericho, Y2J telling Chyna that she is right about the idea of teamwork. Y2J tells Chyna to team up against Kai En Tai, telling her to write on a petition set up by The Rock for matches tonight; [Rock has hijacked power of the show with the voices of the people/superstars!] Chyna signs on the petition, as we cut away.
- Match #3: Val Venis defeated Edge with Christian to retain the WWF European Championship Mike Sparks was the official. The crowd were split in this one, as the story behind this one was that Edge was to be engaged to the sister of our WWF European Champion, Val Venis. Venis and Edge had assigned this match to take place, for the WWF European Champion in a last-time brawl. As the two Canadians battled in the ring, Christian watched on, and these two wrestled on the mat solely, the fans not knowing exactly who to cheer for, and Edge almost got the win and the WWF European Championship with a spear, but Venis managed to kick out a split-second before the three. Venis fought back, as he nailed a reverse-backdrop, hooking the legs for two, and that looked like it could have ended it. Edge soon went for the Downward Spiral, but Venis got out of it and nailed a fisherman suplex for three!
- Val Venis celebrated his victory as he then got his WWF European Championship belt and shook hands and hugging Edge. Christian stood by Edge's side as Edge had a microphone, telling Venis that he may have been the best man tonight, but he won't be at Val's sister's wedding, because Christian will be! Val looked at them in disbelief, then reluctantly hugging both men before leaving.
- We cut to the backstage area, near the petition as The Rock was standing against the petition! He was writing something, before he turned around and looked the camera in the eye, leaving! We don't know who Rock is teaming with tonight.
- Commercial Break
- Match #4: Chris Jericho defeated Viscera to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship Jimmy Korderas was the official. You read this right, Chris Jericho was scheduled to team up with Chyna to take on Kai En Tai, but Chyna purposely stuck in Viscera's name, as Chyna and The Kat sat at ringside, Chyna on commentary, as she seemed concerned for Y2J as the match went on. Chris Jericho tried to get into Viscera repeatedly in this one, but Viscera kept managing to block Y2J's attacks, the five-hundred pounder catching Jericho running at him and tossing him up in the air, then slamming him down with a cutter! Chyna ended up slightly concerned, maybe for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, or maybe for her WWF Co-Intercontinental Championship partner. Viscera eventually missed the big splash, and when Y2J was getting up, he distracted the official, Korderas, Chyna clocking Viscera in the head with the title belt from the apron! Viscera collapsed as Y2J nailed a springboard moonsault from the second rope for the three!
- Chris Jericho celebrated his victory as though he had done it by himself, Chyna looking annoyed, as Chyna, still in possession of the WWF Intercontinental Championship stared on from ringside, Viscera down in the ring and The Kat by Chyna's side with the WWF Womens Championship. Y2J celebrated up the rampway.
- We return to the parking lot of Mick Foley, as he still had the faker (Mideon) tied up against a chair, Mankind telling Mideon about how something was funny what Mideon said, Foley not smiling, then yelling for Mideon to laugh! Foley told Mideon it would not end well for him, as he had a foam cup over his head, calling it the 'Chinese Water'. He dropped a bit on Mideon, as he screamed in agony, Mick laughing, continuing to drip bits of water down, then getting bored and tossing hot coffee at him!
- We return to the backstage hallway as Kane was shown walking down a hallway with Tori, and he is scheduled to face Big Show next!
- Commercial Break
- Match #5: Big Show defeated Kane with Tori by disqualification Mike Chioda was the referee. This as a hard-hitting match, Big Show and Kane having a history dating back to 1999, in a battle of Chokeslams, but here, Big Show was angry because Kane had gotten involved in attacking Show under orders of Triple H, last week, costing Show the WWF Championship to Triple H. Big Show was out for retribution, and he traded heavy shots with Kane, dominating the smaller-yet-larger man, Show choking Kane in the corner, but Kane managed to uppercut his way out of it, then managing to go up top and nail a huge flying clothesline on Show! The two traded blows, Kane actually clotheslining Show over the top rope, and this suddenly caused Tori to scream! Kane suddenly flicked his long black hair back and buried Show in lefts and rights, slamming him repeatedly head-first into the steel steps and grabbing the ring steps! He bashed it into the skull of Kane, causing disqualification!
- Big Show fell down to the floor, as the crowd booed Kane for some reason, Tori rushing up the rampway in distress! Kane slowly followed behind, as Big Show had been slightly cut open by the 'Big Red Machine'!
- Commercial Break
- A replay of what just happened aired, Big Show and Kane having a hard-fought battle, which was unexpectedly cut short as Tori screamed and this made Kane snap, slamming the ringsteps into Show's skull and causing him to bleed, Kane then chasing a distressed Tori up the rampway.
- We go to the Gorilla position as Tori was crying, Kane suddenly coming onto the scene and asking what was wrong, trying to hug her, but she ran away again!
- Match #6: Test defeated Al Snow Teddy Long was the official. This wasn't a bad match here, as the maniacal Al Snow seemed more sadistic then usual, the big man Test trying to take down Al Snow the easy way, unfortunately Al Snow wouldn't have it, as he kicked away at the leg of Test, and continued in just stomping on the legs of Test and working away it. Al tried to make it clear that Test, no matter what size he was, would have to suffer when it came to being in the ring with him. Snow had Head with him, and at one point he tried to nail Test with it, but Test booted it out of his hands, to ringside! Al looked upset, but Test continued, eventually nailing the Pumphandle Slam for the three!
- Test celebrated his seemingly easy-yet bizarre victory over Al Snow with the audience, standing in the ring, when all of a sudden, Al Snow slammed Head into Test's skull! Test fell to all fours, as Snow left, a sadistic grin on his face.
- We return to the parking lot, as Mick Foley asked the fake Mankind [Mideon] if he had had enough yet. Mideon gives in, telling Foley that he did, Foley threatening the fake Mankind into shoving his face into a television screen and forcing him to watch Al Snow matches! Mideon and Foley laughed as Foley told Mideon he was thinking about un-tieing him because he liked his fashion sense. Mideon thanked Mick a lot.
- Commercial Break
- We return to RAW, as Mick Foley was untieing the fake Mankind [Mideon], Mideon thanking Foley for untieing him. Foley tells Mideon that he shouldn't take friendship through anger, because then Foley threatened Mideon, telling him that he would hunt him down and make it his last mistake. Foley's mood the swung again as Foley told Mideon to relax and keep in the parking lot.
- Match #7: The Godfather with Hos defeated Big Bossman to win the WWF Hardcore Championship Tim White was the referee. This was a pretty physical match here, as the WWF Hardcore Championship was on the line for the first time in a little while, Godfather taking this match extremely seriously and body slamming Bossman repeatedly in the opening moments; Prince Albert was nowhere in sight as Godfather and Bossman continued to battle, Bossman eventually bringing in a few weapons, including a trash can and a mop and a bucket, as Bossman dropped the bucket of waste on Godfather! Bossman broke the mop over Godfather's spine, but it wouldn't put Godfather down, and he even nailed the Ho Train into Bossman! He went for the Pimp Drop, but that was the choice moment for Prince Albert to appear. Albert and Bossman double-suplexed Godfather before D-Lo Brown rushed to the ring for the save, taking Albert down before Godfather nailed the Pimp Drop onto a trash can to take the title!
- The Godfather celebrated his victory, picking up the WWF Hardcore Championship and raising his arms in victory, his Hos appearing in the ring and all four of them hugged Godfather. Prince Albert and Big Bossman exchanged words, as Albert eventually stormed out.
- We go to the backstage area as Kane was still looking for Tori, The Rock then confronting him, Kane about to shove him out of the way but Rock told Kane to stay put, telling the 'Big Red Machine' that he needed him. Rock told Kane that he knew what was going on with Tori, but now he had to talk business with the man in red and black!
- Match #8: The Dudley Boyz with Terri Runnels defeated The Headbangers Teddy Long was the referee. An easy win for The Dudley Boyz, as the manipulative D-Von and Bubba Ray dragged a handcuffed Terri Runnels with them, D-Von and Bubba then proceeding to brawl, all four men in the ring with one-another, D-Von taking Mosh out of the ring, and the two Dudley Boyz delivered a massive 3D on Thrasher, scoring the victory in less than a minute!
- The Dudley Boyz elebrated his victory as the crowd booed loudly, D-Von Dudley soon dragging Terri Runnels into the ring, her hands cuffed. D-Von and Bubba Ray adjusted the handcuffs and placed them around the top rope, as they got a table! They set it up in the ring, near the corner, as the Dudleys unhooked the cuffs, but D-Von passed Terri up to the top rope, and Bubba Ray powerbombed the defenseless girl through it! The crowd booed, but the Hardy Boyz then rushed down the rampway, clearing house without any physical action, Matt and Jeff running off D-Von and Bubba and attending to their manager, Terri Runnels!
- We go to the backstage area as Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws were all walking down a corridor, DX with their WWF Championship and WWF Tag Team Championships, and accompanied by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. We then cut to another corridor as The Rock was walking one corridor, the Acolytes down another, and Kane down a seperate one! The eight-man war is up next!
- An advertisement for the Royal Rumble aired, which will be like on pay-per-view on Sunday 27th January 2000 from Madison Square Garden in New York City!
- Commercial Break

- Match #9: The Rock, The Acolytes and Kane defeated D-Generation X with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley Mike Chioda was the official. A great war to close down the show, as the match started with The Rock and Billy Gunn, but it broke out as time went on. Mick Foley was shown numerous times throughout the match, watching the show via a small television on a sofa in the middle of the parking lot next to the fake Mankind! D-Generation X tried to work over Rock and keep Bradshaw, Faarooq and Kane out, as Gunn and Road Dogg, the WWF Tag Team Champions worked well as a unit in the New Age Outlaws. X-Pac was the one to let the team down, as he tried to kick Rock with a high-angle shot, but Rock ducked it and nailed a desperation spinebuster! Rock tagged in Kane [without Tori], as Kane clotheslined X-Pac countless times, the rage brought on by X-Pac in recent month, but then Tori came down the rampway! Kane spotted her, and climbed out of the ring, Bradshaw getting the tag. Bradshaw and Road Dogg brawled, Triple H still not doing a thing, Road Dogg trying the Pumphandle Drop, but Bradshaw and Faarooq of the Acolytes nailed the Double Powerbomb! Gunn got taken out by the Clothesline From Hell, and Rock traded blows with the WWF Champion! Kane was suddenly jumped by X-Pac, the two trading blows on the rampway, as around ringside, the Acolytes and the Outlaws had started brawling! Meanwhile, in the ring, The Rock was almost nailed with a DDT, but Rock nailed the spinebuster and prepared the People's Elbow, nailing it successfully for the win!
